It's salty, no calories, and pure heaven when done right! And Dakine does it exactly right! Not only that - they are the only place in town that sells the big juicy pickles (and hot pickles) that really make your mouth water! Their snow cones are true shaved ice. They shave it once you order. And you can get it with ice cream for just a tiny bit more. They also offer coffee beverages, nachos, and Hawaiian treats, including gourmet hot dogs. Really and truly, you just can't go wrong here and the price is right on everything! They also sell purified water here. I'm a freakish water snob and the water here is really good! It doesn't have that weird stale taste a lot of bottled water has and is super refreshing! My only "complaint" is that they are closed on Sunday because I need pickle snow cones 7 days a week! Ha! I know this sounds ridiculous but my biggest issue outside of the flavor was the sizing, the cup was HUGE and I ordered a small. I didn't see a smaller sizing option on the menu, it was almost $9 with tip for the smallest gelati. Of course I didn't finish not only because of the size but because of the flavoring.
