Oh, enough of the fun and games.  Tina  did a fantastic job for a newbie at QI Massage  in the business center of K&H Massage   There are a few problems that I will have to address, but they have nothing to do with Tina's massage performance or massage techniques.   1.  I did notice that during my massage, the music selections were of one song played over and over again.  I would have preferred no music be played in this case.  When I return here, I will request this. 2. I  happened to use the sheet that would normally cover my fatass, and used it to cover the table.  I did not see Tina complete the changing of the sheets, but I do hope she did this.   I am NOT saying she DIDN'T, I am just say it looked like straightening the sheets was all she did.  Also, Tina's English is still in the beginninger's stage, but she is working hard on improving her Grammer and English Language skills.  Please be patient on this...she is trying. 3.  I do recommend  K&H Massage do get a credit card machine up and running.   Walking back and forth between the two businesses can get annoying for some clientele.  Aside from those three things I noticed, my experiences with K&H Massage aka QI Massage. 7/16/23 Star Therapy…read moreMassage has had its star masseuse Jessica working here for a little over a year.   Jessica instantly remembered me the moment I walked through the door. Jessica remind me of someone body that I used to know. I even thought she was someone else, but was later informed she is not the same Jessica I was thinking of. Still, Jessica look very close to the woman in the red dress featured in the picture I took with the new prices for massage. Today, I was shown into the Autumn Room and it looked nice. It is very spacious with two massage chair/couches.  In the center is the massage table.  The Massage table wasn't  heated from what I saw. It is also Summer time and the heat wasn't needed for the massage table if there is one. I noticed the large window is heavily layered to keep out the sunlight.    The Massage: Covering the body is not necessarily a requirement, but can be done if you are not comfortable with being exposed...so to speak. Jessica asked me what kind of pressure I wanted and I went with medium pressure.   Lotion, oil or neither are your choices.   I went with the oil, but I think next time I will go without oil and lotion.   Ashiatsu (backpack massage) is an option, but Jessica didn't incorporate this option into my massage.  Jessica used her forearms  for my back , glutes, but I preferred her hands to Jessica's forearms.  Jessica massaged my legs and feet.    Jessica continued her massage checking to see if I wanted her to pressure to be harder or softer.   I am glad to say Jessica wasn't interrupted  with phone calls or someone else ringing the doorbell.  There is also no time clock is in the room, but there is a clock in the room.  Check your time before the massage starts. Hot towels supplied inside a heat box were applied to my body to remove the excess oil on by body.   Flipping over onto my back Jessica again asked if I wanted oil, lotion or nothing.  I went with oil and Jessica began her work. The stomach massage and chest massage were great.  Yet, the foot massage nearly put me to sleep.  The soft massage is another trick that can put someone to sleep.  It did not happen with me, because I wanted to be awake for the massage. Not fall asleep through it.  Jessica did the hot towel thing again before ending the massage.  Upon standing up, I felt some pain in my back. Jessica was able to massage my back again and removed the tight muscles in my lower back. I truly appreciate this Jessica.   I will definitely return here for another session.   I found it humorous an ironic that we were both wearing red and black outfits on this particular day.   What are the odds of this happening?

I got there they made me fill out a form, offered me tea and mmm de me feel welcomed. After paying for my service I was told to go into one of the rooms, my masseuse name was May and she was very sweet from the beginning. She started washing my feet and from there I know the experience was going to be wonderful. She asked me what areas I wanted to focus on for my massage I told her my neck and shoulder and my calves. She understood my request and provided the most wonderful massage I've ever gotten and I love getting massages. The pressure was just right and she kept on asking if the pressure was okay, the hot stones were my favorite part. Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely go back to see May.

I had a very thorough massage by Lily at Mila Spa in Mc Lean, VA today. The Spa and the room were…read moreclean, and the table linens were fresh and clean as well. Lily is an exceptionally attractive, friendly, and enthusiastic Asian masseuse with good hands, about 35-40. She assured me that she wanted to provide a very good massage experience, and asked if I needed special attention anywhere. Lily provided a very good medium pressure massage (my request) from head to feet with lots of attention to my lower back, as I requested. She took the full hour to massage me, back and front, head to feet. When she was finished, I felt very relaxed and energized. I would recommend Lily to anyone looking for a good, soothing, relaxing massage. She's very good company, with good massage skills. I will return to see Lily for massage.

Reposted &Updated 4/24/23…read more 8/4/22 Okay, I spoke with Ewai about the prices I saw and they are still the same. I stopped by this store to get a body scrub, but learned they only do hot towel. This doesn't help with how I feel, but, it is something to keep in mi d for next time. Today is a very hot day and I wanted the grim scrubbed off of me. Nevertheless, the scub can be combined with the massage if you like. 30 Minutes - $40.00 60 Minutes - $60.00 90 Minutes - $100.00 I will say I like the fact this place doesn't show women posing for the camera in tight clothing giving off several suggestive impressions. I just wanted an hour body scrub with a table shower, but this wasn't an option at this business. They do have the option of the hot water and towel in a bucket, bit I have had this experience before and wasn't interested this time around. I will be back for a massage with Ewai who appears to be the manager. I will request here next time I am here. Maybe next time I will do the hot water bucket thing. We will see when that time comes.

I liked my 75 minute massage a lot, my only complaint really is the my masseuse didn't understand me. This isn't unusual at chinese massage spas, but I would definitely prefer they understand me. It went from a 60 to 75 minute massage because she initially didn't understand I needed my legs massaged, so I had to add it on when she tried to end it at 60 minutes without working on my leg/knee area. I like their selection of services, they seem to do a lot of scalp massages/treatments, and I will definitely go there to try it out as I have never done something like this. They also have reflexology which I will also try. I like that they are very reasonably priced as well, and I was able to get an appointment right away.

During the foot massage, he applied a large amount of Vaseline and rubbed my feet in a way that felt rushed and oddly aggressive, without explanation. When he finished, I thanked him but chose to decline the back massage and proceeded to pay. I left a tip of less than 20%, and in response, he raised his voice at me in his own language. I simply thanked him again and left quietly. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I don't plan to return.

Nevertheless, the same woman that did my foot massage did 90 minutes on my body. I hope I took pictures of some of the changes in this facility. The massage was relaxing the therapist knew what she was doing to put my sore shoulder back at ease. The lady had strong hands and leg massage was outstanding. I don't remember the glutes massage, but I am sure it was good as well. I did notices the women therapist work in the office facility while the men work outside the open work area of the mall. I will be sure to come back here for another massage later on this year.

The massage therapist knew exactly what he was doing and it was clear he is experienced with the intricacies of pregnancy. You obviously cannot lay how you may typically lay for a massage but laying on your side may be even better lol. The space is very clean and welcoming. We were immediately greeted and asked whether we wanted separate rooms for massage or to be in the same room. Angela worked on my wife, and Jolin worked on me. Contrary to any critical review, my wife and I felt that the practitioners' hand/muscle strength was more than adequate, and the timing of our one-hour session did not feel rushed. Nothing was pushed on us for add-ons, even when we asked about what else they offered. It's possible everyone's experience can be different depending on other factors, but our experience matched the very positive sentiment seen by many others on Yelp. As the session began, we were asked multiple times if we were comfortable. And as things continued, I realized this is not a typical "hands and elbows only" type of session. In our deep tissue sessions, Angela and Jolin used their knees, feet, hands, elbows, forearms, and full-body weight, all with graceful movements. Whenever they changed to a different body location, they would keep physical contact while moving towards a new part of the body to avoid surprises and maintain relaxation. In addition to massage, they included some light table stretching to help loosen me up more. It all felt quite amazing, and my wife was satisfied and impressed (she is very picky when it comes to this kind of service). Afterwards, they showed us some of their other rooms. They have some really modern tech available for other cosmetic and skin services. This is not a basic business--they have some really nice equipment and associated services in addition to their excellent massage service. They want you to get a "spa" experience but it totally depends on who your massage/table scrub-shower masseur is. In my case, the kid (Asian American, very slim, stylish, young, but not friendly, extremely standoffish and unpleasant behaviour) who was my masseur did not make it a good experience for me. I'd heard good thing from others and read from reviews but my experience was unfortunately lacking. The whole time I had the table massage shower thing I was thinking "wow this is bad. I feel like I'm in a car wash that is way over priced" I've had tons of Korean spa scrubs and this wasn't even close. This was barely memorable. The massage afterwards was ok but not the best I've had. I told the masseur I had asked for deep tissue and he said he doesn't do deep tissue and usually isn't at that location. And then asked me to stop talking (but I was asking for the modality I asked for!) - the whole time he was quite rude and clearly distracted. Won't be going back. Note: yes I am aware different therapists can make the experience different but quality control has to come from the top. If you have to bring someone in as I asked for a male therapist, then don't just get someone who is bored / unhappy to be there, and makes it known to the client that he is not into the massage and got called in last minute about 3 hours before. Coincidentally 3 hours before is when *i called Prince salon and spa to confirm my appointment, the timing makes me think they forgot my appt and planned late. Also made my appt well in advance so they could have had someone there who cares about being there. Don't go! Go get a scrub at spa riverside instead!
