Here should be your first AND last stop. My mom had another company who was supposed to come in 3 times a day for 3 hour shifts, to do the bathing, help with bathroom issues (my mom is unable to do this because of a knee surgery and will never be able to walk again.) So we are talking about depends. This "OTHER" company showed up and did some things. Don't get me wrong some of the girls were ok others were not. Anyway the other company dumped my mom with a 72 hour notice. I called Comfort Keepers on a Thursday afternoon and they had this WONDERFUL Rep Andrea Hubbard come out Friday and she was kind considerate and a joy to have in my parents home. SHE was willing to do whatever she could to help and make us all feel safe. My mom did decide to return to assisted care at a facility, but if SHE had wanted to stay at home COMFORT CARE would of been doing her home care. To many managers and not enough caregivers. It is a Franchise, they do not care about the service or care , all they see is the dollar sign. When the VA called to have them provide the care I needed, they said they do not have the staff needed to take another client. Shortly thereafter the VA got a call stating they will have the care giver and accepted the responsibility. During the month I was with them, there were no set schedule regarding days, times, or even employees. They kept giving me excuses that they are working on it, but it never turned out. I received nothing but constant lies, from the original person that came in for the initial interview to management and even the schedulers. BE VERY CAREFULL OF THIS COMPANY, THEY WILL PROMISE YOU EVERYTHING BUT DELIVER NOTHING. THEY ARE NOTHING BUT A WELL-RUN MARKETING COMPANY.

My 92yr old friend was in need of help a few hours a week, Joe and his staff made it happen. If for any reason what so ever 1 of the staff could not make it, Joe would come out his self and take care of what needed done. Joe and staff were there with Dave for over a year. Then when Dave found out he had cancer, and there was nothing more the doctors could do, Joe worked with me and others to make Dave's wishes (to go home and die at home) happen. Joe got to work making sure he had 1st, 2nd & 3rd shifts covered. Joe kept me in the loop about everything that was going on with Dave's care everyday. Joe and staff worked with hospice to make sure all of Dave's needs were met. They were all very caring and took care of Dave and helped make Dave's last few week comfortable.
