In my experience, touch-ups are normally included as part of standard aftercare, and this situation was not communicated clearly or professionally. However, I was immediately offered a 10:00 AM appointment the next day. Since there were no other therapists available, I had to rearrange my schedule to accommodate the change. The following day, 2 hours before my rescheduled appointment, I received another message asking to move the appointment an hour later because the therapist would not make it on time. Although inconvenient, I agreed. When I arrived for the rescheduled appointment, the building was completely locked and there was no one there. After calling the number that had been texting me, I was told the therapist was running 15 minutes behind due to a "family emergency". At that point, after multiple last-minute changes, delays, waste of gas, I felt that my time was simply not being respected. Emergencies happen, and most clients can be understanding of occasional scheduling issues. However, repeated cancellations, rescheduling requests, and delays over the course of 2 days created a very disappointing experience.
