Madame Trina was awesome to work with. Very informative and a joy to sit and talk with while taking care of getting my glasses ordered.

I had a problem with a long wait time from a eye clinic before so changed to this clinic a year ago…read moreand I am really pleased with it. When you go in you will be treated with very welcoming front desk and they call or text us to make sure come 15 min early to the appointment. When I have eye exam appointment it's really quick; you usually don't wait any longer than 5-10 min and get done in 20 min. They have a lot of modern technology like retinal screening that you don't need to dilate your eyes for exams to quickly get over the exam and it only takes few min. After everything was examined, the doctor (Dr. Carlin this time, Dr. Waguespack is great too) came out and explained everything and answered all my question. While everything was quick, it was not rushed and and I got a comprehensive assessment and clear feedback what I should be doing to better my eye health. The best part was the staff; the front desk was so nice, checked on my well being and made sure if my insurance was able to cover without asking. After ordering contacts she deliberately give me a lot of contact solutions to take home and I was so thankful. It was such a very good experience overall.

I needed a pair of contacts since I was not able to see and with this heat it's almost impossible to keep your eyeglasses on your face without it slipping off. I searched for the nearest optometrist office and this office popped up. Luckily, they were able to take me in very quickly, and Dr. Carlin was able to see me. He was very knowledgeable, patient, and very accommodating since I had my two littles one with me. I have really dry eyes so he gave me several pairs of trial contacts to try to see which one fits my eyes best. Dr. Carlin did a very thorough exam and explained everything to me. In between the exam he'll also check in with the kids to make sure they were not bored. Ihighly recommend this office and Dr. Carlin. His professionalism and his knowledge made me feel comfortable walking into this office, and knowing I'll receive the best service. Your eyes are really important so I'm glad I was able to take care of it with someone I can trust.

I've never seen an ophthalmologist before this tragic encounter at Baton Rouge Eye Physicians on…read moreDecember 11, 2018 when I was viciously attacked by filthy individual, Shalimar Small. I had a tiny - around 1 mm chalazion - a temporary oil gland blockage, when an eye cream got into my right eye. Because it was so tiny, it was completely undetectable visually and it would have resolved on its own. I understood that it could be quickly, within a 30-second in-office procedure, cleaned by an ophthalmologist. As I never been to an ophthalmologist, I simply found the closest clinic online. When I came for an appointment, filthy Shalimar Small never washed its hands, never put on any gloves, prior to inverting my eyelids and touching them on the inside. I could see how it was touching the filthy door knobs in that disgusting clinic, and not even once washed its filthy hands prior to touching me. Small said that I need "an injection" of some "steroid." I never received any kind of injections at all, let alone in my eye. I told it that I do not want it and I do not think it would help. Disgusting Small continued "working" on me, trying to convince me that it was safe, "even safer" that the "draining" procedure I wanted to have. I asked Small to explain what was the purported mechanism of that injection. Small mumbled something incomprehensible. I said that the injection will not help me. But since small continued trying to convince me to get an injection, I made a tragic mistake and allowed that filthy b-itch to inject me. It brought an already filled syringe from another room. I could not see who, when, and what put into that large syringe. It still did not put any gloves on, did not wash its filthy hands, and after quickly smothering some alcohol over my eyelids, injected me with something. I immediately cried out in pain. The wound that Small inflicted, started bleeding. Filthy Small, still with its unwashed and ungloved hands, started touching the bleeding eye. I looked at the mirror and saw a horrific injury - my injected eyelids became 30-40 times thicker, were covered in hematomas and bleeding. Whatever horrible, filthy Small injected into my eyelids, ate thorough the tissues and caused their deterioration, that still continues, to this day. It's been nearly 2 years but my chemically burned by small tissues continue deteriorating, are akin to raw meat, always covered with horrible unhealing wound. The structures of the eyelids have been destroyed by filthy small. I permanently lost my precious eyelids that were flawless and beautiful prior to the vicious attack by that disgusting bas-tard. As a result of the injection, my eyelids got covered with scar tissues and wounds that get formed exclusively in response to ocular battery. I had to have several surgeries simply to remove scar tissues and wound that disgusting small from Baton Rouge Eye Physicians inflicted. As there is a criminal secrecy among all charlatans, no quack wanted to deal with aftermath of the vicious attack and chemical burns. Fraudulent bas-tards that I had to see after the attack, manufactured phony records. When I asked why my injuries and not being documented, I was told that they will "not write anything that will damage another physician's career." When horrific injuries and growths, inflicted by disgusting small were being surgically removed, I specifically requested that they will be send to an independent laboratory, since they were evidence of the vicious attack by caustic injections. Booth from Williamson Eye Center, covering up the crime, disposed of the contents against my will and never sent it to the lab for analysis. Whichever filthy small injected me, ate through and dissolved my eyelids, they unnaturally receded, all scarred, covered with wounds, do not normally move, I cannot normally blink, they look like raw meat, and are deformed and disfigured. Because they are scarred so badly, it affects my vision and rubs against my eyeball, damaging it. I have horrific unhealing wounds that I told might be cancer - it is unknown what kind of toxic, corrosive substance sadistic and psychopathic small injected - possibly something that has carcinogenic properties. My appearance is ruined and there is nothing that could be done - my eyelids were chemically burned and destroyed and there is no way to reconstruct it. There is also no way to hold that filthy bas-tard small accountable - courts, the board of medical examiners, and other organizations in Louisiana are extremely corrupt and have been falsifying documents, hiding public record from the public, and injuring public records - to insulate filthy bas-tard small from any liability so that it will continue sadistically disfiguring unsuspecting victims.

Before I saw small, md , I saw an ophthalmologist last time 10 years ago. After what small, md has done to me (that was supposed to be a routine, simple, quick, in-office procedure), I already had a dozen of appointments with different ophthalmologists and several surgeries. I I do not know if small is a such a quack or some kind of disturbed individual and purposely damaged and disfigured my eyelid since butchers-physicians have very little liability and what in a normal world would be an assault and battery, in a medical world of charlatans just "side effects," "complications," or very rarely "malpractice." When I went to the clinic next day after small, md performed a procedure on me, she was not there so her employer, the owner of the clinic, holloway, md, saw me. I complained about pain and pressure in my eyeball (that, I found out later, often complications of the procedure that should be addressed right away), he refused to do it, instead tried to grab my already injured eyelid as if he does not know that in the state of injury everything is inflamed and sensitive. I asked him to be more gentle but he became hostile, got up and left the room. This is a horrible practice run by incompetent charlatans.
