I needed not only an eco-friendly designer, but one that understood that I am also vegan, so the materials sourced were extremely important to me. While also of course, creating an incredible and beautiful space that was comfortable for all members of our family. Kimberly laid out a fantastic plan, understood my taste and was also able to speak and connect with my husband about cost in a way that not only eased his mind about the projects, but really brought him on board to the point that he was championing the projects and really excited about them as well. Every day my husband comes home and says, "I love our home. Thank You for hiring Kimberly. I now understand what you both were doing to make this house ours." It doesn't get any better than that! Kimberly helped make our house into a stunning home. We will continue to work with Kimberly on future projects. She is also gifted with landcaping as well. Our next phase is to redo our front and back yard. I highly recommend Kimberly Rider. She is knowledgeable, has a fabulous design aesthetic, and she is wonderful, just wonderful to work with on interior design projects. I have to say, she encourages your input and feedback, so she can understand your design aesthetic. Throughout the process, she would always say to me, "We are designing for you. I want you to love it. If you don't love it, let me know. And it's okay if we disagree. I want to find pieces that you absolutely love and are going to make you feel good in your home." She can find virtually anything! She has an incredible work ethic as well. Often times when you embark on a big project, such as ours, you really become close to with your designer. I learned so much throughout the process and really appreciated the time and hard work behind the scenes as well, that go into interior design. She is very good about respecting your budget and how to make it work. She is able to also really help prioritize projects as well. Thank you for all that you have done for us, Kimberly! We love you and your beautiful work and we will continue to utilize your services!

THIS REVIEW IS LONG OVERDUE! I SECOND WHAT DIANNE HAD SAID PREVIOUSLY!!! Manuela was a huge…read moredisappointment for us. We hired her twice--once for a project on a new property we bought and again for our family home. The first project was left unfinished because we had to put it on hold, but the second project ended with us feeling legally scammed. During the second project, it became apparent how sneaky and unprofessional she can be. Manuela made multiple trips to the SF Planning Department, which could have been avoided if she had known her limits as an interior designer. Her incompetence in handling tasks beyond her scope ended up costing us more money and time. Our biggest issue arose when she padded the bill for designing a backyard deck, charging us for "talking" to the structural engineer--who was the one actually doing the work! We ended up paying her and the engineer, which was completely unnecessary. The extra fees were frustrating and felt like a dishonest money grab. In my opinion, if you're considering hiring Manuela for any design work, especially something like drawing floor plans or managing a project, RUN. Her business practices are far from transparent. She has a way of dragging out the process, inflating billable hours, and adding unnecessary costs. Unless you want to babysit every move she makes or deal with padded invoices, I would strongly recommend finding someone else. I wish we had done so sooner. UPDATE (10/22/2024) It's no surprise that Manuela will likely respond to any negative feedback. While this review is about her, she would somehow try to shift the focus onto me, even though my business has nothing to do with her. She is going as far as spreading false information about me, her client, which is truly a shame, especially since I've given her tens of thousands of dollars in business. It's disappointing to witness how unprofessional she can be toward her own clients. I also want to mention that she went to great lengths to stalk me, both online and in person. She even admitted to the judge that she had been stalking me at one of my other properties for several weeks. If she has that much time to stalk people, it raises questions about how much time she spends on her work, and it makes you wonder if she even has clients. It also speaks volumes about her character when she fabricates things about others just to make herself look better. I'm simply providing an honest review, while she's trying to portray me as dishonest--that's all there is to it. The only reason she won in small claims court was that the judgment was about payment, not her business practices, which the judge did not consider. This outcome effectively means the judge agreed with her contract, not with how she conducts her business. Of course, I could sue her for her unethical practices, but frankly, I have much better things to do than dwell on an unprofessional designer. I strongly urge anyone considering working with her to carefully review the contract beforehand. She's definitely one of the worst "professionals" I've ever dealt with, and if things don't go her way, she'll go to extreme lengths to try making your life miserable!

She is easy and fun and pours everything into her projects and relationships. We had such a hard time working with our contractor on our reno, and I was so grateful for all of my time and back and forth with Corine because she, by contrast, was a dream. I honestly don't understand how any human can be so good at paint colors. What on planet earth is harder than paint colors!!?! Corine has this incredible talent for it -- she would flip through a deck (nay, decks!) and immediately narrow down to a few choices and then every single time for us, the perfect color was in there. One of my favorite things about how our renovation turned out and the thing I got the most compliments on is our paint colors. It's super clear that Corine loves design and something really cool about her is she wants her clients to have exactly what they want. Her tastes aside (she beautiful taste, obviously), she's just not one of those designers who only has one look/one vibe. She can deliver on anything and make it look amazing. I would work her again a million times over and had to come and leave a review. If your hesitant about working with a designer (as I was) give Corine a try and thank me later haha

To say we would use her team in the future is an absolute guarantee. When doing our research on designers, we knew we needed someone who was confident in their design aesthetic but flexible with ours, mindful but creative with budget considerations, and a brand/company who was passionate, professional, and hands-on - this IS CM Natural Designs. From the moment we decided to move forward, Corine and her team were ready and available to answer all of our logistical/design questions - they were professional, worked with our deadlines, SUPER organized, and the attention to detail was always evident in everything she and her team did. For our master bathroom, she helped us envision the look and feel and manipulated the space/design to reflect that. We wanted ours to be a complete juxtaposition between masculine (industrial look and feel of bathroom hardware and shower door) and feminine design elements (brushed gold details/decorative lighting). To say this was accomplished would be an understatement. We LOVE our bathrooms. The whole experience with CM Natural Designs, from start to finish, was as effortless as any renovation could possibly be. As there are ALWAYS bumps in the process of any renovation (i.e. contractor issues, unexpected costs, ect.), Corine and her team took ownership of our project and handled it with poise and professionalism from start to finish. We will absolutely use her team in the future and cannot recommend her company enough.

She helped us…read moredesign and select pieces for my bar, showroom, and home, and everything turned out beautifully. Her eye for color, tile layout, and overall design flow is truly impressive. What really sets Catrina apart is how easy and enjoyable she is to work with. She's friendly, professional, and takes the time to walk you through the process so nothing ever feels overwhelming. If you're looking for a designer who combines creativity, expertise, and a personal touch, I highly recommend LOCZI Design!

The short and sweet of it all: First, you're going to love…read moreyour "new" home! Second, Loczi will know what you want, maybe even better than you do. Third, you're going to have lots of fun, and you'll be sad when Loczi leaves. Fourth, your contractor and subcontractors will make you happy, or Loczi will help you find ones that will. Fifth, Loczi provides value well beyond traditional interior design. Sixth, when they are done your biggest challenge will be deciding which room is your favorite. We kid you not! Some details: Loczi performed a substantial interior design project for us. We knew we needed a good design team, but we'd never worked with one before. We had many trepidations as we evaluated a wide range of designers and their websites. We started our Loczi interaction with a long discussion with Mike. He listened intently to our perspectives and needs. In our first example of Loczi's great intuition, Mike proposed a business approach that fit us perfectly. Subsequently, Mike and Diana went through each room with us and discussed our thoughts on the scope of work. We were impressed not only their creativity but also by their careful note taking. We signed a contract right away. Ironically as it would turn out, Mike proposed one idea that I really didn't like. But the more I thought about his idea, the more I realized it really fit our needs. In our "new house" designed by Loczi, almost every room feels like our favorite room, but Mike's idea made our dining room not only my most favorite, but also our most effective use of space. Diana is an amazing designer. Mike, Catrina and Paige were behind the scenes reviewing the project and helping her whenever she needed them. Its one example of how Loczi's business processes are as advanced as their designs. They have a continuous improvement and customer satisfaction mindset that is refreshing in today's high stress world. If there's a problem, they get it fixed quickly. Loczi's designs are exemplary. When they tell you they can do some amazing things with paint, believe it. They have a "secret" technique for revealing a client's color preferences (sry I won't tell). We love how our interior and exterior are painted! They even came up with a perspective design in our stairwell that transformed our open plan stairwell into a special space. Collaborating with Loczi is easy, fun, and effective. They'll make Pinterest easy for you. Their mood boards are beautiful and they provide great choices. Our interactions with Diana were everything we hoped. Diana can whip out an elevation or drawing so you can visualize the design. If something didn't feel right or didn't fit our budget, alternatives came quickly and addressed our concerns. And if we ever wanted to understand the "why" of the design, Diana explained it so we understood and would be confident in our choice. One particular challenge we had was our primary bathroom. Originally built in 1985 and partially remodeled in 2009 without a designer, it was a mishmash of materials that didn't fit together very well. However, we didn't want to incur the expense of redoing the stone shower and separate tile bathtub. Loczi went to work and made the disparate materials look like they were intentional and the room was converted from a disappointment to fun loving space! And, Loczi can do much more. Diana designed a crucial piece of furniture for us that is beautiful and comfortable. When we couldn't find a rug to fit a special design need, Diana also designed the rug that did. Diana even prepared a guide for us so that if we needed to do something ourselves, we would know what colors and textures would work best in each room. We've used it for house plants and pots, pillows and throws, accessories, etc. Loczi knows some great subcontractors. Their custom window covering contractor was excellent. We not only have beautiful window coverings in our bedroom, but we no longer have light leaking in and waking us up. Specialty services like hanging art, reupholstering furniture, and window films become fun projects instead of time-consuming diversions. Their window film expert convinced us not to use his window film but instead use a sheer window covering provided by another contractor. And if you find your own subcontractor, don't be surprised to find out that they know who Loczi is and that they want to make both you and Loczi happy. Your general contractor also will see the value to their business in making Loczi happy. We had a painter who wasn't performing. Loczi found us another painter who performed better and cost less, and also smoothed the way with the general contractor. A remodel can be a tough project to undertake. When you use Loczi, you know you have a team of people that always has your back and your best interests in mind.

After talking to a few different firms, Kanika Design just felt like the right fit. Kanika really listened to what we wanted. I've always been a bit nervous about using bold colors, but she pushed us (in a good way!) for a deeper color palette in the main living areas. It looks incredible. Kanika found us so many unique, high-quality furniture pieces that you just won't find at a big-box store. The biggest thing for us was logistics. Once the design process completed, their team handled everything - architectural, permit headache, and construction. Anyone who has done a remodel knows things never go 100% perfectly, but whenever an issue popped up, they were on top of it immediately. They kept the contractors moving and kept us updated on the budget and what was happening next. It's a relief to finally be done after 2 years and have a home that feels like us but way better. I can't recommend Kanika and her team enough. We're still obsessed with how everything turned out.
