I came in about a month ago to have a pair of bifocal glasses made up from my prescription from…read moreAsda opticians. I had the UV protection and antiglare. The glasses came back okay but was not explained to me by Specsavers the difference between antiglare and antireflective and said at the time I didn't want the antireflective coating, so the glasses had to remade without the antiglare coating. Went into today on 22/11/19, asked the receptionist if they were ready, she said yes. I waited about 20 minutes, then I was told that they were not in shop but still in the lab. I took about 5 minutes for them to bring the glasses. The bifocal reading area was too narrow and dreadful. The first pair with the coating was correct but not able to remake the glasses to my spec and the right width for reading. I've been wearing bifocal glasses for ten years and always been made to my spec. I have got to wait another two weeks and hope there are right this time. this is the first time I've been to Specsavers probably go to Charneys. If the not right this time I will asked to refund and take my business else where. I stead of being Specsaver it should Specages. I think Specsavers are more interested in making money, every ones different, rather than good customer patient care.
