I told her politely that I would like to check in for my appointment. She then asked me rudely in if I ticked my name off the checklist by the front door that is hiding in the closet like I was incompetent for not seeing it. I check my name off and sat down. Not even a minute later she calls my name to come back up and asks if I had an apt? I said yes. She looks at me once again and rudely says to me why are you here??? Wow!!! Needless to say she was very rude and demeaning, however the woman who toke my blood was very pleasant and friendly and did a great job at taking my blood and making me feel comfortable.

Today was particularly bad. To the Chinese lady on the front desk today 16th Feb at around 12.30pm, you can rest assured that I am going to call about you spoke to me and rude you were. That way of acting as if I was saying something strange was absurd - if you don't understand, you can ask me politely to repeat it, rather than cocking your head and saying What? what! Really really acceptable plus the whole thing of not accepting what I was saying. There must be some management that can enforce some sort of change in the level of manners there.

Generally a good experience with a facet injection in my lower spine. The doctor did it so well and…read moresmoothly that I didn't realize it was done until he walked away and a nurse said I could get up. No pain or even a pinch! It took about 2-5 minutes once I laid down, and I think I was in the facility for 15-20 minutes total...most of that AFTER the injection while we waited to see if I was okay. The only reason I don't give more stars is that I didn't know what to expect from the shot (1 star). Didn't know how long it would take to kick in. What to look for as it worked or didn't work. And what to do next depending on whether it worked or not. And the doctor who did the injection said he could do 2 more facets and likely give me more relief...if I wanted. I said "sure!" But as far as me or my doctor are aware, he didn't do those. He stuck with the referral to do only one...and likely his suggestion was just part of the banter. (1 star). In hindsight, one more would've been nice. I normally would've double checked everything myself but due to the pain I wasn't really in the right headspace.

I made a very time sensitive and out-of-pocket appointment at CDC Chinook but was contacted a few…read moredays later saying I would have to be rescheduled as there was no available technician for that day. I was re-booked for the following week but was again contacted a few days later saying that the doctor (no longer a technician?) was not available and I would have to be rescheduled in a few weeks. It is unclear how so many people at that office are unable to figure out who performs what imaging and when they're available. CDC has added considerable stress to an already stressful situation and I'm disappointed that they are following in AHS' footsteps where client care is concerned. I'll be engaging Mayfair for my screening instead.

I have had a monthly standing order for bloodwork for the better part of 20 years. For reasons I cant explain, today is the first time I tried booking an appointment for bloodwork. Typically, I make a spontaneous decision to get my blood taken, and then I wait forever in a crowded waiting room. The reason I chose South Calgary for this appointment booking is because I had a fasting blood appointment, and the only thing standing betweeb myself and breakfast is this bloodwork being completed. Also, i am getting this done before work, so I am imvested in having this done quickly so I can get into the office. When i walked in, there was no grabbing a number. I walked up to the counter and they took my requisitions right away. The wait from there was another 15 minutes to be called. However, I am not complaining, because it is typically much, much longer. South Calgary has a lot of staff, which is fantastic! I was processed quickly and they were constantly processing patients.

If you are Asian you will be last always if you are white even if you just came they will call you in right after you get check in. The Nurses descriminate patients according to your skin color. What a poor thing we have now a days in the healthcare industry. staff only there to earn hours and get a pay check. Over all Its not a good service they have. Took three month to get an Ultra sound appointment to have my hands done…read more Got an appointment at Wosler Diagnostic in less than a week. My hands are so sore, I can hardly hold a spoon? Happy to had a Physician friend recommend Wosler! Mayfair has a lousy booking system with zero respect for the patients time. Holding for ten minutes and than switched to a call back system!

Two days before my exam, the booking coordinator refused to do both so I either did my appendix or my women's routine Exam. Ended up cancelling as she even changed my location further without notifying me or asking me. How hard is it to do both at the same time? No wonder why our health care system is the way it is. Now, if something happens with my health it will be on Canadá diagnostics as they refused to do my prescribed women routine one.

Dr. Cory Taylor, my apologies for not listening to you and going to emergency immediately as you recommended. I went the next morning because my doctor yelled at me, and I'm glad because that propelled me to move. And in time. Even tho I spent more than 6 hours waiting in the emergency room, once it was determined my appendix was leaking, the surgeon and his team moved forward and surgery took place. Dr. Taylor, as you may have seen on my health records, I am a cancer patient, I have had so many ultrasounds and ct scans over the last 5 years, I think my body rebelled at having to be subjected once again.
