Another shop run by pretentious D bags. I mean goddamn. When you walk in. Not a hi. Not a hello. Not a single word but two nerds talking to each other. You literally have to get them to shut up just to say hi. They will not help you. They don't ask if you have questions. As soon as you walk it it's the "I'm better than you attitude." If you can pocket some items do so. Maybe they will at least start acknowledging customers. Nothing is priced at all. And everything is priced higher than online. Sure they have everything. So once I made up my mind to purchase a Custom Shop guitar, my next goal was to find a reputable dealer/shop. Through searching the Reverb site I found Vision Guitar. I read reviews from previous customers and decided to pull the trigger on a Friedman Cali-Metallic Blue medium aged guitar. The instrument arrived via UPS within a reasonable amount of time. Upon opening the box and seeing this awesome beast, I have almost literally not put it down lol. This thing rocks, the body is very resonant, so much so that you can practice without an amp if in your bedroom and don't feel like powering up everything. It has plenty of sustain and grit, unlike any of my other guitars. What every Dave Friedman and Grover Jackson did, they did it right. Vision Guitar I'm glad I found you. Really dig the people here. All super chill but very helpful. All seem to be guitarists and love gear as much as we do. This place has a small but decent selection of high end guitars (Nash, Suhr, some fenders) as well as a nice selection of boutique amps. I've visited here about 4 times and every visit the guys here helped me get set up and then left me alone so I could demo some of their fine wares. What's really awesome about this place is their guitar and amp component selection. They are literally like the brick and mortar Radio Shack of guitar parts. String trees, knobs, bridges, screws, pickups, and a dizzying assortment of pedals. It's so satisfying to walk into a place like this, have some pleasant face to face interaction, and walk out the same day with what I need. I hope Vision Guitars has a presence for years to come. Hello Everyone, I ordered an online product through Ebay by trusting the reviewer comments. However, it was entirely a fail. I ordered a D'Addario PW-CP-10NSM NS Artist Capo with Micro Headstock Tuner and due to the lock down it took a couple of months until the order is said to be shipped to the EU. I never received the package and they took my money. I asked them to return my money because I never received notification whether the package is arrived or not but they told me that they will not return my money. This place is amazing! It's like being on the internet, but in person. I've wanted to go for a long time after seeing them on Reverb, so when we were in San Jose shopping I was finally able to go. I like it - I was going for effects, and they have effects galore. Stuff I have only ever seen advertised online, right the on the packed shelves in front of me. Stuff I have lusted after, finger hovering over the "add to cart" button - the box within reach of my fingers. There is a pedal that I have wanted to try out since some people seem to love it - been tempted before to order it online. The guy in the store let me check it out, with a beautiful bass that was hanging on the wall (they sell instruments too). Was underwhelmed by the pedal, but happy with the store! If there was something I really wanted, I would strongly consider taking my own bass and amp and trying it out. Will definitely buy from them in the future. read more

Excellent customer service! Bryan is amazing. He took great care of me. I didn't feel like an insignificant customer being the pedal I had them work on is a low end wah pedal, as compared to what they have in store. I brought my Dunlop SW95 wah to have the push push switch replaced. What I thought was a simple solder job, turned into a nightmare. The bypass mode was somehow disabled after they replaced the switch. I brought the pedal back to them. After about a week of trying to fix it, they consulted with Dunlop. Dunlop concluded that the issue is not serviceable anymore. So Vision Guitar sent the pedal back to Dunlop and they gave me a brand new one from their own inventory. The thing is, my warranty has expired and I didn't even purchase the pedal from them! I only paid their flat rate service charge to replace the switch and I got a brand new pedal in the end. You can't ask for better customer service than that. read more

This place is what you need if you're in the market for guitar pedals and boutique guitar and amps. I don't think I've found a store that fulfills this purpose in the Bay Area, so they provide a much needed demand in the instrument market. Seriously, when you walk into the guitar pedal room, your interiors will be filled with joyous effusion. However, the make or break for guitar stores really is the customer service, which is top notch. I wanted to build my first pedalboard and had no idea where to start. I met the owner Bryan, who was very patient walking me through the entire process of planning and building a board - I must've been there 45 minutes and never felt rushed or pressured to buy anything. He even gave me a quick tour of the store with all the boutique pedals they stock. I had more questions over the week and each time Bryan was quick to respond over email. I was in the area for a few months and was looking for some guitar stores to check out some amps and guitars since I was in the market for both. I saw this small guitar store that was right by where I lived which was only open open 10AM - 5PM and so I wasn't able to visit during weekdays because of work, so I stopped by on Saturday. As soon as I walked in I immediately understood why they were only open 10AM-5PM. This store is heaven for professional guitar players who know their stuff and are keen on boutique amplifiers and guitars and care about quality gear in general. Every single product in there is incredibly rare and of the highest quality that exists. I feel incredibly lucky that I was at this store at the right time and was able to buy me a milkman amp! I have never seen a store like this. I am forever spoiled and cannot go into GC without cringing anymore haha. But in all seriousness, If you like guitar gear, you will want to live in there! They have a sweet selection of boutique amps, pedals, guitars as well as a lot of guitar parts. Brought my old guitar in to get it restrung this Saturday morning. Bryan not only restrung it but adjusted the entire guitar plus fixed a broken volume pot. All for a very reasonable price and finished within an hour. The guitar sounds and plays great now. Bryan even made my 7 year old son happy with some cool stickers! This place is a gem, my only regret is not finding about them sooner! They have by far the largest selection of guitar hardware & electronic parts of any retail store. I've been there close to a dozen times in the past few months, and everyone I met was great talking to and helpful. I used to have to order online, or drive around for 2 hours hoping one of the usual music shops had the parts I needed, not anymore! I placed an order with USPS Express 1 day shipping option. It costed me about $30 extra to have this. Needless to say that didn't happen and got the package in 2 days. I specifically had a need to have it in 1 day but since it didn't happen, I've moved on, but $30 extra for something I didn't get even if the issue is with USPS. I send an email on Friday about this. When I don't hear back from them in 5 days, I called to inquire. They asked what I wanted so I said $30 in store credit which in my opinion is not much. I am told that a manager will call me back. Instead of calling me back, Brian replies to my email stating the obvious and how USPS doesn't guarantee 1 day. Also they've been busy with having only 2 employees man the shop so that's why they didn't respond to my email. Nothing was offered to me. I will just choose not to shop there anymore. The only question I have for them is that since they are only allowed to have 2 people working at the shop, are they discounting their stuff because they are not able to provide service as they should? These businesses always expect your money in full, but can't always provide the service or products as promised. Then refuse to refund what belongs back to you. read more
