The wine was pretty good and they had a good few to pick from and purchase. The charcuterie board also came out pretty quickly. We planned to go back but they no longer host trivia, so I'm not sure when we'll be stopping by again.

Meeting a friend for a glass of wine? Stop here. This little gem checks all the boxes. Service was wonderful!! We ordered 2 glasses of Pinot and the most beautiful charcuterie board I have ever seen....and I have seen a lot! While waiting we walked around the cute shop and they have a little bit of everything. Need some spices....they got them. Try a new olive oil. Yup. Cute little gifts for the foodie in your life. Jams, dips, cheese straws, crackers and Whatchamacalits. If I lived closer I would be here all the time but I am looking forward to coming back. We got the 3 item charcuterie and it came with so much more than what I was expecting. Absolutely delicious.

This location just behind Quaker Steak and Lube is a good location for the local Stoney Creek residents - just leave your front door and 'bam", your there. I suppose prices are reasonable, but I don't buy liquor very frequently so I can't really compare especially since Virginia ABC is the only authorized liquor vendor. Drink responsibly.

The lot and walk up was debris free. I was greeted when I walked in at opening by friendly staff. I found the shelves bare as they are scheduled to receive a truck next day. The store is old and small, but it was clean. Not much on the shelves in the bourbon area, but they did have a favorite Four Roses Small Batch Select in good quality. With no new allocated items I left. I would not bother with this store unless I knew they specifically had what I wanted. But it's a good store if not choosy. 3.5 rounding down.

Nevertheless, I stumbled in here because it was the closest liquor store I could find to home. However, I was impressed. Clean, very well organized with clear, concise signs directing you to your preferred alcohol of choice. As another Yelper pointed out, they have a fantastic selection of quality bourbon. After a lengthy conversation with an employee I was met with disappointment realizing they rarely, if ever, hold tastings. If you're anything like me, you'd kind of like to sample the bourbon you're about to drop nearly a hundred bucks on. Oh well, such is life. I settled on a 375 of Woodford Reserve. In any case, assuming all state run liquor stores are similar, if you too are a bourbon fan, I think you'll be happy here as well. Cheers!

It definitely affected the money I spent here and cost a star. I had never heard of mead before and knew as soon as I saw the place this would have to be a part of my Williamsburg trip. The experience was not near as wild as that of a moonshine tasting in Gatlinburg and not quite as bougie as a wine tasting in the Napa Valley. Mead tasting sits in the neutral middle. Our taste master did a phenomenal job explaining what mead is and how it is used in winemaking and it was not only an interesting new adventure it was very educational. The place is set up three fold. One area as a store, one for tasting and another "bar area". It is decorated in all bee and honeycomb themed art and gives an artisanal vibe. We walked out with some honey but not as much as I would have liked due to the attitude of the little bully.
