I wanted to really get a dragonfly tattoo, and got a recommendation to head over to Shamrock. Before I traveled I made an appointment, and the day I went in, seemed I had the date wrong, but the artist Alberto was just so hella chill, friendly and accommodating. He helped me telling me that there were no worries as I profoundly apologized for the misunderstanding. He right away drew my tattoo and took his time asking me if I liked the placement. We chatted and the vibe and overall experience was great! He added the shading and made it 10x better than I had it imagined. I'm giving 5 stars because Brandon is SUPER TALENTED, he did a cover up that couldn't have turned out better if he tried! Brandon is amazing! I have serious concerns though with Louis from Shamrock...he actually went back through the books, took the phone numbers from tattoo clients and literally blew my phone up trying to sell solar panels for our home...SUPER CRINGY!!! He literally called at least 5 times a day for two weeks straight with multiple Oviedo phone numbers...very annoying as you don't expect your tattoo parlor to look up your name, number, FIND YOUR ADDRESS, and call incessantly!! read more

Giving this a 1 star bc I do generally love the tattoo I got at Shamrock Tattoo with Bob. However the tattoo has a mistake which was not spotted until I got home & really looked it over. I was charged $200 for this tattoo which is pretty over priced compared to what other tattoo artist in the area have said. (Only lines with no shading or color) This tattoo was in the shape of a triangle with 3 points. I went in to discuss this problem with bob & he seemed very unconcerned & that this is what I wanted and that this is how the picture is that I showed him, and now wants me to pay shop minimum which is $80 to fix HIS work. The pictures are posted of what I wanted & what I got. (Again I love the tattoo but as you can see one of the points are missing/ not built up enough) he even offered to bring it down to $50 but this is not something I should have to pay for when it was the artist mistake. He also told me he did exactly what the picture showed, which I guess you can be the judge of.... The mistake is the top tip of my triangle doesn't come to a tip, it's very rounded as if it's missing the whole tip. read more

I've got quite a few tattoos that were done by different artists in different states. I had a walk in session this evening and from the moment I walked in until the moment I left, everyone was welcoming and very personable. The place itself smelled and looked extremely clean. Hands down the best experience I've had so far at any tattoo shop. Shout out to Bob Marrama for the tattoo and for the hilarious conversation! My daughters boyfriend went here to get a shoulder tattoo when he was visiting this summer. I am reporting there experience. The place is clean and comfortable and the artist was very receptive to what he wanted. It took 4 hours of chair time and cost him $350 + tip. I personally do not have any tattoo's but can appreciate the art work. It looked very nice. If I ever get one I would consider coming here after there experience. read more

They called back promptly and invited us to come on in when they open. We were warmly welcomed and introduced to our artist, Glen. He took our artwork to the back and had the best insight on size and design. During the tat, Glen consistently checked in on how we were doing and had a steady hand for my delicate design. So after waiting, and waiting, and waiting, I finally decided that I was ready for my first tattoo. A good friend of mine who has enough tattoos to look like he knows what he's doing recommended this shop to me. At first I was a little hesitant because it's tucked away in the back of a half empty business strip, not really close to anything and unless you know exactly where you're going you'll probably miss it. But I still trusted his judgement and boy was I pleasantly surprised. I dealt with the owner of the shop Jeff, he, unlike most artists I've met was super friendly and didn't pick fun at the fact that I was getting my first tattoo and was visibly nervous. Instead, he listened to everything I wanted and spent a good while going over and re going over small details that I wanted changed. I ended up getting the tattoo that night and I felt like he gave me a good deal for the size of the design. The shop itself is immaculate, which is what you want to see, lots of artwork all over and all of the other artists were just as nice as the owner. All in all it was a good experience and I will definitely go back there if I ever have the urge to get another one. Even after a few months had passed I went back in with a friend for his tattoo, and to my surprise Jeff still remembered me and was asking about my tattoo. :) read more

I wanted a tattoo that was something like a mother's/grandmother's ring and still fit my style. I made an appointment with Bob and he took a design I found and recreated it to my taste. There are several reasons Ormond Beach is lucky to have this gem of a tattoo shop in their 'hood. The staff is very friendly, as a woman who enjoys her ink, I felt very safe with the staff. The entire parlor is very clean. I love being able to be entertained by all or the different artists books, sheets of tattoos, all of the Chicago sports memorabilia and especially being able to stand under the Clark & Addison street signs. Glen was my artist and he listened to everything I wanted from my tattoo, from size, design and placement. He was gentle, quick and efficient. His line work is damn fine and his conversation kept me interested in meeting him as an artist, as well as keeping me comfortable as a client. I would highly recommend getting an appointment for your ink rather than walking in. We came from Chicago and called a week ahead to make an appointment. They had our ideas in hand prior to us arriving. The shop was ready for our appointment and we didn't wait long for the drawing. We will definitely be returning next time we are in town. I just wanted something simple to remind me of something and I know I was in no way going to challenge any of these guys on creativity with what I wanted. Jeffrey was great with me and I talked about my concerns about where I wanted to get my new ink, and it was my rib cage but I was concerned about it hurting so was going to move it elsewhere, but he said to me, always go with your first instinct. He changed the font and made it smaller so it wouldn't take as long and although yes it hurt, I love where it is and the font he created the saying for me in! Great group of guys and great place.
