She was personable, questioning me about the process all along. She altered her pressure on request, as she learned how much I could take. Her overall technique was very good, and I very much liked the combination of traditional massage techniques tied with Thai stretching/range of motion work. There were a few scheduling misfires but she communicated amazingly and finally I was able to get in. Right away, she put me at ease. I felt safe and comfortable which I wasn't sure I would given it was something very new. The new location was a smidge confusing, but so long as you go to the suite listed on her site you'll be in good shape. Very calm and relaxed atmosphere. It's in a business building so you'd think you'd hear all kinds of noise, but I didn't. You step in the door and sort of step away from all the hubbub of the outside world. The massage itself was amazing. I don't have a benchmark to compare but I'm sticking with amazing. I was able to relax and just trust her - which is half the treat. She found muscles that were sore that I hadn't even realized were sore - I had just gotten used to it over time. This might have been my first massage, but it won't be the last. If you want to try one out in a safe, comfortable environment I cannot recommend this enough.

I can go anywhere and get good roots...my most recent experience sort of dulls down my entire impression of the salon. I had called to book an early appointment for this morning (a Saturday) so that I could get in and get out to make it to a family event. They said they could come in an hour early (8am instead of 9am) and do my hair and I was ecstatic they would do that! Apparently something went awry on their end as they didn't think that it was set-in-stone even though I said "yes, I want that appointment time." Push comes to shove, I ended up waiting around for an hour and a half until the stylist got to me. No apology, no regard for my time. The hair looks okay, it does the job, but the disregard for my time as a customer after I specifically asked for an early appointment to AVOID a mess like this is what really irks me. The perky manager then goes to charge me full price. I had to ask if there was anything that could be done to compensate for waiting around for an hour and a half and being extremely late to my family event and she "willingly" gives 20% (how sweet, right)....I shouldn't have had to bring it up, it should have been offered. After this mess and me feeling like I waisted a morning and my money I will not be returning. Bummer.

They said this is so they can stay on track and get more people in(at least they were honest). So they say 5 to 7 1/2 min before and after is to get dressed undressed. I've have probably close to 100 massages at many places this is the only place that you don't get what is advertised. Everywhere else I've been a 60 minute massage last 60 minutes and a 90 last 90. Although massage was great I probably will not return as I'd rather get my money's worth at a spa that truly gives 60/90 min massages massages.
