She ignored my calls and emails, even after the receptionist and her daughter told me email was the "best way" to reach her because she responds right away. I'm still waiting. My eye still looks bad, and I've become extremely self‑conscious. I even asked for a prescription for the eye drops that can help with this kind of complication. Stephanie, Jen's daughter, said she would speak with her mother and get back to me. I never heard from either of them again. This has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had with any medical or cosmetic provider. I paid for a Groupon, and Jen talked me into paying more once I arrived. The whole interaction felt phony, like they say whatever they need to say to make a sale -- but disappear the moment something goes wrong. I would not recommend ProMD Health to anyone. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic patient care is unacceptable.

I came in for Botox and lip filler, and returned for a touch-up after being told it would be included. After driving about 40 minutes, I was informed that I would need to pay because "all the product had already been used." This was never explained to me at the time of treatment. In my experience, touch-ups are normally included as part of standard aftercare, and this situation was not communicated clearly or professionally. Due to this experience and how it was handled, I will not be returning.

I also saw them be completely rude to a lady of color when she asked about the line. Which is always left side check in and for some reason that day they mixed it up. She didn't do anything wrong and should t have been treated like that. I should not have been treated like I did. I won't say they are racist but it seems like they don't want to even try and accommodate people with different names. The doctor did tell me her parents named her Cheryl since they didn't want her to have a weird Indian name. I wish she would make an effort to have a more welcoming office.

I could hear staff down the hall chatting about their personal life. After 45 mins someone came in and said "ready to leave?" I said NO I HAVE NOT BEEN SEEN YET!! More waiting. When I was seen I had to ask the practitioner to actually look at my back - one of the reasons I was there. It had been a few years since I was last seen for my skin condition and I was being given a new prescription without her actually looking at the area being treated! Nothing was written down so when I picked up my prescriptions (which said follow provider instructions) I had to call for the notes. I won't be returning.

Poor Results & Dismissive Care - Not for Sensitive Skin…read more I visited Dr. Sarah Mess's office two weeks ago for Botox and had a deeply disappointing experience. Not long after the treatment, my eyes became puffy and began to droop, and I developed a rash--none of which I've experienced before in my many years of getting Botox. The puffiness and rash came from skincare products she applied and tried to sell me, despite me clearly stating that I have very sensitive skin. Instead of testing a small patch, she applied the products all over my face. When I contacted her about the reaction, she told me to take Zyrtec for the puffy, drooping eyes--saying, "It can't hurt"--even though I don't have allergies. For the rash, she offered no professional solution, just told me to use over-the-counter products on my own. When I raised concerns about the results and how I looked, she brushed it off, saying it would wear off in a few months and that I was "still pretty." Meanwhile, half my forehead still has visible wrinkles. There was no real follow-up, no accountability, and no real care. I was left feeling dismissed and unsupported. If you value thoughtful, personalized treatment--especially if you have sensitive skin--this is not the place for you. Save your time and your money.

The staff deleted the appointment, so when I called to confirm it the day before, they had already given it to someone else. No apology, no taking responsibility for the hassle they had caused me. I begged them to squeeze me in somehow. No go. My options were 1. See the P.A. in 2 months or 2. wait 3 months for Dr. Rusonis. I opted for the P.A., but the following year when I had another Rusonis appointment, I explained to him what had happened and how rudely I had been treated. He shrugged - "I let my staff take care of all that. I don't get involved in office activities." I told him I was sorry to hear that and I'd be looking for a new dermatologist. I suppose he's a capable physician, but there are many others out there. I now have a female dermatologist who has a much nicer bedside manner.

I'm writing this for my husband as he is the one who had work done by Dr. Kanter and a little bit…read morewill be my experience with him. My husband was suffering with Rhinophyma due to having Rosacea that did not respond well to medications and also being of Eastern European descent. It wasn't horrible at first, but in the past two years, it took on a new life and actually caused him many issues with his breathing. His dermatologist referred him to a number of plastic surgeons, but for one reason or another the doctors were doing specialty work and as his was for a medical reason, he was having a time. He was given two more referrals, one of them being for Dr. Kanter. My husband said that the office was very nice and staff was very friendly. Dr. Kanter looked at his nose and found that my husband's nostrils were being constricted by the growths. It was decided that he would need surgery to remove them and to reconstruct his nose. He had the surgery three weeks ago and what a wonderful job Dr. Kanter did! My husband is so very pleased as am I. Before and after the surgery-actually he even called the night BEFORE the surgery and one other time....totally unheard of(!), Dr. Kanter spoke to both my husband and I at the outpatient center, letting us know what he would be doing and answering any concerns that we might have. He also called personally to check in to see how hubby was doing the evening that he had the surgery. Always very pleasant and wonderful bedside manner! I know both of us were so very impressed, but what's more impressive is Dr. Kanter's work! My husband printed him about seven or so pictures of his nose before all this happened and he really was able to capture what it looked like previously. He has given my husband his life back and certainly a lot more confidence....the big joke around our house right now is he has the 19 year old nose on the 64 year old face! =P Just a side note, he had a little pain post surgery, but really none to speak of afterwards. Never took anything (even though he did get a prescription) beyond over the counter relief. If you are considering any sort of reconstructive work, we both would recommend him highly!
