The new circuits, the microwave installation, the ceiling fan work, fixing all the switches, figuring out how the last owner bungled the electrical wiring and then resolving it...George did it all and he did it right. It was actually about half the price I was estimating, too. I will definitely call Charles Young Electric in the future if and when I need electrical work, and I'll recommend them at every chance. Message to George: that extra circuit you put in my bedroom has already allowed me to do exactly what we talked about, and my family is MUCH better off because of it! Thank you!!!

Bill is very personable and easily kept a conversation going and kept me informed of what he was doing. He did an excellent job. The implication was that it's hard to find someone who knows what they're doing, is honest, and charges a fair price. Billy has helped us out twice now, and i can say that we found our guy! He showed up for us when all the other businesses were closing up for the day, and he taught us how to fix outlet we were having issues with just in case it ever happened again. When he told me a job would only take x amount of time, he was true to his word. He's very honest and up front. At this point, I truly wouldn't bother calling any other company. I'll definitely be calling him again when I need my other ancient light fixtures updated!

We had a very good experience with this company. They provided a quote for replacing two light…read moreswitches, which seemed like a reasonable price. The hardware they had (type of light switch) was the type I hoped and it matched what we needed, whereas another company used different parts that were less appealing. They said that if the parts had any premature issues that they would replace them within a 2-year window from installation. I believe it was Elijah who assisted us. He came in and already had shoe covers on his shoes to protect our floors, which was nice. He quickly and efficiently replaced both of our light switches and also answered a few questions we had about various other potential electrical projects. We would hire them again for future electrical needs.

Extremely frustrating experience and a complete waste of my time…read more I contacted Villa Electric because I needed an actual diagnostic evaluation of my home's electrical system and panel--not someone to simply come out, look around, and give me estimates for future work. I explained what I needed and specifically asked what they charge for the diagnostic service. I asked twice and never received a price. Instead, Ramon repeatedly told me that estimates are free and that there would be a charge if the technician had to troubleshoot or diagnose anything. That was exactly what I was asking to have done, so naturally my question was: what is the charge? Somehow I still couldn't get a straight answer. I finally canceled the appointment and hired another electrician. I gave the other electrician essentially the same information, and he immediately understood what I wanted, quoted me his $160/hour diagnostic rate, explained what he could inspect, and scheduled the appointment. Simple. What really sealed my opinion of Villa Electric was Ramon's response after I canceled. He told me that "there's no other company out there in the market" that would do more for customers in terms of pricing and quality. That's a pretty remarkable claim to make about your pricing when you've repeatedly refused to tell the customer what your pricing actually is. When I pointed out that contradiction, his entire response was: "Thank you." I can't comment on their electrical work because I never let the process get that far. I can comment on my experience trying to hire them: poor communication, no pricing transparency, and a dismissive attitude when I explained why I was taking my business elsewhere. There are plenty of electricians to choose from. I shouldn't have to chase a company for a straight answer about what they're going to charge me before I agree to diagnostic work in my home. I wouldn't waste my time with Villa Electric again.
