Time and again they demonstrated an impressive depth of knowledge and unique willingness and ability to go above and beyond. They were friendly upfront and quoted me for installing a Tesla Universal Wall Connector at 40A with a permit included, with a fallback if the City rejected. The physical installation itself was completed and looks fine. Unfortunately, the permit process became a major issue. I later learned the permit was being rejected due to load calculation problems, and despite multiple attempts, it was never finalized. After going back and forth, it became clear that neither the original 40A plan nor the fallback plan would be approved on my existing 100A panel. In the end, they chose to step away from the permit process rather than pursue additional solutions. To their credit, they did make a good-faith effort to resolve the situation financially and refunded me $800. I ultimately paid about $1,200 for the installation. The charger works, but I will need to handle permitting and final compliance on my own moving forward. Overall, I think they do solid installation work, but the planning and permit side fell short. I would strongly recommend confirming load calculations and permit feasibility upfront before starting any work.
