We should all age gracefully and this company helps me do it. It's my favorite place to visit even on my lunch break. One of the people offering the service is a nurse practitioner. She was so friendly, personal, and fun. Really easy to talk to and didn't make me feel uncomfortable. I did a wax and a body wrap. The body wrap did exactly what I wanted it to. While I had some reservations because the interaction felt very transactional, I ultimately liked the idea of an all-female team. Three months went by without a single word from them until my pre-op consultation including no reminder to bring the remaining cash payment. I had barely stepped foot inside the office before they cut me off, demanding the remaining balance with zero warmth or professionalism. I reminded them I would be paying in cash as I had already told them before, but since I hadn't brought it with me, I told them I would have to bring it back later that week. My surgery was only a little over 2 weeks away, so I felt locked in despite the cold environment. Shortly after, I received devastating news that my father was rushed to the hospital. I immediately gave the office a courtesy call, left a voicemail to explain the emergency, and let them know I would bring the cash by the following day. Instead of any human decency or understanding, I received a voicemail stating that if payment wasn't received by the end of the day, they would cancel my appointment. Because I was entirely focused on caring for my father in the hospital, I didn't see the voicemail until the next day. I still rushed over to drop off the money, and while there, I shared my honest feedback about their shocking lack of empathy, especially for a customer spending over $6,000. They then called me the following day to cancel my procedure entirely, offering a full refund ONLY IF I signed a waiver releasing my right to share my experience. They tried to silence me while my father was still lying in a hospital bed with severe health conditions, which they were fully aware of. My money felt like it was being held from me just to force my compliance. The transactional behavior and complete lack of compassion from this practice are staggering. It is so sad that a business run by women, which presumably prides itself on supporting women, would treat a patient this way during a family medical crisis. I refuse to sign ANYTHING to be silenced.... it wasn't until I had to go down the legal route, 3 weeks later I finally got my remaining deposit back. Thankfully, I was able to find an amazing surgeon elsewhere, where the experience was night and day. Save your money and your peace of mind, stay far away from this practice. Not just in and out, unless that is what you are after, which is the case sometimes, but other times, they are good to sit and chat, and make sure you are seeing the progress you are after. Only issue with this location is the parking, which is really rough. They share a small lot with several other businesses and essentially have 5 - 6 spaces for their patrons, and those fill up fast. I showed my usual laser tech in Maryland which also does the part for a similar price and they mentioned the tech missed a lot of parts. If I paid for a region I expect them to laser the ENTIRE region. I will try to go in for another treatment with a new tech hopefully and explain my frustration; however, if they still either 1) don't own up to the fact they missed regions I have pictures to prove or 2) do the same job again I will ask for a refund. The parts that were lasered the hair fell out cleanly so the laser does work but there were bald spots and then full hairy spots where they missed. Pending how things go I will update my review.
