Like the other one star review, I was first drawn to this place by the overwhelmingly good reviews on Google about Dr. Song and team. But things changed along time. After a few visits, they pay less and less attention to you. Prior to my fourth visit, I woke up not feeling well. To be responsible for others' health, I called in before their open time to let them know my situation and the potential cancellation. There is no care or mercy but only their insistence on the $50 no-show fee. I fully understand and respect dentists' time and efforts. Thus I've always been on time for the sake of everyone's time. Yet I have no control over my body under the weather. They were in such a hurry to hang up on me, even it was before their earliest appointment. They promised to call back, unfortunately I never hear back from them again. The experience was totally disappointed. Bad communication and ignorance are certainly not the right way to treat your patients. read more

I think Dr. Song is amazing! I have been a patient for 13 years! She helped me with my TMJ; I did Invisalign with her. She cares about her patients and giving them the best service possible. I also love the staff; I never experience any attitude or rudeness from them. I have finally found the dentist for us!!! Highly recommend! Growing up in NOVA, I've had my fair share of bad,decent, and good dental offices. This one is the best one I've been too!! Dr. Song is super personable, informative, and keeps it real with her recommendations. Not only is she good, the dental hygienist is amazingly thoroughly and quick. My wife and I agreed that she did an amazing job with the cleaning. Lastly, the front receptionist was super knowledgeable on what work needed to be done, follow-ups.... and she's the first person who took the time to explain my dental benefits easily. read more

I had a similar experience to the other 1 star review. I was drawn here because of the many glowing reviews. The hygienist did a pretty good job with the basic cleaning, but told me I should consider teeth whitening (random but okay). When Dr. Song came in, she vaguely told me I'd need some dental work done and mentioned some notes for her assistant. I tried to ask her if I had cavities or if she could clarify what exactly the issues were, but she was in such a rush that she didn't explain and just kind of ran out. The front desk tried to force me to make an appointment for all this vague dental work, but I ended up not scheduling anything, because I didn't feel comfortable. read more

Awesome experience!! I love Dr. Song!! I chipped one of my front teeth and she did a great job on patching it back up, quickly and seamlessly. She also treats your dental health as a whole and is very thorough, which I loved. You know how the dentist always says "you need to brush more" and thats it. Dr.Song explained exactly what I was doing wrong, how to improve my brushing with specific techniques, and which specific tooth brush size I should be using. She showed me exactly how right then and there. This was my second time chipping this tooth, the first time, the tooth was left too wide and thick (which I hated) by a pediatric dentist (Dr. Song does everything, but specializes and enjoys cosmetic dentistry). Not only did Dr. Song repair and get my tooth down to the way I liked it, but she even explained why it was originally made to be so wide (compensation for my spacing) and recommended I try invisalign in the future. (I can't afford it right now, but when I can I will definitely have the process done with her!!) I recommend her to everyone! :) read more

Dr Song and her staff are amazing and kind. I have developed dental anxiety from a root canal I had done twenty years ago in Florida without numbing medication from a different dentist(I was young and didn't know any better). In addition, my mouth is not easy to work on as I have been told by many dentists. She has been patient and kind with me during dental procedures. Fact, I dislike going to the dentist with every fiber in my being! I feel like most of them are secret sadist (maybe not so secret). I had an issue and was given an emergency appointment right away. Dr. Song couldn't have been kinder. She took the time to explain everything to me, she was very direct without being rude and most of all sweet and accommodating. I went back for my follow up yesterday and that experience was also pleasent. Anyone that knows me at all...knows that I NEVER say that about the dentist's office. Her staff was also very kind. Since they removed my review on google reviews, I felt I should share my experience here . I don't recommend going to this practice based on my experience. I went there for a basic cleaning last year. The hygienist was nice, but she was rough during it. When it came to the dentist during her examination, she said I needed to get a deep cleaning because of periodontal disease. I had seen my old dentist 6 months prior and nothing was said about this. She proceeded to have her assistant pull up YouTube videos... yes YouTube videos of periodontal disease and show me. They only stopped when I insisted "I got it". I have never had a dentist do that. After it, a different office person pulled me into a separate room to list out the costs of the deep cleaning and what insurance may or may not cover and when do I want to come back for it. Needless to say the estimate wasn't cheap. Since this was my first time there, I decided to get a second opinion from a different dentist. And then a third opinion from another to be on the safe side. Both said absolutely nothing was wrong! It's now been a year and with my most recent dentist visit and xrays again shows nothing is wrong. I don't recommend this practice based on my experience. And suggest you always get a second opinion if a dentist recommends costly procedures on your very first visit to their office when you actually take care of your teeth. There are so many dentist in the area so explore your options. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Song for over 15 years now. She provides great, personalized care and is always friendly and up-to-date on my history even when I haven't seen her for a year or more. Easy access and parking and I've never waited more than 5 minutes. Also she doesn't leave you sitting in the chair for an extended period as I've had happen at other dentists. I have problematic teeth and because of that I am no stranger to dental work over the years. By comparison, I must say Dr. Song is the master at what she does. I found her office by accident and during an emergency, but I'm NOT going elsewhere after finding her. The range of services I received at her office included crown, fillings, bounding of the major kind where 3 or 4 of my front teeth were broken off from a traumatic impact. Each time she fixed my problem - on time, on the spot, and with mastery. She consult me for preferences and provide me options that last. Her army of assistants are proficient and pleasant. I have done multiple fillings and Invisalign treatments with her and she always makes sure I am happy with how my teeth look and feel. Dr. Song is not satisfactory to the happiness of my mouth. fillings would be uncemented, requiring revisits and further bills for the mistakes made in the office. cleanings would become ordeals with frequent and rough pokes and jabs into your gums. it gave me the impression of clumsiness and over confidence that a patient would not complain. i advise against this office if your not a sadist. read more
