I absolutely love this place! Not only is the store absolutely beautiful, but the staff there is so friendly. The manager, Mohiba, is always so helpful and patient even when the phone is ringing off the hook. I have never seen her upset or angry and she is always welcoming to those who walk through the door. Dr. K is wonderful and always full of smiles. I have never walked out of there in a bad mood and really appreciate the service Dr. K and her employee's give to their patients. I highly recommend this establishment for so many reasons. I will start by saying that I look forward to my visits.. Dr. Khayatan makes things easy breezy all the while explaining every single detail as she works. They have recently welcomed a new Dr. into the practice and with my schedule, it turned out my exam was performed by her. Her name is Dr, Flemming and I Il admit that I was apprehensive because I adore Dr Khayatan, however I was quickly put at ease after one minute into my appt. Again, easy breezy and dare I say fun? ok thats already so much to love, right? WELL, enter Alyna. She knows her stuff. So helpful, fashionable and knowledgable on frames, shapes and faces. She is also welcoming and fun to work with. My one and only regret would be that I want everything in sight in there... lol omg the inventory is amazing........... Thanks ladies! I rarely write reviews and definitely not a second review for the same practice/business. But, this one time, I think that an exception is well deserved. A couple of weeks ago, I finally got around to seeing Dr. Khayatan for what seemed like fuzzy strings and dots floating in one of my eyes. After an extensive exam, she told me that I had a retinal tear in the eye, and that it should be treated immediately. Afterwards she personally made the phone call to make an emergency appointment for me with an ophthalmologist. Within the hour after leaving her office, I received laser treatment for the retinal tear. BTW, the ophthalmologist (Dr. Rofagha) was excellent. On my way home, Dr. Khayatan called to follow up on how I fared through the treatment. When I got home, after having spent several hours getting my eye examined and treated, it finally sunk in that Dr. Khyatan saved my eyesight. Retinal tear can lead to retinal detachment which can result in blindness of the affected eye. In sum, I'm grateful to Dr. Khyatan for her personal professionalism and, of course, saving my eyesight. read more

I have never reviewed on Yelp before, but I am making a point to do so to support Visual Expressions. I entered today as a first time patient. I typically hate going to any type of medical office as I tend to wait for the doctor, even when I arrive on time for my appointment. As I was checking in, I simply stated to the receptionist, Tiffany, that I was in a time-crunch and, in turn, the entire staff catered to my rushed schedule, even Dr. Khayatan! It was so refreshing to see an entire medical office care about its patient's schedule. Many healthcare providers I have interacted with fail to recognize patients as their clients; however, I was made to feel like the most valued individual in Dr. Khayatan's office. It's been more than 10 years that we have seen Dr. Khayatan and my whole family love her. She is always very friendly, kind and professional. She is very knowledgeable and uses the latest technology. My kids love to go to her office. Going to the ophthalmologist is a treat now! She never rushes in the visits and takes as long as needed to give us the best care. Last month, while gardening , I got injured when a rose branch scratched my eye. I called the office and they got me in right away and took the best care of my eye. And I was between jobs so I lost my insurance . She didn't care about payment. She only wanted to take care of my eye. Later, I learned that without immediate care, my vision would have been blurry for a long time. That explains how much she cares about her patients. Tiffany , the office manager, is amazing. She is extremely friendly, and caring. She always accommodate us with a smile. She is very patient and let us try as many glasses as we like to. Great selection of glasses. Now we are obsessed with their glasses. Tiffany always help us get the right pair of glass and if we can't find something in the office, she offers to order whatever we like. So a year after some pretty terrible service at Visual Expressions, I am finally logging on to write a review. I was prompted by the wonderful experience I had this week at another eye doctor and now feel especially compelled to write this. Like Alexis M. and James F. before me, I also had issues with both lenses (prescription sunglasses to be exact) and billing, AS WELL AS a bogus "concern" expressed about the health of my left eye. I don't want to go so far as to call the doctor and staff scam artists, but after reading the reviews of others, something is definitely wrong here. All I came away with from Visual Expressions: 1) very expensive prescription Gucci sunglasses that I can't even wear, 2) ongoing anger over being overcharged for both the sunglasses and services rendered, and 3) a year of worrying that I might have early signs of glaucoma in my left eye. Fortunately, I have now found a more reliable, thorough, and caring eye doctor and have been relieved of the concern that I might be developing glaucoma. read more

It was my first time visiting Visual Expressions and the best experience I have had. I had the exam with Dr. Mei Fleming. Besides being so professional at what she does, she is just the most friendly and sweetest person. Office Manager Tiffany is also such a pro. She knew exacly which frame would look good on me, and because she has such good taste too, she helped me pick exactly the right colors for my frame. Once I got my new glasses, she also showed that she has a magic touch in adjusting the glasses so they sit perfectly on my nose. Stephanie at the front desk is also the sweetest girl. I lost count of how many different frames she took out of the cabinet to show me and let me try on, and she impressed me with her knowledge of different brands and different lines. I just had such a great time at this office, and I will be bringing my husband and kids and friends to get exams and glasses/sunglasses there!!! read more
