I was excited to try this place. It was busy on a Thursday night. However, i made a reservation so i got seated right away. We ordered our drinks and food as soon as a waitress came. We got our complimentary bread and bruschetta shortly. We waited for a while and had to ask about the wine we ordered. Apparently the waitress forgot about it. We waited for another 30 - 45 min and finally got our dishes. During that time, no one came to ask if we needed anything or missed anything. Needless to say, they need to improve their service. We got two pasta dishes and a veal parm. The pasta dishes were too salty for our taste and pasta was very chewy. We were not impressed with the taste and the quality. Returned for lunch with a friend and our grandson. First customers of the day. I took advantage of the 1/2 bottle of wine ordering a Banfi Chianti. We started with 2 orders of calamari and a beef carpaccio. Delicious. My Grandson had the classic spaghetti while I had the Fra Diavolo withe shrimp. My wife and our friend split a Fra Diavolo and lobster ravioli with black mussels. For dessert I had 3 cannolis, our grandson had.cheese cake, our friend had the chocolate lava cake and my wife had chocolate mousse. All the food was fantastic. Service was top notch. This place has lasted a long time in this location but I think it's pretty mid at this point. For some reason, they got rid of the eggplant parm, which was their best vegetarian dish. One of the elders in my family still loves their tomato sauce so we get takeout from here every once in a while, but I don't get too excited about it! Nice little place tucked away in a shopping center with plenty of parking and a handful of other little shops. My husband and I came on a Sunday night and it wasn't too crowded. There's a back room and a front part with plenty of seating. The service was great. We got complimentary bread and marinara before our meals and the waiters were prompt and polite. The bread was delicious. It came warm with a nice crunchy exterior but soft on the inside. The marinara was a touch spicy and very tomatoey. We also asked for some butter which came warm and easy to spread. For our meals we got a cream sauce pasta with mushrooms and sausage and a pizza with sausage, ham, peppers, and onions (the Vittorio's). The pasta was delicious. The sauce was creamy and earthy from the mushrooms and it came with a good amount of delicious Italian sausage. The pizza was smaller than I expected but had a lot of toppings. It tasted okay for me, but not my favorite pizza ever. We originally chose to come here to use some of our synergy gift cards, however when we got our check we found out it was half off pastas! We couldn't use the gift cards, which is fine because half off pasta was a great deal in itself. They told us they have half off pastas every Sunday and Monday night and a few other deals throughout the week. Wish we knew it was half off pasta so we could've gotten two instead of a pizza! First of all, the service was excellent. The staff is very attentive. They are very friendly. Most of all, they are so very helpful. We had an instance where we needed some extra care and they stepped right up and took care of the issue. It was fantastic. The bread that they serve before the meal is wonderful. The marinara that they used to dip The bread is very good. In fact, it is so good that we wonder why they don't use it as gravy for their dishes. The gravy that they used for both their lasagna and their chicken Parm was different. It was a little watery and had a completely different taste. Their wine list was very nice. We got a very nice glass of Chianti to go with our dinner. Their prices are very reasonable. In fact, we thought they were downright pleasant considering what we have paid in other restaurants. Review for their Tuesday special! Friends and I came in for dinner and we picked this place because it was in between our houses. We discovered their Tuesday special and will be back. Two small plates of their Caeser salad, Choice of entree per person(meat lasagna, ravioli, chicken dish, or lemoni salmon), and a bottle of house wine to share. All for about $42! The food was pretty good too! They brought our complimentary bread with marinara as well. Another friend ordered spaghetti Bolognese and it was a huge portion for about $20. Plenty of parking in the plaza and we were promptly seated. There weren't too many people so the service was pretty efficient. The atmosphere was very nice with high ceilings. They provided complimentary bread. We got the artichokes as an appetizer. It was flavorful and tender without being too sour as it is sometimes. My husband's linguine was great and he loved the shrimp. My sister in law's mushroom ravioli was really good although the ravioli was a little too al dente. The 3 star is because of my own dish. I ordered the Pappardelle al Ragu di Costolette Corte. It called to me from the menu and I was so excited to try it because I love short rib. When my dish was set down, it wasn't pappardelle. And there was what looked like a meat sauce. And the waiter who placed it down said "the bolognese". So I said I ordered the pappardelle al ragu. He took it away. A few minutes later, some pappardelle was placed down in front of me with the same looking meat sauce. So I asked if this was the ragu, and he said yes. Now I didn't want to argue so I just accepted this pasta dish. I couldn't figure out what all the oil was for because the veggies weren't even cooked. So bland and oily it went in the trash. Meatballs were okay but they were in a very watery, unseasoned tomato sauce, definitely not marinara, that seemed like it was just poured straight out of the same can of tomato sauce they used for the soup. First of all, our server, Lexie was fantastic. I realize that I was a bit of a pain in the bottom Customer a few nights ago because I forgot to tell her that when I ordered the popper Del, I didn't want any meat. That was my fault, but she still had it made with a mushroom cream sauce that I requested. So that brings me to my point that's really nice about this restaurant. If you wanna switch sauces, you can just ask your server. I realize my punctuation and cuss and capitalization is off. that's due to my phone, but she was very attentive and even though we had a situation with the Coke machine not being very fizzy she brought a Diet Coke, canned my husband I had more bread and a certain, and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Celebrated a birthday for one of our friends. I ordered the shrimp Diablo with linguini. Sauce was very tasty especially with fresh shaved Parmesan cheese. They also use the jumbo shrimp and the linguini was al dente. Our servers were great. Food arrived in no time and they also had fresh bread. This place can be somewhat romantic. My spouse and I have been going to Vittorio's for several years now and it is time to write a review. It is not just the delicious food that draws us to Vittorios, although there is no doubt that everything is well prepared, generous, and delicious, it is also the service and ambience. Whenever we arrive, we are warmly greeted either by Vittorio or by the friendly and professional servers at the restaurant. We are seated and immediately given delicious, warm bread and asked for our order. We are never rushed, nor are we ever ignored. The table cloths are pristine, the glasses shimmer, the ambience is serene, and the service is excellent, and we feel well taken care of. There is always laughter heard from those seated at the bar, and that adds to the experience. All of the servers are truly wonderful, and whenever Martin is assigned to our table, we enjoy his kindness, patience and care. We did not know until recently that even our dog is welcome as there is a table outside as it is always fun to have him with us. As someone else wrote, Vittorio's is indeed a "hidden gem" and when you go there, it is more than a delightful dining, it is a warm and inviting experience. read more
