It may be a combination of this summer's extremely hot tempatures in July, an overabundance of rain or that fact that the course is "for sale". The course itself is in OK condition but has looked better in past years. The owners are trying to sell the course - the for sale sign doesn't specify that the golf course is being sold as a golf course or if it's being sold for development. In any event, I think that the owners aren't putting a lot of money into the course at this point and are generally doing just the basic maintenance and upkeep. But, as I said, it's generally in OK - just not great - condition. This course has its share of hills but is still a very walkable course (the group I golf with generally likes to walk). The course is challenging but not overly difficult and is a fun course to play. Golf is a good sport during this pandemic and can be played safely while maintaining proper social distancing. On the flip side, however, also due to the pandemic, most of the golf courses are busier this summer than in past summers. Good course for a fun round of golf.

The greens, t-balls and fairways are almost always in great shape. We were there for what turned out to be our final round of the season in late October. It was an exceptionally nice late fall day and the grounds crew was working hard to "blow the leaves" off the fairways and greens. As I've already said - this is one of my favorite courses.

However, since some irrigation problems were solved the course conditions have improved dramatically. Fairways & greens are in great shape. My only complaints about course conditions relate to 1) some of the bunkers are not playable, with standing water & heavy, muddy sand, though that is a huge issue at almost every public course, and 2) the failure of golfers to fix ball marks on greens. The 2d point isn't the course's fault, it's the lazy and inconsiderate golfers who seem to be everywhere these days.

Most hit par and the ones who didn't never hit more than 8. Never coming here again, maybe it's cause we had minorities in our group we were treated so hostile. Would not recommend having your wedding or special event here. Sorry we're not pro golfers, but with the extremely low quality of the course you would think that wouldn't be a requirement here. Employee could have asked the group behind us that was taking 2 minutes per hole to play through us instead of asking us to skip holes or leave without playing the number of holes we paid for..... We walk the course, and I will say that this course is the most difficult for spectators. The car paths are very steep in many areas, so walking can be difficult. This tournament is very corporate attended with hospitality homes and tents. Lots of people. Food and drinks are pricey. You can't bring your own food, but bring a golf chair. People do sit in the grass. We've seen lots of changes throughout the years. Come, follow the rules and have a quiet good time at a green.

Lots of college aged spectators who weren't spectating. Instead, it was a party. We skipped the Sunday round and we didn't buy tickets for 2026. Hope it goes back to the great tournament it was.
