The course fairways were burnt, and there were many dried-out dirt spots in the middle of the fairway. The greens were not cut and rolled. Had crabgrass growing on them. It's been a number of years since I played Homestead Springs Golf Course, but I remembered it being in much better condition and at a reasonable price. There's a nice size parking lot at the base of the water tower, you can't miss it from the road. There are long and short tees to choose from all through the course- and some holes are quite a challenge of you're new to disc golf. Now, to the details: There are concrete pads to shoot from Mach III baskets Markers to show you how the hole is laid out The course is Dog friendly There IS a restroom and a drink machine in the small pavilion on-site. 18 holes, and most holes have arrows to point you to the next hole, but UDisc is a good tool to use to get you to the next hole. When you compare it to other courses in the city, like Hambrick (Hoover) this is significantly better maintained. There are flat holes, wooded holes, bushes and HILLS. The final 2 holes are uphill, and a fun challenge. Beginner or pro, you won't be disappointed spending an hour or so at this course.

I was standing in line to pay for a drink and check in for the round and the staff member had the person behind me pay for their round and refused to let me pay in the order we lined up because "I knew what I did." Like he was exercising some vigilante justice. This was literally my first time there. The executive tee boxes were just dirt piles and the first green didn't even have a hole cut on the green. Would never recommend going.
