Compared to other ABC stores, there is not a lot of variety, but you can still find what you're looking. There are a few nicer finds to be had (e.g. Angel's Envy, Pikesville Rye) but not as many rye options as I usually like. They also don't have much in the way of amari but I was happy to have found Campari. You can definitely find what you need if not what you want.

It also sits next to Food Lion Supermarket so it becomes pretty much a ONE STOP shopping location for the essentials. The only drawback is that the store does not have LIQOUR written on the outside and quite frankly the VA ABC sign looks more like a Real Estate store than anything else so it is easily OVERLOOKED. They did mention they will be moving come first of the new year 2017 to a spot just left of FOOD LION same proximity and from the looks of it the store will be standing alone opposed of being part of that strip mall and hopefully the word LIQOUR will be part of the new sign. The 2 ladies inside were friendly and I did mentioned how they were not listed on Google nor Yelp but that I would be happy to put them on the map. So a request has now been made and hopefully they will be on for all to see on Yelp. NO MORE LOSING MONEY THROUGH POTENTIAL SALES. Love helping out local businesses especially when the people running the place seem so friendly. Prices are great. The receipt showed 9 bottles, including one for $60, which I know did not buy. I showed the owner a list I had made of what I had purchased, and he mocked me for it. I requested that he re-ring those items and see if the price came out to over $300. He would not and said he was too busy, although there was nobody else in the store, and basically called me a liar and told me I could take my business elsewhere. He says he has been in business for 35 years and doesn't make mistakes (amazing in 35 years, not ONE mistake). You would think that in 35 years, he would know how to treat a new customer who just spent over $450 in two days. The fact that he would not acknowledge that there could have been a mistake and refused to re-total the wines I purchased tells me something about the operation. He may have gotten my $60, but it will be the last time I purchase anything at Vintage Wines in Harrisonburg. And they never open on time; they kept me waiting 10 minutes the first time and 15 minutes the second time. STAY AWAY, FAR AWAY UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF TOO!
