I discovered this spot about two years ago and have never gone anywhere else to get my hats done since. There was a guy that worked here who made me feel very uncomfortable and I almost took my business elsewhere. He used to tell me some inappropriate things and was super unprofessional after I told him I was in a relationship so it made me avoid this place for a while. I have the screen shots to back this up and my complaints too but I feel like this should be enough. Just posting this so that the business owner knows to be careful who they have representing their business in the future because these guys provide great quality and products. Anyways, we ran out of hats about a week ago. I call them and thank god they had two other guys take care of me. Charlie took my order and said it would take about a week. The very next day, he called me and said my order was ready. Holy cow! I think they secretly have elves working in the back 24/7. Never in my life have I received custom embroidered hats in such a short turn around time. Kevin released my goods and sent me a photo over once they were done. What more can you ask for? Hat selection gets an A+ just like their service and quality!! I just don't like how their Yupoong hats keep going up every year though by like a dollar?! They're dad hats not gas! I called up and spoke to the owner, a semi take Korean English accent, and told him what I was looking for. It was on a Saturday and I asked him if he could complete a job that I needed done that day. He must've been very busy because he said come on in we have that color hat and we can do the job, I replied I would be there. When I showed up, he told me he cannot do the job that day and somewhat apologized for having me driving from Long Beach to get it done. The other frustration is that he seems to use a cell phone as the work phone, which I understand saves cost, however sometimes you get through to him, other times you down, sometimes you get a text- it's all on par for a downtown garment business. Be clear, have them repeat what you said, and I would also follow up with a text and have them reply to that so you can both have the business result you're looking for. I did not get any work done there, so I cannot comment on the quality of the work. Just a review of how I tried to bring work to them and it didn't work out. read more

Stumbled into this place looking for a hat embroidery spot, so glad I did. I just read all the other reviews, maybe those reviewers aren't accustomed to doing business downtown? It's not a warm fuzzy type deal, it's a break the ice-what do you need type deal. Sam was helpful and answered all my questions, I found out he did the work on a hat I was wearing (which I loved & had great detail) so after he told me the set up fees, price per hat, & 3-4 day turnaround time, I said yep, let's do this. He was fast, got me set up & ready to go, I paid half and was done. He called when they were done & even cracked a smile when I came by to pick them up. ;-) They turned out better than I expected, the quality was amazing & with that turnaround we will be back. I refuse to do business with them anymore. After almost 7 years of doing business with them, I will never go back. The first mishap was embroidered on some joggers and they used they put the wrong colors in my logo & pretty much just said "I'm sorry" but I over looked it because l had been going to them for years and accidents happen. Then I put in an order for some hats the turn around time, or so I was told at the time, was 2 weeks. I called in to be sure they were ready before going in. I was told my hats were still not done and that they would have them done in a week. I was actually very understanding of that due to the pandemic and everyone will mess up because we're all human. A week later, a day before I really needed the hats because I had a photo shoot, I called still not done. Apologetic as they were I was irritated yes but after using the company for 7 years with no problem I excused it and went to pick up the hats & to my surprise they were WRONG. Wrong colors, wrong placement. I was told to bring in more hats & they would embroider them for free. I did that & they weren't ready for an entire MONTH. Went to go pick up the hats & they're WRONG AGAIN. AT THIS POINT MY SUMMER RELEASE IS COMPLETELY BEHIND & all because of the long turn around times & wrong logos being done. After being in the store for almost 2 hours we came to the agreement that I would buy more hats from them at the store and they would embroider them for free again. The hats are actually correct this time but two weeks later. Now fast forward about 2 months, I get a call saying I have a $200+ balance that I owe them. From embroidery fees. I have never in my life not paid when I came to pick up the hats. If I had a balance why wasn't that presented when I picked up the hats but now you're calling me months later. Anyways he argued with me for an hour over the phone because saying that I had everything wrong and I needed to pay them or bring back the hats. After I said I wasn't doing that because I paid for all the hats and we had an agreement. So at the end of the call he said they would never do business with ME. After all that and years of referring business to them and being loyal that's how our business relationship was severed. Terrible terrible way to ring a business And treat you customers. read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. Would not recommend at all! I came to vision stitch to get 150 shirts made for my up and coming clothing brand. (75 black/75 cream - the number of shirts is important to keep in mind) At first I left feeling confident that we had an understanding of exactly what I wanted and that they could deliver. 3 days later Charlie texts me that because of high quantity of orders-mine would not be ready in time. I am a very understanding person and said that the wait time was no problem for me. The very next day I get a text letting me know that THIRTY(30) of my cream shirts were embroidered INCORRECTLY and asked me to bring 30 MORE shirts for them to be done correctly (no reimbursement). I immediately asked for production to be stopped and went to pick them up. When I get to the store I see that SIX MORE cream shirts had been made. I got to my car and counted the shirts. I now had 5 BLACK SHIRTS MISSING. When I let them know that I had 5 black shirts missing Charlie had the audacity to blame the company where I got my shirts from. Charlie swore he had no idea where the shirts were and he didn't know what to tell me. SECONDS LATER the younger man that works there brought them out (EMBROIDERED). I am now left with ONLY 39 cream shirts and 70 black shirts. As an up and coming brand that is relying solely on my personal bank account-this hurts my budget tremendously. I am very upset at the lack of communication this company has. The reason my shirts were made incorrectly was because they did not communicate well (although everything was written out in specific detail on the invoice). As soon as the first 30 shirts were made production should have stopped immediately-but for whatever reason they continued to make 11 more without my consent. I am never coming back and will not be recommending them to my fellow colleagues. read more
