I often received mailings from them which have offered a completely free eye test, and I usually take up this offer!The staff are friendly and very professional and are not pushy about selling their products like some high street opticians, even if you are only taking advantage of the free eye test promotion! I always find that the waiting time is also a lot shorter than in other opticians - you get seen more or less straight away, even at peaktime (i.e. weekends). Their frames are generally good quality and they have a lot of designer ones too. The prices reflect the quality really - I am a strong believer that you get what you pay for!

One counter is for eye tests and another is for anything contact lens related. The staff are always really friendly and the opticians themselves are so nice and always make me feel comfortable, which is essential when someone's right up close looking in your eye! Their tests are really good, they take photo's of your eyes to check for other problems. The staff who help you choose glasses are great and give you lots of advice as there are tons of different options. I would highly recommend this shop.

Unlike some Boots stores local to me which are cramped and overcrowded, this Boots has a great spacious layout and it's easy to find what you're looking for. Boots always used to be an expensive store, but nowadays I find that they often have great competitive deals on the product that I use. On top of this, their loyalty card means that you get approximately 4p (4 points) back for every pound you spend, as well as being mailed coupons where you can get bonus points. Recently there have been a few good points deals such as getting 500 (£5) worth of points when you spend over £50 in one transactions. Their 3 for 2 deals make good great xmas presents too!
