As a disabled veteran I have had other agencies. This is by far the worst, I have ever had to deal with. The issues is not with the care givers but with the management of Comfort Keepers. To many managers and not enough caregivers. It is a Franchise, they do not care about the service or care , all they see is the dollar sign. When the VA called to have them provide the care I needed, they said they do not have the staff needed to take another client. Shortly thereafter the VA got a call stating they will have the care giver and accepted the responsibility. During the month I was with them, there were no set schedule regarding days, times, or even employees. They kept giving me excuses that they are working on it, but it never turned out. I received nothing but constant lies, from the original person that came in for the initial interview to management and even the schedulers. BE VERY CAREFULL OF THIS COMPANY, THEY WILL PROMISE YOU EVERYTHING BUT DELIVER NOTHING. THEY ARE NOTHING BUT A WELL-RUN MARKETING COMPANY. read more

We've had care givers from Comfort Keepers in to care for my mother for the past few weeks, and I don't even have words for how caring and wonderful they've been. They take excellent care of my mom, first and foremost. They also reassure me and I feel like I've made several new friends. I can tell they truly care about my mom, and have gone above and beyond to keep her house clean (for which she has super high standards), which is very important to her. They've taken great care of her dog and cat, and spoil and love them when they are there. It is so important to be able to have caring people you can trust when you're not there. I've heard them talking to her when I'm there and they are so caring and reassuring her all the time. Today, I came over and baked, and they even cleaned up after me! I don't know the names of all the care givers that have been there, but Kayla, Chloe, Dorene, and Sarah have all just been amazing. I wish I didn't have to say goodbye when they are no longer needed. Carrie and Ashley in the office, are always available and take care of any questions or concerns immediately. I knew as soon as I and my first meeting with Ashley, we were in good hands. We had another service in a few years ago after my mom broke her wrist, and they were quite a disappointment. I am so happy to have this group caring for my mother as she deals with a serious illness. It is a scary time and leaving my mom in the care of others is a bit nerve wracking, but I feel incredibly lucky to have found these caregivers because I don't have any worries at all when I leave the house. This company seems to have good intentions and was somewhat helpful, but on an important occasion, I was given incorrect information. And I have had a very bad service experience with them. Was driven and accompanied out of town for surgery, and it was a painful experience. The worker was not a good driver, and barely provided any support other than just chaufferring me. It made things even more stressful than they already were. Especially let down because the experience cost me over $400. read more

Do you need a company to come to your parents home and care for them? Do you want someone who will ACTUALLY CARE? and treat your parents or loved ones with respect and take care of them like they were part of their family? Here should be your first AND last stop. My mom had another company who was supposed to come in 3 times a day for 3 hour shifts, to do the bathing, help with bathroom issues (my mom is unable to do this because of a knee surgery and will never be able to walk again.) So we are talking about depends. This "OTHER" company showed up and did some things. Don't get me wrong some of the girls were ok others were not. Anyway the other company dumped my mom with a 72 hour notice. I called Comfort Keepers on a Thursday afternoon and they had this WONDERFUL Rep Andrea Hubbard come out Friday and she was kind considerate and a joy to have in my parents home. SHE was willing to do whatever she could to help and make us all feel safe. My mom did decide to return to assisted care at a facility, but if SHE had wanted to stay at home COMFORT CARE would of been doing her home care.
