Brittany Wilson maimed my chin. She hit the wrong muscle and also made the medical decision to inject my chin, knowing that I had Bell's palsy 9 years ago. It has been six months since the Dysport and I'm still experiencing horrible unevenness and denting in my chin. The office refuses to call me back. They only offer appointments during times that I'm not able to make knowing that I do not feel comfortable seeing them or trusting them. It took three weeks for Brittany to admit that she did something wrong and at first she tried to tell me that this was normal. I would never recommend that anybody go there and I'm currently reporting her to the board of nurses. Back in October, she threatened me with a cease and desist if I didn't remove the pictures that I posted on Instagram about what she did to me. Then she blocked me on that social media platform. This is a long overdue review of one of my favorite places in the DMV area! I will start by saying that my whole philosophy for self-care and youth aesthetics starts with natural, organic products and foods. Therefore, I was looking for a place that would provide the most natural looking results - minimally invasive, some immediate solutions (such as sprinkle of tox) but with the ultimate goal to stimulate my body's own production of collagen for long term, reverse aging results (such as sculptra, micro needling, etc). Through my research, I immediately was drawn to Brittany's location. Her extensive medical background and knowledge of facial aesthetics, not to mention her social media presence and transparency of her own experiences with facial procedures boosted my confidence in making my first appointment. Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed with the beautiful office. After meeting Brittany, and her answering all of my questions (I had many!), she immediately set my mind at ease and assured me that the procedure would enhance my natural appearance and make me look refreshed! She was so kind and knowledgeable. And after the procedure (upper face sprinkle of tox), I was so incredibly pleased with the results! During my 2nd visit, I was scheduled with another equally impressive aesthetic practitioner, Beatriz (as Brittany was booked - understandably so). Brittany is the best ! I can't say enough good things. I started getting Botox around the age of 26 . I am now 29 . I started getting them for my forehead wrinkles. Ive went to many injectors in those years and always found that either they made my eyes droop or too many units. I have fatty upper Asian eyelids and it was my literal fear of basically dealing with droopy eyelids on one eye for 6 weeks at least until the botox started to wear off a bit . I was a bit scared it would happen to me again because I've never had an injector that didn't give me those side effects . It's been about a week since my Botox and no droopy eyelids ! I can already tell my Botox has settled into my forehead. The best part is I told Brittany I did not want to go overboard . I let her know that the last time I got Botox, they went so overboard- It gave me really anxiety to not move my forehead at all . It was SO tight . I can say Brittany made sure of that . I'm still able to move my eyebrows and my wrinkles don't show at all . I also did Botox around my eyes for my under eye lines and crows . They look amazing . Additionally, I did the Botox for my jaw as I clench really bad to the point where my gums have pulled away from my teeth. So- my sister gets this done to slim her face, but I notice she cannot smile with her teeth . I was a bit scared and weary to get it ! But I am SO glad I did . Brittany did say it would take 6 months to actually see the slimming effect but I have to say I think I definitely see it slightly already ! The best part is everything is so natural . There's no tightness when smiling at all . I also want to point out that her prices are AMAZING . She charges for the area instead of by the unit if you are doing large areas . I honestly appreciate this so much as it's easier to go back in a couple a months and being able to keep up with the Botox . Her receptionist was super friendly and welcoming . Brit changed my life in so many different ways. For the past few years I've had a huge insecurity about my face- more so my cheeks, they would stoop, and sagged and I just hated it. I had gone to about 3 different professionals - whom all told me the only way to fix the "droopiness" is to do a FACE LIFT. Mind you I am 25 years old and I was about 23 when these doctors told me I needed a face lift. I finally met Brit, and I told her what the other doctors told me, along with blaming the sagging on me smoking for barely 5 years. Moving along- I told Brit my situation, my insecurities then she proceeded to ask me questions as well of course. I told her I lost 180 pounds, and she explained THAT is why my face was sagging, from my (fast) weight, not from smoking and no surgery was needed.
