I had an awesome massage from Kaia! I arrived a little early and there was an intake form and a chair outside the door to work on while she was finishing up from the previous massage, so I was ready to go when my appt started and I thought that was a good idea. She was very good though, and they had a groupon that made it a really good deal... I parked on the side and the door was locked - it said if it was locked to ring the bell, but I waited and still no one answered. I eventually went around to the front and the door was open, and their suite is actually just inside the front door. So probably just go to the front door haha. read more

Would give this place 0 stars if I could. My husband bought a Groupon for Serenity Touch Massage for my birthday. On the day of the appointment, something came up and we asked them 5 hours beforehand if we can reschedule. They responded by saying they'll have to check with their manager... and never got back to us. So, we ended up just driving to the appointment since there was no clear answer if we can reschedule. They ended up saying the Groupon was redeemed and no one is there anymore since they had thought we were canceling our appointment. We tried calling them and they did not answer their phone. We checked on Groupon that they did indeed redeem it when we did not even use it. Super unprofessional and extremely disappointing. I'm not sure which other business would redeem a coupon that was never used and just assume we canceled and leave early for the day...!!!!! Don't bother coming here! The technician- Tracy - did a fantastic job in providing services for a first timer who keeps coming back for more. The back massage was so good I didn't realize I needed it that bad. Amanda is my go-to massage therapist here. She is strong, well educated in her field, passionate about what she does. I initially came in with a Groupon for a craniosacral massage. I had no idea what I was in for, and Amanda had the foresight to talk to me about it before I went back. We decided upon a deep tissue instead. She has no problem going as deep as I need (which I always thought is super ultra deep, but she says is only her medium! This lady is tough!) and sends me home with "stretching homework" to help make sure I don't undo everything we accomplished during the session. She can accommodate my wacky work hours too with later night appointments than most. Highly, highly recommended! read more

Yes, external noise dampening over the windows would add to the ambiance... Yes, Southfield Rd might not have been my 1st choice... But the HANDS met and SUCCEEDED beyond these challenges. This was a gift from my son to relax before my state board exams. This was my first massage in 5 years. I had the Swedish Massage, and it was awesome. The hands are truly touched! Everyone should make this a top priority and add into their budget for optimal health and overall well-being. This pointed out what I already knew - I was stressed out physically in my body. I had a one hour massage here recently. First : the pros: clean facility. fairly quiet (although a lot of traffic noise from Southfield Road.) Masseuse was friendly . Good price. The cons: I started my massage face down (per usual), and ..... the time was up without moving to my back to complete the massage. For my birthday I decided to treat myself to a massage. A friend referred me to Serenity Touch. I live two minutes away and pass by their location quite often but never knew what type of businesses were in the office building. I set up my appointment online, fairly easy to do. My appointment was with Treacy. I arrived a few minutes early and waited outside til they were ready to open. Once inside, the place was dimly lit with soft melodies and fresh aroma filling the room. Now to the massage! Treacy was the most pleasant, professional and personable massage therapist I've ever encountered. She asked questions to make sure I was comfortable and relaxed. I couldn't ask for a better experience. After my session I told her I would like to bring my husband next time. I mentioned he was a big guy, she said no worries he'll be just fine and I believe her. A hidden gem in lathrup village. I had the liberty of getting a groupon for them. I just wanted to try them out because working from home can leave one a bit stressed. Upon entering the establishment you're hit with a calming aura. I also added the aromatherapy to my groupon (which was extra) but I was fine with it just to relive months of stress was fine, and that's exactly what happened. Months of stressed disappeared. Sounds like this place doesn't run professional at all and I need a professional massage. So with no return call as of yet today I have returned my Groupons and found a better place, that actually took my call and got me booked :) Stay away if you are looking for a real company, this may just be a scam. read more

The answer message indicated I should go online to schedule an appointment. As I had never been there I had a couple of questions about individuals and types of massages. I did not receive a call back so I went online to schedule an appointment - not knowing who or what type of massage. Tried several date - responded unavailable. FINALLY found a date and a person - WHAT REALLY CHEESED ME OFF is I had to enter all my personal information as well as a credit card number. I have never in my life had to use a credit card and all personal information to secure an appointment nor do most places offering this type of service FORCE you to schedule online.
