My bedroom window was crack and there were 3 holes in the living room door from where the cold air was coming in. Woo, a technician from action glass came in and fixed the cracked bedroom window by replacing it with new window. He was knowledgeable about the kind of frame and fixed the twisted frame. He was honest to tell me that original weatherproofing is in good condition and does not need replacement. He filled the gaps in the door as well. I was having a problem with my patio sliding door due to some busted rollers. I phoned around, and one glass company said they could not help me because I did not have an account with them. A second company told me that they only did garage doors. I contacted Action Glass in Coquitlam and spoke with Mike. He listened to my concern, assessed the situation, made a couple of recommendations to address the busted rollers and possibly a worn out tract, provided me with a reasonable quote, and scheduled a technician to come and repair the sliding door. Less than a week later, Chris, Action Glass Technician, came to fix the problem. He explained to me the remedial process and even showed me the defective parts he would replace. It felt good because Chris was transparent and trustworthy. He only replaced the busted rollers and did not change the tract because it was still in good working condition. The final bill I paid was 1/3 less than the initial quote. The following day I phoned Action Glass and had a conversation with Arlene. I expressed my appreciation for the work that Chris provided, and for his friendliness and professionalism. A few hours later, I received an email from Leanne Roth, Business Development Manager, thanking me for the feedback I shared about Chris. A week later, a written thank you card and a Starbucks gift card arrived in the mail from Leanne. It was such a pleasant experience dealing with the Action Glass Team from the beginning to the end of the transaction. Their whole crew was excellent! I was the victim of a smash-and-grab over night, and needed to have my car window fixed ASAP. I phoned Action Glass at 9, and they were able to fit me in at noon the same day. The finish time was pushed back by about two hours, but they were very good about phoning me about it and keeping me up to date. I could say they made it look like nothing even happened, but actually it was better than before, because not only did they fix the window, they got all the broken glass off the floor, from between the seat cushions, everywhere, and it looked (and smelled) like they gave the back seat area a detailing. This company uses Handicap permits to park in Handicap spots while they work taking away a parking spot from a true Handicap person. I called them and spoke to Brandon(a supervisor) and he said it was company policy. Taking away a Handicap parking spot to fix a piece of glass is just wrong. They quoted me 6 months ago. Since that time the window quoted was no longer available. They honoured the quote and upgraded my glass. I was super impressed. They did a mobile service at my work. I didn't actually even get to meet them. They picked up my car keys from the front desk and returned them when they were done. I would highly recommend them. Our company needed a window replaced as part of a WCB situation. I have been dealing for the past week and a half with an awesome lady by the name of Paula who went above and beyond her expectations. In fact the whole company did. They went to job site and they did an estimate first. Here is where they fell flat with me. They misquoted our initial order and then offered to order something completely different which is was more expensive. In other words, we felt that it was a bait and switch situation.
