    Philly Cheesesteak
    D. K. C.

Late night hunger kicked in and it was Door Dash to the rescue. I came across this spot while scrolling and was drawn to the mix of American and Caribbean food options. The Food: Don't judge me, I ordered a Cheese Steak and a side of Rice and Peas. (I know, odd combinations. LOL) Upon arrival, I was delighted by the presentation alone. The Cheese Steak was inside of a fresh, soft bun and filled with meat then covered in cheese. I'm talking a perfect visual draw. The Rice and Peas were fresh, not too soft, not too hard, authentic flavor and there was an added surprise of Jerk Gravy in the bag. Yassssssssssssssssss. Overall: It was a pleasant experience for a late night fix. I will definitely order from here again, or pay a visit if I'm in the area. I have seen a few other items on the menu that I need to try. LOL!

These little tweety bird chicken pieces are horrible. I am not happy at all with the fries either . It was not what I was banking on seeing how they say vip

They need to change their name to SLOW & GHETTO. A ghetto African/Caribbean place is what this is and I'm irritated that I have to.give it any stars. I called my order in at 11:50pm and was told 20 minutes. I waited 20 minutes and drove 10 minutes to VIP. I told the girl at the counter I had a call in order and was told it's on it's way out. I waited and It's now 12:50 and its 10 people waiting with 5 people working and the order still hasn't come out. I had to CALL to check on the order because no one comes to the counter unless the front door dings. I asked about my order and the ignorant female with an attitude and English as her 2nd language could care less that it's been an hour. It was almost funny to her. I wont waste anymore time and definitely not a dime for overpriced, slow food and nonchalant menial service. I guess they feel since they are open late they can make you wait. WRONG!!!! Legends was still open and I am now omw home with wings. VIP is a JOKE.

The food was horrible! They give a huge portion but you don't want to eat it. The cabbage is tasteless and the stewed chicken is old not stewed. I ordered a beef patty and coco bread it had a funny taste to it. I regret eating all of it, I hope I don't get sick. Oh, the fruit punch is also disgusting. $30 in the trash.

The space was very surprising as from the street it looks small and almost unassuming, but when you walk through the door, the space opens up to the most beautiful decor, opulent seating and the bar was GORGEOUS! They also have a beautiful outdoor patio and an area that can be booked for private parties. The host Ken was welcoming and very helpful. The bartender greeted us with a smile and provided fantastic service (my blackberry lemon drop was perfect). Now for the part you really want to know about...The food...OMG the food! I placed a to-go order (I wish that I had the time to dine-in), I was starving so I opened my food to take a bite in the car and when I tell you that it was SO GOOD, I went BACK inside just to tell the chef how good it was and how I would be back again soon and would be telling everyone about my experience. The menu said that the meats were marinated, but lots of places say the same thing and only have surface seasoning. I ordered the Stewed Chicken Main and EVERY SINGLE BITE was bursting with flavor and so tender. To say that I am impressed, is an understatement. The place is so beautiful I started planning how I could hold a private party there. My visit to Miss Conduck was like finding a hidden gem and I HIGHLY recommend dining there! (I am not a friend/affiliate just a woman who loves great food, excellent service and ambiance).

absolutely love APT 4B…read more The decor alone is worth the visit--it has this beautiful, nostalgic feel with the Jet Magazine-inspired aesthetic that's both cultural and elevated. It feels curated, warm, and intentional without trying too hard. As for the food, my favorites are the oxtail hummus and the seafood curry bowl. Both are full of flavor and always hit. You can tell there's real creativity behind the menu, and everything feels thoughtfully put together. The overall vibe, from the design to the food, makes it a place I genuinely enjoy returning to. Definitely one of my go-to spots.

We tried calling ahead, but no one answered; fortunately, it wasn't too busy when we arrived, so our tardiness wasn't an issue. There was a DJ playing a nice mix of hip hop and R&B, which set a great vibe. We weren't immediately greeted since no one was at the hostess stand, but someone from the kitchen noticed us right away and seated us. They offered a $28 "Girl Brunch" with a choice of cornbread or deviled eggs, plus either jerk chicken fried rice or croissant French toast with blueberry compote, along with a lemon drop. I chose the deviled eggs and croissant French toast and gave the lemon drop to my friend, opting for a mocktail instead. My friend ordered the cornbread and steak and eggs. We both enjoyed everything. I was pleasantly surprised by the croissant French toast, and the mocktail was just as good as any cocktail.

The décor was nice, and the staff were kind, but they seemed more focused on juggling reservations. The biggest disappointment came when I found hair in my food. It was upsetting and honestly pretty disgusting. On top of that, I watched a group of four couples come in without a reservation. The staff agreed to seat them, but split them up--even though the restaurant wasn't packed. Having worked in the restaurant industry myself, I know this isn't how good hospitality works. Overall, the experience was far from what we hoped for, and unfortunately, I wouldn't come back again. I am thankful that my friend paid the bill where the tip was included. I couldn't wait to share my experience.

We were greeted by DJ who gave excellent reccomendations on food and drinks. For drinks we started with sangria and a mango pina colada. The fruit in our drinks was really fresh and tasted like what you would get on a beach while vacationing. For food we tried a few things; the strawberry pancakes, the jerk chicken sandwich, and a side of jerk chicken. Everything was really flavorful and tasty. I'm not normally a pancake person but I loved the strawberry compote on the pancakes. I'm looking forward to making this my go-to brunch spot or bringing out of town visitors here to impress.

I figured I would add an update to go along with a more recent set of photos. I was able to go in, get seated, order, and get a nice platter of ropa vieja. The food here is very reliable. And, to date, I've only had 2 entrees - the ropa vieja and the vaca frita. The restaurant remains clean and comfortable. I've just seen a slight but perceivable decline in their enthusiasm for customer service and, as it is elsewhere, it seems to show up when locales aren't even really busy. That was the situation here. I'd like to move them back up to 5, but this more sullen reception keeps Papi's in Midtown at 4 stars. Because there are about a handful of locations in the Atlanta metro area, it's just easier to go to Papi's and not reinvent the wheel.

What I didn't expect is to see them raise the prices, while making the dishes much smaller. I've always ordered the Jerk Chicken sandwich with fries. Today I was so disappointed to that thin, flimsy sandwich they brought out and about 1/2 of the fries they used to give you. The portion was so small I asked the waitress was this correct, and to my surprise she said "yes, that is how it comes now." I used to leave stuffed after this meal, today I left still hungry. You can raise the prices, but raising them and cutting back on food at the same time is wild. No way you're saving money by giving customers about 10 small fries. They really cut back on chicken in the sandwich also. Most of mine was just bread. Papi's I think you might have lost me as a customer now.
