I've been going to VIP since before they moved and were still One2One hair, altogether over 14 years. The owner/manager Paul is lovely and all of the staff are fantastic. They are friendly and welcoming and very accommodating. All of my family get their hair cut there, my mum, dad and sister. They have a range of prices to suit most budgets with the higher prices for the most experienced and qualified staff, so you really get what you pay for. I've my hair styled for a special occassion there as well and was really pleased with the level of detail and time put into my style. For those saying it's snobby and most of the customers are rich you obviously don't know the area that VIP is in. I would say that the majority of customers are just regular people who appreciate great service. I moved into the area 18 months ago, and badly needed a new hairdresser. First time I went here, I was post-op, and the staff couldnt do enough to make me feel comfortable. They always address you by name, always polite and courteous. I've never had a bad cut or colour, service is exceptional, and as with everything in this world, you get what you pay for. I've never witnessed any snobbery, and I'm a good old working class gal. I am very happy with VIP Hair and wont be going anywhere else anytime soon read more

Good place, friendly staff in a modern trendy salon. Yes its a bit pricey but not as expensive as somewhere like Toni & Guy and a compatible salon I'd say, they even have some staff that left T & G to work there. Don't believe the "reviews" placed here by people who've either never been or have family members who work at a competitor on the same street. read more
