I returned to her because back then she gave me good vibes, tried to help with my situation, and even completed a document to ensure my insurance covered it. It was medically necessary. Today I came in for a mole consultation. I've had this mole my whole life, or for as long as I can remember, but it has slowly grown. It's been itching, and I'm now able to squeeze it between my fingers. Long story short, I was concerned about the cancer implications. It doesn't take long to notice that the business is 'money first, everything else later'. I provided my credit card and paid the $200 upfront cost, but had to once again provide this information when I arrived. I understood it was a cosmetic procedure, so it would likely not be covered by insurance, but was more concerned about the possible cancer part. Once you know this, and are okay with that, I suppose it is what it is. Once Dr. Rodney arrived for the consultation, she provided a few options: freeze it or surgically remove it to ensure the 'root' was removed as well. Of course, the surgical option would cost more. If she froze it there was the possibility I'd have to return due to its thickness. I opted for the surgery. The technician whipped out her payment system so I could pay right there on the spot. Perhaps others have run out the door before making payment? I don't know. I suppose anything is possible. We moved to another room, and Dr. Rodney proceeded to remove the mole. She numbed the area so I felt no pain. It was rather quick. I'll return in 10-days to have the stitches removed. I'll update that part after. Overall, it was quick & painless. Well, the only pain was to my wallet, which I would have minded less if they went about it another way. IMO, I prefer the Dr. Rodney of old.

My experience: * I paid $300 for the appointment and waited…read more90 minutes in the waiting room and another 25 minutes in the exam room before Dr Rodney saw me. * Dr Rodney did not examine my skin which has severe eczema! She had her assistants take pictures but the doctor never touched my skin, never looked at my skin and never got any closer to me than about 6 ft away. The doctor spent exactly 7 minutes in the exam room with me. * I asked her why do I have such severe eczema? Is this even eczema? She shrugged her shoulders at me and said 'I don't know'. I asked her what could be causing this issue. Is it dietary? Could it be stress-related? Is it allergy-related? Is it parasite related? She shrugged her shoulders and said "I don't know" to every question I asked her. * Dr Rodney asked me NO questions about my prior medical history or my lifestyle or my diet. She did not ask me about my level of pain or medications I've tried in the past or how I was treating my severe eczema at home. * Dr Rodney had no concern for my well-being! I have been her patient for several years and all she is ever done is give me steroids that don't work. * Dr Rodney's like a legal drug dealer because all she wants to do is give you a prescription and send you away... over and over and over again. Yet it is particularly difficult to get a refill. The doctor wants you to keep coming in and pay those $300 office visits so they can give you a different drug and send you on your way without asking any questions about you, your lifestyle or your condition. * You must pay in full before you even see the doctor. * And while you wait 90 minutes for your appointment, Dr Rodney is on every television in the waiting room and also in the exam room showing herself on a daytime talk show. Her appearance on that talk show is played continually while you wait... *Dr Rodney at Eternal Dermatology is not interested in curing you, examining you or exploring what could possibly be causing these chronic conditions. She did not physically examine my skin nor did she ask me any questions about anything at all! Wow. PATIENT BEWARE!! Dr Rodney at Eternal Dermatology does not care about her patient's well-being! Because if she did care about her patients, she would ask questions and explore and try to figure out what's going on with chronic skin conditions. What a terrible experience I had with Dr Rodney. I have never been more disappointed in a doctor.

First of all, when you walk into the facility, you'll feel like you're walking into some magical place! The aesthetics are welcoming! Think bright, white, soft, and clean. It gives doctor's office, but in a good sense. I came in today for the inBody Scan. Several of my work colleagues have had one done and spoke to the benefits. My partner also had one and when I saw her printed results I was curious. So, I'm here to get one myself. It was pretty quick. You speak with a clinician/nurse to go over your medical background and discuss the reason you came to see them. That part could be short or long depending on YOU. Next we went into another room for the actual scan. You wipe your feet and the palms of your hands before standing on the 'scanner'. It gave me bodyfat scale vibes. I have one at home and you stand on it barefoot to get your weight and body fat. Anyway, you're instructed on how to stand on the machine and..... Walah! It's done! Your results are printed, explained, and discussed. Good info. It was much of what I had already expected, but I'm really here for the blood panel! My job give us (well, it's actually a requirement) an annual medical exam so I know a lot of my history, but I'll admit, these metrics are a bit deeper. You can also scan a QR code on the results page to get more detailed information. I haven't done that yet, but will! Next, they have an on-site lab (Quest Diagnostics) to draw blood. THIS is what I'm interested in. They'll do a full panel. And when I say FULL-PANEL, I'm talking 100 vials of blood panel. HA! Not really, but that's what it felt like. So make sure you're hydrated before your appointment or they wont be able to draw the amount of blood they need. But yeah, it'll be more vials than your average blood draw. Don't panic though, you'll be fine. And that was it. I'M SO EXCITED for my follow-up appointment to go over the results of my blood draw. Oh, and I left with goodies! They gave me T-shirts. And these are GOOD T-shirts. I wore one later that day. It's that soft material that I like in my shirts. Very good marketing. Oh, and chapstick! ROFLMAO. I took several because I'm a chapstick hoarder. Anywho, they have tons of services and I see myself sampling several of the options they offer. Check it out.

I booked a Brazilian and underarm wax based on the high rating and positive reviews, and wanting to…read moretry out/support a local small business. Unfortunately, I'm sad to say that had a very disappointing experience and won't be returning. The session was fast and budget ($40 for both), easy to schedule on her website, but it came with major compromises on technique and basic sanitation. Soft wax strips were used for both my underarms and the sensitive areas, which led to significant hair breakage rather than clean root extraction. This left a noticeable stubbly texture immediately afterward. There was no privacy setup or draping, and I was asked to hold my own skin folds in place with not much instruction. Additionally, I did not think that she pressed down on my skin after ripping the wax strips off to minimize pain, which I thought was standard in wax school training... Most concerningly, the esthetician repeatedly held the wooden waxing spatula in her mouth between applications during an intimate service. For a procedure dealing with freshly opened hair follicles, this is a serious cross-contamination and basic hygiene concern. No mirror was offered at the end to check the work, and when I told her that I still saw and felt stay hairs, she just responded that the hair was too coarse and deeply rooted. Which for underarms and the pubic area, of course it was! There was no offer to tweeze or clean up the stray hairs. I was then just given drug store equate baby oil to rub on my privates after this. While this setup might work for someone looking for a quick, low-cost wax who isn't concerned about sensitive-area technique or standard salon sanitation, I expected professional safety and hygiene protocols. There was also coffee and/or food on the table underneath the cabinets containing her baby oil and talc powder. I'm not sure but I think that I might even have seen the wax spatula already in the wax pot when I walked into the suite. I sure hope that doesn't mean that she had used it on the previous client before me... Needless to say, I will be using a dedicated hard-wax studio in the future.

I would also note my mom had recently lost 80lbs and has never done anything to treat herself. When we arrived- friendliness and concern the entire time. LIPS: She started with her lips- My mom's exact words "I don't want to look like a duck". It's impossible to look like a duck because she never really had an upper lip. They gave her, the only way I can explain it, was a whole face lift. Her bags, gone. Her cheeks, defined.
