They would numb me up, cut out a bump, then staple me together and send me on my way. Quick and easy. The scars have been very light and hard to spot, which is good for very visible areas. We made it work and arrived for 9:30 only to see his appointment was changed to 10am. I know mistakes happen and I'm pretty forgiving of business. However the woman that I asked about why his appointment was shifted was rude and condescending. She never offered a simple apology for the lack of organization on their end to get appointments correct in the first place. The therapist (a different woman) was great. However, I would be hesitant to return.

She's a great doctor and I couldn't recommend her enough. From the moment I walked in, I was treated by the service desk with kindness and respect. I was the last patient of the day but you would have thought they were waiting for me all day. Clearly, the employees are treated well and this must be a great place to work if everyone was this engaged. I came in with a year of severe heel pain and was awaiting the worst. Dr. Vander Poel came in and could not have had a better bedside manner. She quickly found what was wrong and it was a simple solution involving exercises and stretching. Following her direction, I was pain free in two days! I feel 10 years younger. If you have foot pain, come here. If you have to drive from elsewhere in the state, do it. They are that good.

I have been working with Dr. Martone since a bad car accident in 1997. This I underwent and as was promised, I encountered zero pain while having this casing in place for three months. Now in 2014, that foot still is in great shape and he was able to offer me the quality of life that all would expect. Because of this experience, I found myself here again to address a different issue that has now required the use of orthotics for my shoes. When I say suggested, I mean she said and I quote, " Girl, you are seriously messed up.. what happened to you." So apparently when you have 3 kids in 4 years your bones naturally have to shift and make room for your bundle of joy and your bones doesn't necessarily go back to where they supposed to. You add a few car accidents to the mix and you got your self a shifted spine with hips that are an inch and a half out of place. When we are young we all think that we are invincible but turns out we are only human. So, upon searching out a Dr to help me stay away from Dr scholtz shoes and keep me strutting in my heels I found Dr Colby. He took the time, sat down with me and explained the whole adjustment process In detail, reviewed my x-ray and made sure I understood my problem areas and how he planned to fix it. My fiance originally found Dr. Colby himself and started going due to his back pain and he wanted to get some relief. He raved about his experience with him, and convinced me to check him out to see if he can do something about my migraines. I made an appointment in August of 2014, and ever since I have been migraine free. It is now May of 2015 and I can't even believe I lived a life of having multiple migraines a week. He agreed to do the surgery if I went for a Pre Op psychological exam first. I asked him to recommend someone but he said that I had to do it on my own. I spent three days calling places only to find out that there wasn't such a thing. He is aware that I am in a lot of pain but he didn't seem to care. I don't know Drs Gregory, but would trust working with them based on the experience with the staff and Dr. Kusher. Here is what South Windsor Neck & Back is not: Churn and burn. In and out in 5 minutes. Those conveyor belt Chiropractic offices give the profession a bad name. At South Windsor Neck & Back, you get treated. I went here because I threw my neck out. Dr. Kusher sat down and talked to me. He asked questions to understand my situation. Then he took time to diagnose the problem. Only then did he treat me. At my old office, I was in and out in 5 to 10 minutes. Each session at South Windsor Neck & Back took about 30 minutes. Sometimes longer. They gave me electric stimulation and then Dr. Kusher adjusted the areas that needed it. He did not needlessly adjust areas that did not require an adjustment. The best part is once my neck was fine, he told me I did not need to come back until I needed it. There was none of this, "You need to come back every 2 weeks for life." This is clearly a group of doctors confidence in their abilities to build a practice without forcing their patients to have unnecessary adjustments. I feel much better and will go back as needed. If you need a Chiropractor and everyone should have one, this is the place to go.
