I love the decor in this hair studio too. It is in the heart of Old Town Clovis, and it honestly gives the feel like you are parking in a neighborhood and being graciously welcomed into someone's lovely home! I trust Chelsey 100% to care for my hair and continually help it to evolve. Starting originally with very dark naturally & box dyed hair, & mismatched lengths from older hairstyles, I told Chelsey my vision of what I'd love- soo happy to share that after seeing her for awhile, I now have flowy, light brown/blond hair with much brighter money piece strands framing my face! On different appointments, I enjoy services from her including root touch-ups, toner, deep conditioning, blonding, haircuts, and styles. Seriously, I feel so amazing after I leave her chair each time! As far as Illuniminate as a whole....getting back to the decor- simple, clean, chic, and so comfortable! There is a very cute sitting area, but honestly I don't hang out in there because I never wait for her, she is professional, punctual, explains processes, and works with you to truly give you the style experience that you want. Definitely check out Illuminate, and especially, in my opinion, an extremely talented & kind hair stylist, Chelsey!

The process was gentle with minimal discomfort, which I really appreciated. On top of the quality service, everyone was friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure I was happy before I left. Great prices, excellent customer service, and consistently beautiful results. If you're looking for a reliable threading spot in the 559 area, I highly recommend giving R&G Threading Bar a try. I'll definitely be coming back, no doubt about it!

I came to work straight from my appointment with her (I'm a musical theatre performer) and I would not stop getting compliments. I didn't have to do anything to my eye make up and I don't foresee doing anything for the next two-three weeks. Also, her prices are excellent. For what she does and how confident I now feel her services are invaluable. If you reach out to her, she'll get in touch right away and make sure to help you as much as you need.
