Buyer beware! Upon entering the store for my appointment the receptionist greeted me and then went over my patient financial responsibiliy for the exam and coverage for eyeglasses from my insurance company. All the information they provided me with was incorrect and told me if I did not pay upfront for the visit I would not be seen. I was severely disappointed with their lack of professionalism and demeanor that I escalated to the manager of the store jack. He took over my encounter and initially incorrectly verified my insurance benefits too until I called my insurance company right there in the store and had them tell him the precise coverage without any out of pocket expenses for me the patient. i was finally taken back and examined and the doctor part was fine. I picked out new prescription sunglasses that were promised to me in a timely matter because I was leaving town for 3 months. I was never contacted and never received the glasses because their laboratory filled the prescription incorrectly more than once According to jack the manager. Finally I get a phone call yesterday from one of their underlings telling me my glasses were ready to be picked up I told her that her manager James would overnight ship them to me because of the various mishaps in this transaction. She was very rude to me ,condescending and told me that I was only using them for my annual benefit from my insurance company. Her name is Emmy. My whole patient store encounter was appalling And at this moment I still don't have my glasses. read more

I don't know what happened to this place over the last 3 years but it has become a joke. This was my go to optometrist and point if purchase for new frames I would actually drive 35 mins out of my way to go to this particular location. Last couple of years though it has become progressively worse, from customer service to order placement and just overall organizational business skills. There is probably one competent sales associate in this store the others simply act & look like there disinterested. All I can really say about this place in the end is I'm done with it, my last experience sealed the deal took over a month for them to order me the wrong frames and another week for them to figure out I payed for prescription lenses as well. The best experience I have ever had a an optimist! Extremely friendly and helpful spent 25 on hold with me to find out about my insurance that changed and what it would cost me. They have a machine that doesn't require my eyes to be dilated and then the doc spent time with me to go over the map of my eyes and show me what he sees. I have to say that I have been coming to this optometrist for a while now at least 3 to 4 years maybe longer. Prior to that I believe it was owned by someone else. The new optometrist I think is terrific!! He is smart, attentive, and has a ton of information about my eyes. The staff is fabulous as well. Not only do I go there, but my children go there and my ex does too. His experience is similar. Each time I go there I watch them trying to improve their business. I went in yesterday afternoon to get glasses for my daughter who lost hers. I did not want to spend a lot of money, turns out I didn't have to. Her glasses were ready in less than an hour. While I didn't see the optometrist this visit, I did work with one of his staff members who was incredibly patient with both my daughter and myself. had a very bad experience a couple years ago with this vendor and would never recommend. they sent my son home TWICE with incorrect prescription - he literally could not tolerate wearing them for even a few seconds. Although he reported the problem immediately, they encouraged him to "try to get used to them". slight improvement on the second attempt, and they finally got it right on the third attempt. They also got my prescription wrong - instead of the progressive lenses i paid for, they gave me reading glasses. back to the lab they went. the doctors were very nice, seemed very competent, and the staff were actually very nice. However, the staff were utterly incompetent, in my view... it should not be so difficult to obtain a pair of prescription lenses in this day and age. The selection is nice. read more

It's easy to set up an appointment (Saturday eye exam gets somewhat challenging as doctor does not work all Saturdays), customer service is good, they work with insurance and their selection of frames is good and prices are reasonable. read more
