The scheduler contacted me to schedule an appointment. I was not a fan of the scheduler because of the heavy Indian accent and lack of listening to me but I won't dock the stars on this location because of him. I arrived on time and waited. Apparently, a prior authorization was not done for my secondary insurance but luckily it was quick. Who's fault was that? They obviously had it on file but if they have an authorization department, that person didn't do their job. My tech was Gregory. He was very kind and sweet and I told him I was hesitant on visiting this location but glad I did because he made a difference with my experience. He talked me through my whole time there with what he was doing and waht he was going to do. I was able to get 2 blankets because I'm always cold. He also was patient while trying to get the contrast needle in. My veins are not the best but he managed to secure the needle on the second try. Thank you, Gregory, for your kindness, patience, and great rapport. Having someone who communicates well and makes you feel comfortable really does make a difference--especially when you're already nervous about having medical imaging done.

I was told three times by a very young and very arrogant lab tech who did my MRI that I definitely DID NOT need to remove the two metal partial dentures in my mouth for my MRI even though my head would be inside the MRI machine during the MRI. The older and more experienced woman assisting this arrogant kid did not say a word while he insisted to me that I could and should wear my metal dentures in the MRI. Fortunately I did not listen to this idiot lab tech boy doing my MRI and I removed my metal dentures at the last minute before getting in the MRI machine. That decision might have saved my life I found out later. I have no idea how in the world something like this could ever happen, but it did. Fortunately I remembered from a previous MRI that ALL METAL needed to be removed from my mouth and my entire body to avoid DEATH OR SERIOUS BODILY INJURY!! I have since talked to several doctors and personal injury lawyers about this MRI experience and they all agree this was either total and complete incompetence by two SimonMed employees or maybe something much worse like racism!! The problem with wearing metal in a MRI machine is that it can not just screw up the tests and damage the MRI machine, IT CAN ALSO KILL YOU OR CAUSE SERIOUS AND PERMANENT BODILY HARM!!! Nobody likes to give blood. Or visit any doctor for that matter. But it's always nice when you go…read moreplaces that make you feel welcome and at home. This particular quest diagnostics did okay at that. I will say this, I really miss the person at the front counter to check you in. It's always nice to have a human touch, but now they all have those sign in kiosks that feel very impersonal. There's not a soul in sight that looks like they can help you when you walk in. But the actual people I did meet there were incredibly nice and fun. Normally the appointment process is sketchy. But this time I got in super fast, and they took care of me within 10 minutes. The phlebotomists in the back are top notch, super friendly and chatty and make the experience quite enjoyable. We had a little bit of chit chat, and she took the blood with minimal discomfort. Bottom line? I would absolutely come back here again when I need to go to a quest diagnostics. You should too, it was super easy, super fast and they got the job done.

I would agree with this sentiment in the fact that they have nice seating and the kiosks are away from each other so you can comfortably sign in. The waiting area and the rooms are clean and seem to be larger than others I've seen. The information board is clear and updated frequently so you always know how close you are to being called. I also really liked the fact that the technicians who come out to do your testing actually will stop and talk with you if you have questions. Although, this may be a bad thing because we were called back but had to wait for someone who kept insisting that the kiosk was broken (it was not) so our phlebotomist was with him for a good minute while we waited in room 1. Not a problem though, he was super nice and apologetic and had a nice gentle touch!

Today, Steinberg calls and said they have not gotten the pre-authorization from my urologist office for this test. They claim that they do not do insurance pre-authorization for testing that required the doctors office that refers you to them to get it. I talked to my urologist office. They send it in the day. I had my appointment last month and then send it again today. However, a supervisor at Steinberg claims they never received it and they simply canceled my appointment. I have told my urologist I no longer trust Steinberg Diagnostic to do my testing. I prefer to go back to Desert radiology I have always had a good experience with him. I will never ever ever use Steinberg again nor should you.

It has been over 2 weeks since my husband's MRI's were done and they have not yet been read. The…read moredoctor's office is unable to get them. Steinberg said they would send the report to the doctor's office, but they sent reports from 2023 and 2024! He is in pain, falling, and likely needs surgery, but cannot get an appointment without the reports. We have called, e-mailed, gone to the Steinberg location, and still cannot get the results. We are beyond frustrated and cannot get help.

Poor communication…read more Very disappointing experience. I had an appointment scheduled for 8:00, but the front desk, Charisma said it was supposed to be at 7:30. Even after checking in, more than 20 people were called and left while I continued waiting for 1:47 hours. When I asked about the delay, Charisma said that I was considered late and had been pushed to the back of the line. If there was a scheduling issue, it should have been communicated clearly instead of leaving me waiting without explanation. Very frustrating and unprofessional handling of appointments.

Being a "seasoned citizen" I've had far more experiences than most needing typical scans. With that in mind, I believe I am qualified to say: SimonMed provides one of the best experiences and overall environments for getting doctor-ordered scans I have ever witnessed or in which I participated. No close second vote--they've got it nailed! I read several reviews prior to choosing SimonMed where they complained about long wait times, hassles finding doctor orders, etc. Thankfully the review with the most impact said the key was completing ALL form submissions and preregistration possible ONLINE. They also recommended having a copy of the Doctor's order IN HAND, just in case. Upon arrival (15 mins before my appointment which they recommended) they scanned my ID and insurance cards and asked me to be seated in the waiting room. I was called just about five mins after my appointment time which was a wonderful exception to the rule! My life experience tell me the wait will ALWAYS be 30 mins PLUS! The technician was calm, funny, warm and engaging. The ONLY complaint I had was her refusal to share with me, THE PATIENT, any of what she was or was not seeing. See explained that she would be instantly fired if she broke protocol. I get it. But that meant having to worry another couple days. Bottom line: do your part, be prepared ahead of time with everything needed for the clinic, bring copies of everything and enjoy a far better experience than most facing these tests.

Instead of issuing it their billing company MSN Healthcare Solutions actively attempted to collect an additional $262.35 I did not owe -- while simultaneously holding my money. My insurance company had to intervene four separate times over seven months to resolve this. Each time a refund deadline approached Pueblo submitted a new corrected claim deliberately resetting the clock. One claim was denied due to their own filing error. They ultimately reduced my refund through improper billing code unbundling. When I filed a BBB complaint their response repeatedly characterized this as a simple premature billing statement -- a dishonest minimization of a deliberate pattern of delay and predatory collection practices. They never took accountability. Know your rights as a patient. Verify every claim with your insurance company. Do not pay anything without confirming with your insurer first. What they did to me they are likely doing to others who don't know to fight back.

I'm…read morehighly claustrophobic, and also have an impossible time lying on my back due to severe back pain. My joy was short-lived. I arrived 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment, and was told by the unfriendly front-desk girl that I was late. No one had told me to be there earlier; I live way on the other side of town, and S. Maryland Pkwy. is completely ripped up. When I got home, there was a message on my phone half an hour before the appointment time asking where I was. The technician, Adriana, who did the MRI told me that I couldn't move at all during the test, not even during the time in-between the various sections of it. So I didn't, not one bit. She said if I did, the entire test would be invalidated. The room was also freezing, so she had put a sheet over my hands that were resting on a cube on my lap. She told me that she wouldn't be able to hear me, but if I needed help I should raise my hand. Wouldn't that then invalidate the whole test?? The last section of the test was the longest, seven minutes, she said. And when that ended, she said I was going to have to come back and have the entire MRI redone, because I had moved. I said I hadn't moved a muscle, so then she asked if I had taken a deep breath. I knew I had, so she said that was the reason. So why didn't she tell me not to take a deep breath along with the don't-move instruction that she kept repeating??? I was not about to do another 30+ mile round-trip to repeat the entire test and risk having to screw it up again if I did something as natural as breathing, so I told her to just have them send the report to the doctor as-is. She said she'd see what the doctor would do. And that led into a nearly week-long odyssey. I'd call every day and never get through. I had the tech's extension #, but it would ring three times and disconnect. On the rare occasion that I got to speak to the tech, she changed her tune and said I'd only have to repeat the last part. So which part of what she told me was true - repeat the whole test, or just the last part??? Totally untrustworthy. Once again, I told her that I wanted it sent the way it was. Finally, after six days, when I called and finally got through after another five attempts, she said the report had been sent to my doctor; I had her send it to me, which she did. From beginning to end, the unprofessionalism and lack of honesty of this facility is a deal breaker. I also had to have a different MRI, and chose an open-sided MRI facility. The difference in the way I was treated was like night and day, and I dealt with the back problem and the claustrophobia just fine, thanks to the skill and caring of the techs at the other facility (see my review). LV Radiology's Upright MRI isn't worth the trade-off. Unfortunately, they're pretty much the only game in town for an Upright, but it's not worth it. Better off to suck it up and go for an Open MRI. It was a horrible experience made even worse by the incompetence of everyone there.
