Male employee/owner is incredibly rude! The store is dirty and several food items expired.

The Cheese Shop I'm honestly mad at myself for not taking pictures -- because this place is that…read morefun. You can grab a sandwich (lots of great options) and their house dressing alone is worth the stop. Seriously delicious. But the real fun is the cheese counter. You can build your own cheese board, browse all their incredible cheeses and charcuterie options, and then... here's the best part... Take everything downstairs to the cellar, order a glass (or bottle) of wine, and just enjoy. No rush. No fuss. Just good food, good wine, and a great atmosphere. It's one of those spots that feels like an experience, not just a meal. Fun, relaxed, and so, so yum. If you're in Colonial Williamsburg, don't skip this one. Grab cheese, grab wine, and settle in -- you'll be glad you did.

The first level is the market, filled with an abundance of craft beers, drinks, cheeses, breads, sandwiches, deli items, ingredients, and more. The lower level is the tasting room, and there's also outdoor seating available, although it can feel a bit tight. We didn't get a chance to try anything since it was close to closing time, but I can definitely see this place getting super busy on the weekends.

This photo is from my sandwich in 2020--which was delightful. I was so disappointed in my sandwich in 2024 I didn't even take a picture.

Take a trip back in time to the colonial days and discover how modern cocktail recipes came to be. From flaming drinks to simple mojitos, each drink has a historic story of invention and who consumed them. The service is friendly and they are happy to explain everything on the menu. Their genuine passion shines through and the pours are rather generous on the flights. So drivers be aware that you won't be able to finish them! Whiskey & Rum are the primary spirits served, though there was a gin on the menu as well as a few others. The atmosphere is equally period appropriate. Will not disappoint you if this is your vibe!

Quite indicative of the area. With those traditional ways comes some of the plusses and minuses of that era. But that's the fun part imo. First off, you'd be silly to not come here as they gave us our first taste for free. When it comes to unique, this definitely takes the cake. It's hard to explain but the only way to understand the uniqueness of their spirits is to straight up go there and try them. Because they're so unique, many of the 'og' style spirits I had were so far off from the norm. But that's ok. One of them wasn't for me but that's fine. I was just appreciative of being able to try it. Overall, this place is a big win. If you're in the area and are a spirits fan, stop on by! Although I have no doubt that's the intent of decor and ambiance. Repeat customer: yes Dog Friendly: no

Yes-- they also have a gas station that's near the Panera. They also have a Starbucks that accepts mobile orders! It's very clean and organized. I feel like during prime times (e.g., after work), they could add a few more open check out lines to deal with the crowd. The prices aren't the cheapest but I feel like they have decent quality products. They carry "The Real Good" products which I like. Staff members are nice and I've never had an issue regarding customer service.

Went in today and got reminded of why we no longer go. I asked a lady that was standing doing nothing for assistance and she said "I dont work in that department" Picked up a pizza, loaf of bread, 6 pieces of chicken, two 6 piece sushi rolls and some chips and dip and it totaled $75.00, these people have lost their minds. Get Walmart delivery for the same items for $45.00. If you want great service go to the self check out where they watch every person as if they were stealing, so eager to help you to make sure you scan every item but refuse to help you find the items. This place is absolutely the worst customer service on earth. Wasted of our VALUABLE time....and donated to the Billion Dollar Company...by the way, they are owned by Kroger, if you were wondering why Kroger is closing over 60 locations in the US it's so Haris Teeter can rob you blind.
