I'm NOT going back again. I went to there in the early of this summer. I loved my new style of hair but the customer service need to fix. My total cost was almost $800 for two of us. I gave 20% chip for our staylists. By the way the lady in the front just told to me the amount of my service and flilpped a machine for a credit card. I have to asked her the reciept. I needed to know why my bill was so hight. When I made an appointment by phone, I got to told by someone said about $450 for two. It's more $350 then I expected. crazy!!! I couldn't check the details of my service at the salon. There were uncertain charges so I sent an email next day. Almost two months since I send it but no one reached me at all. Everytime a hair stylist does something and it will be charges, you should to explain the customer first. It is my choice to do or don't, not a hair stylist. First time having shellac manicure here! The aestheticians are so lovely/ the kindest and really relatable. Made me so comfortable! However my shellac application the first time peeled after 2 days- customer service was on point and they were awesome with redoing them but the "redo" is almost worse than the first time! They look so grown out :( Probably will stick with my usual spot. read more

I don't think I'll be returning. I guess the biggest plus was that the storefront is attractive, and they were able to squeeze me in last minute. I came here for a brow waxing the other day. I usually get them done at Life Salon but they keep doing them way way too thick and I like mine medium thin. I told the woman at Vitality to make them thinner with the same shape as they have currently. The room she did my brows in was dirty, dried wax on the bed and strips of wax with hair on them (gross). She also wasn't overly friendly. My brows kind of suck, they're definitely uneven and not thinner than they were. The worst part is the entire time, she was trying to sell me things, I cannot stand that. The prices were reasonable (~20), but I would rather pay an extra $5 to go elsewhere... read more

I have been a Vitality customer for 5 years now. I am especially a fan of their Kerastase line it has done mad wonders to my hair especially when it was really in need of repair from the damage. I usually see Chelsy for my hair who give amazing head massages. I could spend usually $200 getting my hair retouched every time or about $35 for a hair cut and style. It is a little bit higher end but you get the Kerastase experience which are these amazing hair products from Europe and I find the Vitality staff are more trained giving a luxury experience than individual salon. Plus they have awesome Kerastase treatments that they can only do in salon. When i get my brows done I usually see Mary or Anastasyia who usually charges me a little over $20 for a wax. they are really quick and efficient and I always get promotion card from whoever i see bring in a friend and get 20%. Liz at the desk is always cheerful and willing to take your coat or you choice of water/coffee and a chocolate. I'm glad to be a Vitality client and will always come back again! read more

Seemed clean for nail treatment. Uses washable metal basin instead of dirty foot-jet-massage-chair-apparatus. But they were 30 mins late for my appointment and I had to be somewhere else after. Technician was nice. A lot of sales push on trying to get me to sign up for facials, massages, etc. Thanks, but no thanks. read more

Do not waste your money! I have had many IPL facials over the years in Halifax, Toronto and Vancouver, with varying results, understanding that not all treatments/spas are created equal. However I have never had an IPL with absolutely NO results! I reported this at my follow-up visit assuming they would correct the situation and was told in a condescending manner that they were following the treatment guidelines. If following the guidelines equates with NO RESULTS, then I would agree. They sited time of year, with possible risk of sun exposure for the reason that the treatment was set as it was. I responded that I understood those risks and would not be exposing myself to the sun. I also would not have booked and paid for a treatment that provided no benefits whatsoever! This was a colossal waste of over $400.00, followed up by a very patronizing interaction. I have never written a review before but felt compelled....it just might save someone else their time and money. read more

Worst Brazilian of my life! Words cannot express the crap job that was done. Helen used hard wax which is usually my favourite but basically tried to take off EVERYTHING with one strip. This obviously went horribly as she didn't have the strength to rip the darn thing off which resulted in her continuously yanking and pulling full force at this very large piece that was still attached to my body (the most sensitive part) and she eventually had to cut it off leaving me with a crappier situation than when I came. Awesome... She took me to the cash register after apologising but mostly covering her ass with excuses, and gave me 10 dollars off. The bill still came out to over 50 dollars with this extremely generous discount ... Needless to say I will never be going back! read more

I feel I have been scammed! I had the eyelash extensions put on at $200 a pop. Sure they looked very nice as I left the spa! I was told the regular at $150 wouldn't quite give the "full" look so I was charged for the so called fuller look....$200 + tax. Over the next few days I swear over half fell out. I called one day later and spoke to Estelle who did the work and she would not stand behind her 1 hour job. She actually blamed my eyelashes as not being ideal for extensions. She said I was sporty and my lashes were too fine. Really? I thought that was why I was getting the extensions and if they were not going to work why take my money in the first place? She blamed me washing my face with get this, I used the product she upsold me. yes, I had to buy their cleanser at $35 as one should apparently not use a milky cleanser with these extensions. I found their Proderm cleanser smelled nice but it leaves the skin feeling tight even when I used only a pea size amount. I went in to the spa 2 days later to show Estelle the loss of lashes and she said that was a normal shedding and refused to "fix" the situation. I actually have saved them! Many little tuffs. I got a call today, a mere two weeks later saying they had cancelled my "fill" appointment (a fill is $100 and is required every three weeks apparently). In a message I was told I had to rebook a "FULL" eyelash extension session because more than half fell out by two days after the work. This is the worse service I have ever had at a spa and I am definitely never going back and never recommending this place to anyone! read more
