I have had the upmost amazing experience buying my first home ! Huge thanks to Virtuallending for such a smooth process

I did not have a good experience with this company. I am surprised and suspicious of the recent 5 star reviews. Though I will say that those reviews are referencing a person named Janet with whom I did not work. I agree with the review of Mike G of 4/2/24. This company drags the process and leaves customers in the dark. As Mike G states, their business ethics are terrible. The people who worked on my loan application did not follow through and did not respond to phone calls, or email and text messages in a timely manner. Even when I was sending them documents and information that they had requested. I was often left in the dark for weeks at a time. I have refinanced my property in the past. Every other lender with whom I have worked, was in regular contact. Every other lender was on top of the process and kept me regularly informed. I had confidence in the other lenders with whom I have worked. It was like we were working together to get my loan funded and approved. My experience with virtual lending was the complete opposite. It was 180 degrees different. One of the people assigned to my account, the lender's assistant, would regularly tell me to be patient and to bear with them. Yet this person set up her cell phone so that customers could not leave voice mail messages. If she did not want to take the call, I would get an outgoing message stating that she was not available and to call back later. Accordingly, I was at her mercy as to whether or not we would connect. It should also be noted that they all seemed to have different phone numbers. In order to reach my lender, I had two phone numbers for him. Which he never answered. When my lender did not respond, I called the phone number listed on their website. A different person, who identified himself as a supervisor, always answered that phone. Then the lender's assistant had a different phone number. Notably, none of them were ever in the office at the same time. I am of the impression that they are all independent contractors who work remotely. That virtual lending is not a real business entity or company. There is no hierarchy and no accountability. In fact, about six weeks ago, I asked the person who always answers the website phone number to have someone from upper management call me. He said he was the only person available at that time. I told him it was fine if management got back to me in a few hours. He agreed to have someone from "upper management" contact me. Here we are approximately 6 weeks later, and I never received a call from upper management. Probably because they do not exist. During that same phone call, I mentioned that my lender was not returning my calls. The person who always answers the website line, and who identified himself as a supervisor, became argumentative. He told me that my lender had signed on many new clients. I explained to this person that it is not OK to abandon existing clients for new clients. That the lender still has an obligation to do competent work for his pre existing clients. I said the same thing to the lender's assistant, mentioned above. When I did not hear from her for over a week, I messaged her and told her that in my profession we have an ethical obligation to respond to client inquiries and to keep them informed. And, that it is an ethical violation to take on more work then we can handle. I told her I wondered if there were similar ethical obligations in the mortgage lending industry. Shortly thereafter, she contacted me and told me that my loan was not approved. My loan had been conditionally approved weeks before. The alleged reason for the ultimate non approval was because of litigation of a run of the mill slip and fall on the condominium complex where my condo is located. The complex is in litigation with the plaintiff in that slip and fall matter. That reason does not make sense. I supplied the lender's assistant with evidence that the condominium complex has $11,000,000.00 of insurance available to cover that law suit. The includes a $1,000,000.00 general fund for personal injuries. And, a $10,000,000.00 umbrella policy. I also supplied a letter from the insurance company's lawyer stating that they will cover the complex in that litigation, and that it should be settled within the policy limits. I may never know the true reason why my loan was not approved. Whether it was because I complained about their lack of communication and follow through. Or because of the slip and fall law suit on the condominium complex where my property is located. What I do know is that these lenders dragged their heals and gave me a false sense of hope that my loan would be approved. I lost time and money waiting on them. They knew that getting this loan funded was important to me. As Mike G says, they have terrible business ethics. This goes beyond bad customer service. It is customer abandonment. It is best to stay away from virtual lending. read more

Idely the company representative claimed to be able to help with a home approval and send me on a goose chase for all types of documents. She did not explain or provide details that she will be reckless with my credit and immediately I started getting calls from India about home loan approval. She told me she couldn't help me and ignored me ever since I've been asking for a copy of my credit report for over a month. She has ignored my text messages, calls and emails. I find it disgusting when she assumed and decided she will not make money off of me to ignore me and dismiss me. Refusing to give me a credit report which I am entitled to. In the beginning she was so nice but after assuming my student loan will disqualify me she totally dismissed me afterwards like I do not even exist when she decided/figure she will not make a sale with me. What a disgrace. read more

Terrible Business Ethics. It was a terrible mistake hiring this company to finance my house, they kept dragging the process over and over. When I Inquired , I did not receive any response. The Extra Fees added to the loan by the time they were ready to close escrow. Don't do the same mistake. read more

It was a September evening sitting in the patio of Jetties restaurant overlooking the Lake, Tall Pine Trees & beautiful Mountain Cabins of Lake Arrowhead. I turned and told my sister-in-law "One day I will say, I own that cabin." Fast forward 7 months, I received a message from Janet Bernal with Virtualending that read CONGRATULATIONS, YOUR LOAN HAS BEEN FUNDED. Thanks to the guidance, excellent communication and effectiveness of Janet and Virtualending, my "one day" turned into THE DAY! I recommend Janet over & over again and God willing, my husband and I will reach her again for a future loan. Let's just say the experience with this company and Vanessa Sharp was the worst experience i will never go through the home buying process again. All I got was constant lies and no concrete information. I was told to do certain things and I paid money and did them all and in the end came out with nothing. Stay away from this company and do your research like I should of done but being referred to them by what I thought was a good realtor turned out to be the worst mistake and costed me thousands. read more

A perfect example of Bait and Switch, this is my Personal experience with this company. Refinancing the house took over 2 months to finish, when they promise to close within 21 days. We agreed on a certain finance charge, and when the time came to sign the final documents, price was 3 times what we agreed on. Add to that, a case of Identity theft, when you send them Your financial information, and they use it to get what they want. That is when I received a call from my old Lender about someone from this company (Ananda Vargas) calling and providing my confidential information to access my account. Promises were not Kept, Numbers were not honored, Work and moral Ethics have been ignored. This is my Personal experience with this company. I urge anyone who is thinking of buying or refinancing their house to do their diligent research before picking their lender. read more

Tony and Sam are amazing. Both go above and beyond and always make themselves available around your time.

I took a chance on reaching out to VirtualLending via Facebook and Fabian started contacting me through Facebook Messenger then texts. At the beginning of process when I first contacted them in the late summer, rates were volatile so we put a pause on things to ensure the best rate and least amount of closing costs. Once things calmed down, it was a really easy and straightforward process all through email and text. I was able to submit my docs to the Quicken Loan Portal which made it really easy and convenient. Lastly, I was able to e-sign almost 75% of the documents before the notary came, making the entire closing process about 15 mins which is about 1/4 of the time it's usually does. Now that I have my mortgage with Quicken it's easy to manage and pay. Overall it was a 4.5 stars experience. read more

I saw the ad in Facebook and got a prompt response to my inquiry. From the start of the process to the very end, Tiffany was nothing short of amazing with her level of detail and mastery of the process. She was also super helpful in brainstorming the options so that I ended up getting the best deal. I have gone through the refinance process a few times in the past, both with big banks and online companies but I can confidently say that I have never experienced this level of service. Ananda, my loan processor was also very prompt and responsive, even over weekends. Overall, I would highly recommend Tiffany to anyone who is looking for financing a new home or refinancing an existing loan. Great experience folks! Keep it up! read more

Saw this add on Facebook and tried it out to refinance my current home mortgage. I was connected with Tiffany who was probably the best person I have ever had to deal with in this type of process. I have purchased a home twice in my life, refinanced 3 times, and the people at Virtual Lending have been the easiest to deal with and most responsive. They were NOT pushy at all which is what I appreciated the most. I am thankful to Tiffany and I think I will always come back to her if I ever had to go through this process again. Also, my loan closed very quickly! I signed the intent to proceed on Feb 25 and I did my closing on March 15. read more

I refinanced my home with Isaac and I am very happy that I did that with virtual lending. Isaac was always there whenever I needed his help and he answered all my questions even some questions were not related to refinancing. I must say I got the best rates with some cashback in the form of lender's credit :). My loan was closed within 20 days. I strongly recommend virtual lending, Isaac and his team are awesome ! read more

I've gone through three refinances with three different companies in the last two years and this is by far the best one! I received excellent service from Fabian and his team. He was available day and night and always got back to my questions quickly. As for rates, I have checked several lenders and Virtualending provided one of the best ones for my primary home. Everything was done online and through emails and text which was super convenient. They are super organized and quick to close. I was able to close on my loan in under three weeks when other companies were so backlogged and took over four months to close. I am so glad to have found them and will definitely be back when I need them again. read more
