There is wood everywhere along with old farm equipment, signs, and one-dollar bills that folks have signed and attached to the wall. There is a full bar, beer on tap. They host line dancing on Wednesday night and karaoke on Thursday nights. There are two pool tables to enjoy. The food arrived, and it was delicious. They use Harris Ranch Angus beef in their burgers. The toppings were fresh. The portions were generous. All this is for under $10. While I ate, I learned that the construction of the Monte Carlo took place in the 1890s. Think about it - 134 years. Did they even have nails back then? ;) I recommend you take the short drive to the Old River Monte Carlo and enjoy the history of the place. They should give tours of the upstairs.
