I've been going to this place for years growing up as I did middle school and high school band. The…read morestaff here are friendly, understanding, and accommodating. They have a wide arrange of music scores, instruments, and instructors for private lessons. I've come here for instruments repairs or the occasional mishap when a mouthpiece gets stuck. My visit was on a Wednesday afternoon to consign an instrument. If you purchased the instrument from there, you get 75% of the selling price; if not, you get 70%. I consigned an old Yamaha in great condition with all the equipment from years ago. Craig- the manager- helped me find the previous invoice to speed up the process. Was done around 10 minutes! Great service and hidden gem for your musical needs.

My ukelele is a soprano, a great beginner ukelele I was practicing with, got it for $75 with tax and a carrying bag included in my purchase, if I remember correctly, tag price was $69.99 I did ask if there was something similar to a brand/type of ukelele I started my practice with but I was then getting sold onto the more expensive pieces that I didn't have experience with and didn't ask for so that was a miss for me. Wish I got more of a relevant recommendation but the workers were sweet, they let us browse by ourselves for a good amount of time before stepping in (which good for me because I needed time to think, compare, and browse). When we went, there were a handful of other customers inside the store, it's located in a small shopping center but the store is bigger inside than it appears on the outside. The parking situation was just okay, not bad, could use a tad bit more space, we went ~1p the parking lot was full minus 2-3 spots but I noticed cars came and went from the time we got there until we left so it seems like there's a couple spots free at any given time due to the traffic coming in and out for small errands. Lots of instruments and accessories to be found inside and the workers seem to be happy to help find what is needed! Pretty well organized inside to find what you need on your own though, I was able to find the ukeleles quickly.

Christian said he wasn't able to refund me my $650 even tho it was their mistake, so he gave me store credit of $650. I became even more upset that he didnt even give me any type of discount when I decided to use my store credit to buy the most expensive speaker he convinced me to purchase. Then the last straw was when he told me he would call me and let me know when my products arrived and are ready for pick up.... He didn't tell me until 2 weeks later but he was so persistent with calling me in the beginning to make the sale ... I told him I don't check my email and appreciate his calls but taking 2 weeks to let me know it arrived.... Smh. All good I just would be cautious when purchasing with christian he's focused on sales not our happiness. He is quick to make sales and call me daily to check if I'm ready to go back to make a purchase but not so quick to tell me my order arrived and was ready for pick up. Or give me a deal when they made mistakes. Guess that's why he's the lead sales not lead in customer service. I will be back but I'll ask for Juan or Kyle to help me. Walked around a bit and was unsure of who worked here. An employee found me and asked if I needed any help. I responded with I was here to pick up an order. He said he would go to the back and look and see if my order was ready so I waited. I walked around a bit, hoping he would come back and get me once he had my order, but I was mistaken. As I saw him helping a customer at the register, I walked over to the register so he would be reminded that he was getting my order from the back. I was nonexistent and I waited almost 20 minutes before another employee came over to help me. I would understand if the store was packed because I know it is a few days till Christmas however, the store was pretty empty when I came in I was the only one there so I should've been able to pick up my order and leave and not have to wait more than 30 minutes. Maybe I'll have a better experience next time I come in because I did see some fun items for my grandkids.

Henry shimmed the nut, made a new saddle, leveled, crowned and dressed the frets, and added new strings. The guitar became playable once again. It sounds fantastic complete with a perfect action. And the cost for all of that work was extremely reasonable!

Given that the price difference was minimal and that it would have been easier for him to do a single session instead of coming here twice, I appreciate that he recommended the separate sessions to give the piano time to settle before subsequent fine tuning. He also recommended an in-piano dehumidifier as my location is very humid (which is true) and there are visible signs of moisture damage inside the piano. I needed a readily available guitar pedal and a rare power supply for it. After much Googling the suggestion was to buy the pedal from one music store and the power supply from Vision Guitar. I thought to check VG's price for the pedal. Fact is, even then I'm on the east coast and VG is in CA, I got the best prices and my free shipping products arrived in just a few days. Not only that, but I had a personal e-mail from Mr. Sutherland with tracking info and everything I ordered was; priced competitively, shipped free and quickly, As a guitarist and bassist of 27 years I endorse this shop and its team. There is nothing more private and personal in the world for a musician than to try a musical instrument, specially if is the one you really need without any pressure of time. This place is the best guitar shop that I've visited in the last five years all around the country. Brian and Michael are super helpful guys. They make me feel special every time I go to the store, even my wife is happy going there. They would have the patience to set up the gear I want to try, without pushing me to buy. This is not only my private guitar spot, this is a place where I made friends, thanks to them I got the guitar I always wanted with all the pedals, and accessories that I was looking for a while. 100% recommend:) I will continue to come here and I HIGHLY recommend anyone looking for a music store with boutique stuff as well. read more

This place is amazing. This is THE place to go to if you're looking for guitar pedals. I drove over an hour to come here, and it was worth it. I'm looking to start building my first pedal board, and was looking for more options that what most local shops and even Guitar Center had. They don't even compare to this place. Their selection is crazy, and they know what they're talking about. They actually have a lot of the pedals that you see online. They took the time to figure out what I was looking for and offered some suggestions. Bring your guitar in and you can try the pedals out on the amps they have. They also have guitars, amps, and other supplies a guitar player would need. No pressure to buy. I'll definitely be back more than once! read more

Heard about this place through a friend that had his pedalboard worked on by these guys. Had no idea what to expect from the outside of the store but when you walk in its guitar player heaven. No kidding, top of the line and hard to find brands are all here. James helped me find a few things and he was the coolest salesman I've ever encountered, very knowledgeable but not at all pushy. I spent 45 minutes in there and never felt rushed. Ended up purchasing a Strymon Big Sky and a Cioks power supply. Attention guitar players of the Bay Area! Well a very belated THANK YOU and a Happy New Year to Jeff who helped me out in finding some mounting screws for a neck pickup that I was trying to install. I was headed out when he offered a tour and I was just mesmerized with the selection of guitars and pedals. He's the man.

We've made good use of the PA system and in-room kit, and I'm sure we've tested the limits of the room's sound dampening. We've been able to count on Unitone, and Siga has always been helpful, friendly, and accommodating when we've needed some extra time. Our lead guitarist also rates Siga's fretboard work as "absolutely buttery".
