Before moving forward with any recommended care from Dr. Vargas I suggest that you get a second opinion as it seems their main goal is to trap you into a lengthy and expensive treatment plan. Watch out! These people send you bills even after you've paid for everything under the pretext of "it was an estimated". The times I was served there were people complaining because they kept coming bills they had already paid. Now is second time that I receive a bill (I already paid everything), $ 200 more on this price that they told me was my co-payment. I will never go back. ¡Cuidado! Dr. Vargas keeps a very clean office and exceptionally friendly staff. I came here because of a Google offer and was quite surprised how well I was treated and the amount of attention they gave me. Just a heads up though...the building is NOT well addressed. Myself and 2 others walked around the businesses in circles trying to find the correct office. Hopefully they will correct this issue soon. Luckily, the fact that I ended up about 15 minutes late because of this did not affect my appointment at all. I purchased in-house insurance from them. Covers Examination,X-rays and Cleanings. They performed the examination and X--Rays but refused to do the Cleanings saying I didn't qualify and would need Deep extensive cleanings and other work. They told me that I required all the work ($2,060.00 worth of work) and I got it in writing twice. On 12/1/2021 after writing again to them to schedule a regular cleaning I got a response "Upon reviewing your file, your treating doctor has indicated that you are not eligible for a regular teeth cleaning and will need to schedule deep cleaning therapy before proceeding with any other treatment" I scheduled an appointment with Greater Washington Dentistry. Had examination,X-Rays and regular cleaning done. I was examined by 2 Dentists and I repeatedly asked them about the work required by Virginia Dental Group. Guess what no deep cleaning was required, I didn't require multiple fillings and other work required by Virginia Dental Group! I stopped the charge for Dental insurance because they did not perform the cleaning as required. Now they write that they are referring the matter to collections! read more

I cannot say enough about this practice. It has been a pleasure working with everyone here. So much that after we relocated to NJ, we still came back for a follow up visit. From the first day my wife came to the office for a consultation, till the actual procedure and the follow up, they paid 100% attention to detail. Roger was very patient, quite detailed and took perfect impressions. Dr Vargas too was very attentive to detail and did such an outstanding job on her Invisalign and veneers. As an icing on the cake, they were able to work with us in terms of payment arrangements and provided us options. My wife is 100% satisfied with their work and I am too! Unlike most, I like visiting the dentist. It feels good to take care of myself and my health. Dr. Vargas and her team are very friendly and make for a good experience. I called the receptionist to schedule my appointment; and luckily, they had an appointment for me the next day. It was a bit tricky to locate their suite, so I called and the receptionist said their plaque was being redone, so to look for Suite 43C. Made it inside, and the receptionist was very friendly. Completed my paperwork and was taken back for the dental assistant (Roger) to take get me settled and take my X-rays. (I thought it was really funny that Latin/Reggaeton music was playing in the background. For some, that might be off-putting, but I actually love the music. It's energetic.) Then Dr. Vargas joined to carry out the exam and cleaning. I was impressed that she used both the ultrasonic (electric) and manual scaler to clean my teeth. She also performed the polishing and flossing, which is often done by an assistant. And the best part of it, they weren't pushy with their sales or "We hope you'll come back and see us!" And they extended the AmazonLocal deal ($39) to my second visit, which I will definitely be using 6 months from now. I can't speak to the other doctors' service, but I was quite pleased with Roger and Dr. Vargas! read more

I found this office via a groupon, and I couldn't be more pleased. My wife and I have both gone and been thrilled with our treatments there, so much so that we have already sent several friends their way. We both see Dr. Rueda, but having met Dr. Vargas I would feel great seeing her as well. Their prices are quite reasonable and they worked with us to make the large financial burden (we both needed a LOT of work) easier to manage. The entire staff is friendly, everyone speaks perfect English, the studio is incredibly clean and up to date and they make dental procedures as pleasant as that sort of thing could possibly be. After 15 years of dental neglect, I am thrilled to get on top of all of my issues and after that I will be visiting this office every six month religiously and advise anyone else to do the same. read more

Dr. Vargas is amazing. I stumbled across her office after my current dentist said I need crowns and veneers on my top 8 teeth, and he quoted me at costs of nearly 10K!!! Dr. Vargas was able to offer me half because of a current special, and to top it all off the work was done quickly because she has the cerec machine on site. With my old dentist he would have had to send the impressions away, and the procedures would have taken more than a week for DOUBLE the cost. Well, with Dr. Vargas, the work was done within 48 hours. Waited way past scheduled time, first off. Then waited in the exam room for what seemed kike another 30 min overall. After falling asleep and seeing the Dr., assistants, secretary all helping others that came after me I finally saw the Dr.. What a disappointment because I never got the consultation I went there for along with the cleaning that never even got done, but yet I had to pay for it. I was told I had no cavities, then I needed fillings and I feel all because I told the Dr. I needed a clearance for surgery and all the sudden I need all these things that cost a bunch of money knowing I'm self paying . Went to this office because of a specific specialty, but got taken for a loop and a grip of cash. Not a good look at all doc. Oh and instead of a receipt I got a copy of what they want to squeeze out of me...boo! read more

Terrible experience for my wife and I. The dentist was flossing my wife's teeth and told her she has periodontal disease because she had just a tiny bit of bleeding from her gums and that she can't use her Groupon and needs to pay something around $133. My wife brought me back to talk to her and right away I knew that she was trying to get over on her because her English isn't perfect, being from Brazil. I had an appointment scheduled and canceled as well. The office is tiny and every customer I heard paying the receptionist was paying high charges for dental work that probably isn't necessary. I wouldn't go back nor recommend this site for your dogs dental work. read more

I can't say enough about Dr. Vargas and her staff, there's really so many aspects of her practice that really put them well above other places that I have been. First and foremost, her work is impeccable. I had a significant amount of work done and she took the time to make certain that every little aspect of that work was done as well as it could be. I can't express enough how happy I am with the way my teeth turned out. Aside from her work, for me the most impressive part of her practice was her staff and her interaction with them. I feel like a VIP every time that I go into her office and I genuinely appreciate how helpful they've been during each and every interaction that I've had with them. But Dr. Vargas' patience with her staff and her easy style and demeanor are really what impressed me to the most. She's instructive to her staff and she's patient with them taking the time to show them exactly why she's doing something the way that she's doing it so that they understand how to provide better service to her patients. Went here for an intermediate teeth cleaning until I could get back to my dentist in another state. Everything was miserable from the start. Waited 30 minutes for just an xray, then waited another 30 minutes to meet with the dentist, only for him to say I needed $3500 worth of dental work that couldn't wait until I saw my regular dentist and tell me I had 6 cavities (havent had 6 cavities in 30 years of life), then waited 30 more minutes to have my teeth cleaned. At the end they quickly handed me paperwork on payment plans for all of this dental work that I needed. I felt like it was a total scam. I have never had a horrible experience at the dentist in my life and this was just traumatizing. It was almost like if he didnt do the work right away and charge me a small fortune then my teeth would fall out of my head. I went with my gut and waited to see my dentist and I didnt need any of the work that this place recommended. I felt like they were just trying to get one over on me and make a lot of money off of me (I dont have dental insurance). This place is a scam read more

Well, everything started off great ... I called the office to schedule initial consultation regarding veneers . It went good . Receptionist fully explained what to expect during the visit , was very helpful and pleasant to talk to . We went ahead and scheduled an appointment for Tuesday at noon ( ps consultation fee $100 which I guess a normal practice ) . Well, I arrived at 12.10pm to find out that everyone were out of office and it was locked. I waited . And waited . And waited .... Nobody showed up . I called their office again and left the voice mail . Guess what ? Nobody even bothered to call me back explaining what happened and possibly rescheduling our appointment . Wasted 3 hours for absolutely nothing . "Great service" . If they treat potential client like that just imagine what would happen once you give them full payment . I have my teeth cleaned, but turned out to be the same as before. Dr.Rueda is not a dentist to recommend. He said the plague is between the teeth, that's why it is hard to clean.
