Woo, a technician from action glass came in and fixed the cracked bedroom window by replacing it with new window. He was knowledgeable about the kind of frame and fixed the twisted frame. He was honest to tell me that original weatherproofing is in good condition and does not need replacement. He filled the gaps in the door as well. He was nice, easy to communicate, honest and did a good job. Would recommend him!

I was having a problem with my patio sliding door due to some busted rollers. I phoned around, and…read moreone glass company said they could not help me because I did not have an account with them. A second company told me that they only did garage doors. I contacted Action Glass in Coquitlam and spoke with Mike. He listened to my concern, assessed the situation, made a couple of recommendations to address the busted rollers and possibly a worn out tract, provided me with a reasonable quote, and scheduled a technician to come and repair the sliding door. Less than a week later, Chris, Action Glass Technician, came to fix the problem. He explained to me the remedial process and even showed me the defective parts he would replace. It felt good because Chris was transparent and trustworthy. He only replaced the busted rollers and did not change the tract because it was still in good working condition. The final bill I paid was 1/3 less than the initial quote. The following day I phoned Action Glass and had a conversation with Arlene. I expressed my appreciation for the work that Chris provided, and for his friendliness and professionalism. A few hours later, I received an email from Leanne Roth, Business Development Manager, thanking me for the feedback I shared about Chris. A week later, a written thank you card and a Starbucks gift card arrived in the mail from Leanne. It was such a pleasant experience dealing with the Action Glass Team from the beginning to the end of the transaction. Their whole crew was excellent! You hardly see this kind of strategic customer engagement anymore from a lot of the companies out there. From hereon, every time I have a glass concern, Action Glass would be the first one I would call again.

Would not recommend for your web design project. None of the deadlines were met, the website was…read morelaunched a week later and was not near where we wanted it. The project management was very disorganized the whole time (about a three month period) and it was started two weeks late with no communication to us. There were quite a few red flags such as employees would disappear and new people would be brought in or swapped around? Communication was quite unprofessional, our questions weren't answered in full and the emails back contained emojis and comments which seemed inappropriate. They also only seemed to look at our current backend about a week before launch, which caused further delays. The entire project created much more work for our team, while we were paying them for this service, so it was all a big head ache. We had to completely start over with a new company unfortunately.

When we had to suddenly empty my late mother-in-law's large, overstuffed storage room, Big Steel…read moreBox came to the rescue. When we phoned, we got a real human who was decent, knowledgeable and helpful. The cost of their largest container was 1/5 the monthly rent at the storage facility even though it held the same amount of stuff. Our container was promptly delivered. I was clean with a dark wood laminate floor. We had the option of keeping it in our yard or having it carted away to be stored in their yard in the lower mainland, where we could request it be made available on fairly short notice. We chose to keep in our yard. In either case, you use your own lock. We used it for 5 years. It kept everything clean, bug-free and rodent-free (We have a lot of rats in Steveston.) The mice had been into the storage facility we used earlier, making a bit of a mess. (Also, rodent urine and droppings, once dry can put bacteria humans can catch into the air, so best avoided.) When it came time to empty the container, a quick call to an equally pleasant Big Steel Box representative meant it was picked up when we wanted it gone. Since you pay for delivery and pick-up when you first order it, there were absolutely no added costs. An ethical company that does what it says it will. Highly recommend for moving, short term or long term storage. To me, if you don't need fast, regular access to your goods, having them store your container is a great alternative to a storage facility. Would definitely use them again.

Container was delivered without me present & placed facing the wrong direction. Big Steel Box has refused to be accountable & will only turn the container 90degrees if I pay them another $120 delivery fee to fix their mistake. I WOULD NEVER recommend Big Steel Box.
