Although a minor additional reason, as another reviewer mentioned, there is a $150 consultation fee even if you don't get anything done there - in contrast to most other surgeons I went to that offered free initial consultations. I would not have minded paying for the consultation if I felt that my questions were answered and my concerns were addressed attentively, but I kept getting the same question repeatedly, and did not feel that the consultation was worth the cost.

I wasn't sure what to expect because the office seems like something between a spa and a doctor's office. It was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. The check-in process was very easy with minimal paperwork, and then I was taken into an office to get some photos of my face taken. The procedure itself was painless and Candace had such a gentle touch! She explained everything she was doing as she worked and nothing she did felt too aggressive. Candace was very professional and I could tell she was very knowledgable about all of the services she provides. I was done in no time and my skin felt fantastic afterward. It still feels and looks great a day later (no after-facial breakouts or redness). I will definitely be back!

I was told that only two family members could be scheduled at a time because if three patients no show, that it a big empty block of time for them. I told the scheduler that I've never missed an appointment in my life and asked if there is any way around this as I don't want to have to take two separate days off of work to do something that could be done at once. She told me that she could not schedule them all but she could transfer me to the clinic and I could ask them. I got the clinic's voicemail which instructed me to only leave one message as leaving multiple messages will increase my call back time. They never returned my call. Never. Maybe that's why people often leave multiple messages but what do I know. I may continue to go to this clinic myself since it's close to my work but I'll be finding another clinic for my children. And if I'm impressed with the next clinic, I won't be going back to Eye Medical.

Unfortunately, my experience with him was extremely disappointing. First, I waited nearly two hours past my appointment time before he entered the room. When he finally did, his demeanor was dismissive and unprofessional from the very beginning, as if he did not have the time or patience to see me. When I tried to ask questions to better understand his explanation (which directly conflicted with information I had been given by my neurologist), he was condescending in his responses, repeating that "this is my profession" instead of providing clarity. Rather than engaging with my concerns, he seemed bothered by my need for understanding and even suggested I see another doctor if I "had a problem with him." Bedside manner matters, especially when patients are dealing with complex health issues and need support, not attitude. My concerns were not taken seriously, my questions were brushed off, and the overall experience left me feeling disrespected and more confused than when I arrived. I will not be returning and would not recommend Dr. Burnham to patients who value compassion, professionalism, and clear communication.

When you go in you will be treated with very welcoming front desk and they call or text us to make sure come 15 min early to the appointment. When I have eye exam appointment it's really quick; you usually don't wait any longer than 5-10 min and get done in 20 min. They have a lot of modern technology like retinal screening that you don't need to dilate your eyes for exams to quickly get over the exam and it only takes few min. After everything was examined, the doctor (Dr. Carlin this time, Dr. Waguespack is great too) came out and explained everything and answered all my question. While everything was quick, it was not rushed and and I got a comprehensive assessment and clear feedback what I should be doing to better my eye health. The best part was the staff; the front desk was so nice, checked on my well being and made sure if my insurance was able to cover without asking. After ordering contacts she deliberately give me a lot of contact solutions to take home and I was so thankful. It was such a very good experience overall.

I needed a pair of contacts since I was not able to see and with this heat it's almost impossible to keep your eyeglasses on your face without it slipping off. I searched for the nearest optometrist office and this office popped up. Luckily, they were able to take me in very quickly, and Dr. Carlin was able to see me. He was very knowledgeable, patient, and very accommodating since I had my two littles one with me. I have really dry eyes so he gave me several pairs of trial contacts to try to see which one fits my eyes best. Dr. Carlin did a very thorough exam and explained everything to me. In between the exam he'll also check in with the kids to make sure they were not bored. Ihighly recommend this office and Dr. Carlin. His professionalism and his knowledge made me feel comfortable walking into this office, and knowing I'll receive the best service. Your eyes are really important so I'm glad I was able to take care of it with someone I can trust.
