My first appointment was August 13, 2024. Soon after, I received a bill. Upon reviewing the bill, I realized that they had charged me twice, for an amount of $1949.00, for surgery. AGAIN, THIS WAS MY FIRST VISIT. After calling NUMEROUS TIMES (at least 10), I was able to speak with someone. I told her that I had been charged, two times, for a procedure/surgery that I didn't receive. This woman asks me, "Are you sure you didn't have surgery"? I reminded her that it had been my first visit. She said she'd handle it. I feel like it is also important to note that on top of the $3898.00 for surgeries that never happened, I was also charged $294 for x-rays and another $1463.00 for a new patient visit. So, this was not a cheap visit; even without the charge for the surgeries. A few weeks later, I get another bill. I believe it was for the EXACT AMOUNT of the previous bill. This time, instead of charging me twice for surgery, they replaced it with a billing code of 28470 (Treat Metatarsal Fracture), for the EXACT SAME AMOUNT THAT I'D BEEN CHARGED FOR SURGERY. Again, I was charged this amount TWICE. I did some research, and I don't believe that this is correct. So, I called the 855 number, for billing, listed at the bottom of the bill. I really don't believe this call center is in the United States. There was a huge language barrier, and I've spoken to several people here, and they know as much about billing as I do. I believe I spoke with three different people in this call center. I ended up wasting about an hour. Eventually, I started calling the office again. I've had to call them NO LESS THAN EIGHT TIMES. This is a low-ball estimate, because I don't want to exaggerate. I was finally able to get in contact with someone (a manager) on Wednesday October 23, 2024, after my 6th call of the day. I explained the situation to her, in its entirety. She said she understood. It was late Wednesday afternoon, and she promised to call, with a solution, on the next day. I asked her if she was sure and told her that she could take more time if needed. She ASSURED me that she would call me back the next day, which would have been Thursday October 24, 2024. Needless to say, I didn't receive a call. I called them, again, on Friday October 25, 2024. I was told that she was in a meeting, and that they would have her call me back. It is now after 5:30 on Monday October 28, 2024, and I've still yet to receive a call. I'm now over it and considering hiring an attorney.

At its worst, I struggled with really basic things--standing without help, sitting down, kneeling. It shut down Saturday morning workouts, made playing with my nieces and nephews tough, and big events like weddings or concerts were pretty much off the table. Any physical therapist can build a rehab plan, but what really sets PMST apart is how dynamic and hands-on their approach is. Things like cupping, tissue scraping, and dry needling made a real difference for me. I also love how much they operate as a true team--offering real-time tips on the floor and complementary care through their full staff, including chiropractors, nurses, and massage therapists (Dr. Gonzalez for the win!). I loved our conversations together and my neck has never felt better. My quality of life has definitely improved from where I was before to after our appointments together. For context, I used to wake up with neck pain every morning, to the point where going to bed was often painful even with the thinnest of pillows -- I often had to fall asleep on ice packs to get through the pain. I also had/have chronic migraines and was in a car accident prior to meeting Dr. Ali, so my neck and back were in rough shape. I also have been an athlete since I was 5, so I'm sure that didn't make it easy on her either! She was able to immediately diagnose some of the issues I had from built up wear and tear and start me on a program for recovery. She also made the whole process so easy with the insurance from the person who hit me. She took care of it all and I only had to worry about showing up to our appointments. I never had to worry about prices and sending forms back and forth with the insurance. Not having that additional stress with fighting insurance alone was super helpful. My quality of life has definitely improved after having Dr. Ali both as a physical therapist and a chiropractor -- it's not often we find someone capable of doing both in one appointment! She also would cater the care to my body's needs and how I was feeling. There were times where my neck was too sensitive for the typical chiropracty, but she had tools that made the process so much better -- decreasing my pain levels without adding to it. The tools she had were definitely a game changer. She would also change the procedures to fit my improvements or alter them for my needs at the time. I came in after going on a walk/hike started hurting my hips, and she was able to adjust them as well to relieve that pain too. She and I had great conversations where she would check in on me and remember things going on in my life and see how she could improve my conditions. She made me feel like I had her not only as a doctor, but also as a concerned friend. I really felt like she was doing her best to take care of me in every way. I only wish the best for her and look forward to seeing the growth of her business! If I ever have issues and need physical therapy or chiropracty again, I would definitely go to her again. I would definitely recommend her to anyone in the area -- whether it's chronic pain, athletic damage, or from a car crash, she was able to handle it all.

They recommended conservative measures for 6 weeks, ultimately against surgery, and spoke slowly and in terms I could understand easily. I told him and his assistant about another doctor I had seen and about the other doctor's recommended course of treatment, and Dr. Early was very knowledgable about why that wouldn't have been the best course. I asked for a copy of policy to make sure I follow policy and she decided to print out another copy highlighting the scheduling policy and highlighting once again where I signed after I had already received the copy I asked for. Like geez lady I apologized and am trying not to make the same error and she rubbed in my face. Emotional regulation is important for someone in charge of "patient care" and while I was remorseful and paid my fee for rescheduling less than 24 hrs, Christina was extremely passive aggressive and when told how she made a patient feel in clinic, she had 0 remorse or compassion. Impact vs intention especially when it comes to patient care. That's not someone that I'd like to see/deal with when coming into a clinic of great PTs & PA's. Again, if you want her to tackle an insurance company, she's your girl. If you want to be spoken to like a human being, go elsewhere. Very curt, insensitive but hey she'll get things done.

Lol The only thing that pissed me off is that before I started coming here I provided my insurance information see how much my therapy would be costing me. They told me that my insurance went through and I would pay $30 per visit. Excellent. So I started going for the next 2 months. Then I got a call from the receptionist saying that there was a mix up with my insurance number and that I actually have to pay a deductible of $90 per visit. And that I would be receiving a bill for the difference for the past 2 months! This has caused quite a problem for me and has substantially delayed my recovery. I'm not sure whose fault it is, it just really sucks.

I was in a really bad motorcycle accident last year so I've received treatment for my legs, back, shoulders, and arms. Carolyn Sink is awesome! So are all of the PT assistants. I had been going to Baylor and was really unhappy with the quality of treatment, but Carolyn completely changed my views on physical therapy. She is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and she has helped me tremendously in my recovery. Furthermore, the clinic is a fun place to be and everyone there has a great sense of humor. The banter alone makes me look forward to my next visit. I highly recommend Physical Therapy of Plano. Oh, one more thing. I have met many other patients there over the past 9 months, and for the most part everyone seems to me to be quite satisfied with their treatment.
