First red flag, why would I need surgery for a dry patch of skin. She proceeded to tell me it might be allergies, so I did an allergy test. I had to come back to get my results about a week later and had to force her to give me a culture in my nose. After forcing her doctor to do a culture she proscribed me a topical antibiotic "just in case it's bacterial"... Red flag 2, why would I need antibiotics if we don't know if it's bacterial. If it's not bacterial and I take antibiotics I will kill all the good for no reason at all. Will not be going back

He recommended the air purifier and staying disciplined with my allergy medicines. While my symptoms got much better as a result, my chronic sinus infections were still an issue. It was only then after addressing all the underlying issues first that we pursued surgery. The balloon sinuplasty was fantastic and painless, and the recovery time was equally quick and pain free - I have yet to take a single Tylenol. I was very informed at every step of the way; I feel the entire team are my advocates and always have my best interests in mind.

During my first visit, I…read morecame prepared with my blood results from my PCP, which I had already emailed to his office prior to the appointment. When Dr. Pandit came in, he asked where my thyroid and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome results were - which made it clear that neither he nor his staff had thoroughly reviewed my labs. My thyroid results were clearly included in what I sent. Despite that, I proceeded with the visit. Later that same week, I called his staff to follow up and asked them to review my blood work again. They told me they would submit a request to my PCP to get all my results, even though I had already provided them. When I checked in the following week, they said they still hadn't heard back from my PCP. By that point, I had already received my Chronic Fatigue Syndrome results and wanted to send those over as well. I repeatedly asked the staff to review my original blood work because my thyroid results were already there, but they kept brushing me off. After several calls, they finally reviewed it and admitted that my thyroid results were indeed included. I then asked them to confirm whether the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome results I was about to submit were the correct ones Dr. Pandit needed to review before my next visit -- because he had specifically mentioned that he needed to see those results before proceeding. Instead of helping, two different nursing members raised their voices at me, saying they didn't know because the doctor wasn't in. I politely asked if they could confirm with him later and get back to me, but they both said the doctor "didn't have time for that" and that I would just have to wait until my next visit. I explained that I wanted to be proactive and make sure I had all the necessary labs ready ahead of time, but they dismissed me again, saying the doctor would "probably be fine with it." When I asked if they could review the doctor's notes, they said they didn't have access to them but somehow insisted the doctor already had everything he requested - which felt dismissive, confusing, and inconsistent. The staff's tone and attitude made it clear that my health concerns were not a priority to them. If this is how the staff behaves toward patients, I can only imagine how things are handled behind the scenes with the Doctor. After reading other reviews, it now makes sense why many people have shared similar frustrations - and it's hard not to believe that this office may be buying positive reviews for marketing purposes. My health is my top priority, but it was evident that it isn't theirs. I would not recommend this office to anyone looking for a doctor or staff who truly care, communicate clearly, or take the time to review patient information properly.

The biggest issue is that they didn't disclose any prices in advance. They billed me over 2x as much for a "premium" toric contact lens fitting. Of course this wasn't mentioned at the time of service. In 25 years I've never been charged more than the standard price for a contact lens fitting, and it has always been covered by my vision insurance. Not the case here as apparently a toric fitting falls into their special/"premium" category. This was my first and last visit to Dallas Eye & Ear.

We are both pleased with the ease and great care from Mi Doctor Clinics especially the one in Oakcliff off of Dawes Street. I would definitely recommend them. Plus the visit are inexpensive since my wife has no health insurance very affordable.

#1 worst experience at a clinic…read more The front staff is rude and inefficient​. I was scheduled for a 10 a.m. appointment and arrived 30 minutes early. Mostly because I rely on public transportation and because the clinic states that patients arrive 15 minutes prior to their appointment. I walked in and the front staff members were gossiping in plain sight. I interrupted them to inform them that I needed to check in for my appointment. I was merely told to go sit down and wait to be called in. I thought this was odd since I've always had to sign in for any medical appointments except for one clinic where the front staff actually took the time to know patients and this is not that clinic. I saw a sign in sheet but no pen available so I began to repeat myself and before I could finish speaking, they urged me to go sit down. I sat down and waited and waited as I saw many of the people that came in at the same time and after finish with their appointments. So around 50 minutes past my appointment time and over an hour after my arrival, I walked up to the registration desk and asked how long it was going to take because I had already been waiting there for more than an hour. I was also fasting and it was obvious that my blood sugar levels were low as I was sweating, shivering, weak, and pale. I reminded them that I had arrived at 9:30 a.m. and my appointment was at 10 a.m. Having not eaten since around 7:30 p.m. the night before and not being able to keep any food down for a few days, I was in no condition to just sit around anymore. There were many women behind the registration desk. Some working and others gossiping. Destiny, the woman at the front desk, was moody towards me. She angrily asked what my name was which is odd​ since she​ nor the other receptionist think it was important to get my name when I walked in and told me twice to go sit down. She expressed that it was my fault for not registering upon arrival and for not being seen by the doctor. I reminded her of what happened and that I needed to be at work by noon so I would be running late if I stayed any longer to which she replied that I could stay as a walk-in appointment and be seen by noon. I expressed my concern about having to wait that long since I had been asked to go to my appointment while fasting and I was definitely in need of medical attention at that point. She replied with an attitude and began to argue with me about how I did not register and how I should have made sure that I was being registered instead of sitting down. I went outside as I was not allowed to use their restroom and checked my blood sugar which was in the 70's. I called and reported them and just as I was in the middle of making my report, their manager called me. I made the report but it seems like they would rather I go back or to a different clinic of my choice under their Clinica Mi Doctor. I was given an appointment for the following day. I returned their managers call and the receptionist had given her side of the story saying that I never came up to them and simply walked out. How would she know who I was if I had walked out and not come up to them? I went to the other appointment and guess what? They had no idea about the appointment. It didn't show up on my app either. Also, the patient portal app has the option to sign in to the clinic and I'm guessing that doesn't work either because I tried to sign in just in case through the app after sitting down. The appointment also disappeared​ shortly after I went outside the clinic. I don't think I'll ever come back. The doctor that first saw me was great but the rest of the staff needs to work on their attitudes and get training on how to interact​ with patients.
