They really find your problem areas and pay specific attention to them. I've had chronic neck and shoulder pain from a car accident and nothing helps except going to get a massage here. They do a full body massage and also stretch you and everything they do is so amazing. I come here every time I am home because there is NO place that does massages as well as they do.

They said this is so they can stay on track and get more people in(at least they were honest). So they say 5 to 7 1/2 min before and after is to get dressed undressed. I've have probably close to 100 massages at many places this is the only place that you don't get what is advertised. Everywhere else I've been a 60 minute massage last 60 minutes and a 90 last 90. Although massage was great I probably will not return as I'd rather get my money's worth at a spa that truly gives 60/90 min massages massages.

Ultimately though, professionalism and a regard for customers is more important to me than how my hair turns out. I can go anywhere and get good roots...my most recent experience sort of dulls down my entire impression of the salon. I had called to book an early appointment for this morning (a Saturday) so that I could get in and get out to make it to a family event. They said they could come in an hour early (8am instead of 9am) and do my hair and I was ecstatic they would do that! Apparently something went awry on their end as they didn't think that it was set-in-stone even though I said "yes, I want that appointment time." Push comes to shove, I ended up waiting around for an hour and a half until the stylist got to me. No apology, no regard for my time. The hair looks okay, it does the job, but the disregard for my time as a customer after I specifically asked for an early appointment to AVOID a mess like this is what really irks me. The perky manager then goes to charge me full price. I had to ask if there was anything that could be done to compensate for waiting around for an hour and a half and being extremely late to my family event and she "willingly" gives 20% (how sweet, right)....I shouldn't have had to bring it up, it should have been offered. After this mess and me feeling like I waisted a morning and my money I will not be returning. Bummer.

I went to use the restroom and then sat in the waiting area for a minute or so, until LaRina came to get me. In the past for massages I've laid on my belly but I can't do that since I'm pregnant, so they had me lay on my side with a maternity-esque pillow on my legs. The massage as a whole was relaxing, but when I had to turn on my other side, I felt like I was slipping off the massage table a bit, even though I adjusted myself a few times. I'm not sure how much the massage was, since mine was a gift, but I think it was about $100-120, for one hour, although mine ran about 55 minutes. However, I know in the past MassageLuxe has had Groupons and other deals, so I would check those as well.
