The men working in the shop could be a little bit more social and personable but other than that its a great course if you don't want a full 18 holes or just something quick to get out of the house for a little bit. I booked a tee time online and arrived 10min before and they tried to tell me it was 30min later than I had booked, despite me having the Email to prove. After the 30min I went to check in and was bounced back and forth between multiple gentlemen in order to finally be allowed into the building to pay (due to Covid there was someone manning the door). The staff just seemed like all grumpy old men.

We had a group go around us and the 3some that was playing in front of us because they were playing so slow. Condition-3 grounds under repair on two holes. Some of the tee boxes were in need of some work. Greens were well maintained but not perfect. Some bunkers had small rocks in them. Facilities/Amenities-4 Practice range, chipping/ putting green Newer clubhouse with an outdoor patio And a small bar, minimal food and snacks. Older carts Challenge of course-3 Overall Play-Tough course There were 2 holes that I felt were unnecessarily difficult with the design. A par 3 that set upon a hill with a valley below and trees surrounding it. A 4 that could've easily been a par 5. Majority of the holes were doglegs so you really don't need to play driver off tee. Challenge came from hazards mainly all the trees. In depth review This course is one six public courses in Columbus. As someone from Northeast Ohio, Summit county specifically, I've realized just how spoiled we are with quality public courses. However, I will say, Champions gives some of the best courses in our area a run for their money. This course offers some significantly challenging holes while complementing the difficulty with some truly stunning views. While this course didn't have much water there were a fair amount of trees and sand bunkers. Most of the courses played on downhill slopes. There were also several doglegs that presented opportunities to go off the tee with clubs other than driver. On course play alone I would recommend champions but they also come equipped with a newly renovated clubhouse, patio, driving range, and chipping and putting green. The clubhouse staff were cordial but not overlay friendly. Thea starter gave great tips and explanations for the cart path rules. Recommendations to the course staff: The only issue I had with the course was that they had 2 holes with grounds under repair that took up about 30 yards of the fairway. But they did provide signs that let you know how far to get to that area and how far to clear. My issue was that they just hosted the USGA Junior tournament and that had to be an issue for those players.Also, I don't think that any course should be charging the full amount while there's major repairs going on. If I don't get the full experience then there should be some sort of discount. That's just my humble opinion. This is more common practice at courses in northeast Ohio. Overall: I would go back to see the course fully repaired and hope there isn't a ton wind.

There are three disc golf courses in the immediate Columbus area, and this is by far the best there…read moreis to offer. Both Griggs and Hoover are admittedly free, but this is definitely one of those "you get what you pay for" situations. As to the course, they no longer have an attendant or a disc rental option, which is sadface, and they do go by the honor system with a lockbox for payment ($1.50 per round, or $5 all day). The course is well cared for, and no crazy overgrown areas, nor any confusion when it comes time to go to the next "hole." Likewise, the beginning of each hole has a handy dandy picture of the lay out and distances involved. They've added a water fountain at the 9th hole, which is nice, but the water tastes like wet ash (I'm guessing, here), but is wet and colder than I'd have expected. Depending on the size of your party, the course takes only a little over an hour to play through, but be forewarned, there is normally several other groups playing at any given time, so time may vary. Amusing side note, I do believe this was the first time in many a visit where I did not notice any trace of skunkery about (you can figure that out on your own, I trust). First off, you are greeted by either one or both of the owners, Ryan and Maria. They are always upbeat and a pleasure to be around. They make sure you have everything you need or want (even your choice of music genre). They take the time to go over the safety rules and show you have to access the many features of the simulation equipment. Speaking of the equipment, it is top of the line. where most simulators are mere ground based launch monitors, Virtual Fairways uses the GC Hawk system that employs an over head arch that houses the various lasers, radar and high speed cameras. By having this equipment overhead, Lefty's can play without having to adjust anything. All the basic information is displayed after each shot like other Sims but you get other data only found at high end club outfitters. Ball speed, launch angle, azimuth (degrees off the target line) back spin and side spin RPM. Not that everyone will find all this data useful but I do. They also offer spirits, beer and non alcoholic beverages at less than local pub prices (dont tell them this please) so you get the whole package. This place is tastefully decorated with golf memorabilia and other golf related decor (the bathroom walls are even entertaining). The bays are all well lit at the matts and they provide hi boy seating and cocktail tables to enjoy your adult beverage while not playing and a nice metal rack for your bag and other golf garb. This is truly a great indoor golf experience. After my first visit I decided to get their monthly membership. Ryan and Maria have something special here and I urge all golfers (and non golfers too) to give it a try. Whack some balls, play Pebble Beach, have a beer in the air conditioning.

The location is nice as it is right off the main road which makes it feel much safer than off some dark side street. This is a 4 bay indoor golf simulator. It is a non-staffed facility so you get a pass code for the door and another for the simulator when you make your reservation. It is a clean and inviting facility with very nice turf to hit from. Even though it's large high ceiling area the sound from other bays is not very audible. Each bay is large so you feel comfortable being able to swing all out. The simulator has different options like driving range, course play and even some challenging games. The simulator is very easy to use and allows you to switch modes easily. Cost is by the hour and is definitely reasonable. Customers are allowed to bring in their own food and drink or you can purchase from the vending machine. I definitely will be back over the winter to work on my swing as it needs a lot of help.
