The artists are not only insanely talented but also genuinely care about the work they put on your skin. My artist took the time to really listen to what I wanted, offered thoughtful suggestions, and made sure every detail was intentional. The linework is bold and clean, the color is vibrant, and the piece healed beautifully. You can tell they take pride in their craft. The atmosphere is relaxed but professional, and the whole process felt comfortable from start to finish. If you're looking for quality work that lasts and artists who truly respect the art of tattooing, Tropical Tattoo is the place to go.

I have to get someone else to touch up my tat from her. Apparently she is the only one who works, works hard and has work ethics and she certainly doesn't want you texting her! She works so hard she can't respond by emoji even. I was accused of being entitled when I wanted to finish the tribute to my late husband. She is very defensive, uppity, and I quote "Don't you ever fucking step foot in this shop again." All because she doesn't read people well and again, she is the only one who works. Period. AND, the tattoo really needs a touch up with their ink. Great start with a very very bad ending. Tropical Tattoos are legendary. Do yourself a favor. Go there but not to her.

They take both walk ins and appointments, but of course it's always best to make an appointment if you don't want to wait and want to take some time working on the design. They're very good about working with you and ensuring the design you want is what you get. Very clean establishment with quite the rockability vibe. In all, I would definitely go back again and always recommend it to my friends.

By 1:00pm, no one else arrived, so I said "my time and money are also valuable" and I walked out.

I showed up to have my daughter's ears pierced and the piercer had just left. They asked if I had the form. I did. They took my name and number and said he would text me when he got back. I didn't get a text, so I went back and I was told they don't pierce under 16. That would have been nice to know when I called and asked if they pierced minors or when I stopped by the first time with my 12 year old. Just a fellow Hoosier trying to support another Hoosier. The place had great reviews, but all employees need to be aware of their piercing policy. Luckily, they recommended a great place down the way.

They have many tattoo artists who are talented and accommodating, piercing services, waxing services, massages, and lash services, too! Also, the owner, Brittany is super sweet and you can feel the positive atmosphere in her shop. I recently took part in Morgan's Adopt a Dragon flash deal. Basically, you can "adopt" a dragon for $75. Morgan already had plenty of dragons pre-drawn with different varying looks with added color and/or fire coming out of its mouth. All of the styles she drew are $75 and I got a cute certificate of adoption! Suuuuppperrr cute. This was my first tattoo and my experience with Morgan was a 10/10. She is super sweet, funny and does not mind taking off the stencil a few times to make sure you're happy. I am totally going back for more tattoos! On top of getting my tattoo here, I get my Brazilian wax from Lucy Chiriboga! Your first Brazilian is $25 and then after that it's $50. She's literally amazing and super gentle! I would highly recommend coming to her if you need waxing done. Also, The Plastic Flamingo is having a Flock Party on March 29th, 2026 from 1100 to 1900! They'll have $75 flash tattoos, piercings, lash lifts and tints as well as a waxing special.
