Always clean. Friendly staff. Easy parking. Cheap tickets. The snacks are a bit pricy but that is to be expected. Sad to see it go :(

But like a gritty cheese, not that I should've expected any better and it takes FOREVER for them to heat up stuff probably 'cause it's all frozen. Woulda been better off getting a pretzel or nachos, BUT I will say they are really branching out with their menu. They have all kinds of Pizza BBQ chicken, Buffalo and some others. What I was really looking forward to was the Twizzlers WHICH THEY NO LONGER HAVE! They took away SO many classic snacks and only have like a very tiny selected and a few ice cream selections. Popcorn is never a let down although CHEETO popcorn really? GROSS, but the movie was good and it's the movies so what else can I say. Can never go wrong at the movies!

I don't know if my movie-going experience has been spoiled by the luxury at my local movie theater,…read moreEmagine, but I thought Regal Indianapolis was an absolute mess of a movie theater. My family has been dying to see Wicked, but since just about every showing of Wicked at Emagine was completely sold out for this entire weekend, we had to try Regal Indianapolis instead. Let me just say, I regret not waiting for the crowds to die down at Emagine, even if it meant I couldn't see the movie this weekend. My negative experience started before I even entered the theater. The theater's parking lot was packed, so I had to park in the very back of the lot. It was extremely challenging for me to park correctly because the paint lines had completely worn off and I couldn't determine where the actual parking spaces were supposed to be. Not only is that inconvenient, it's dangerous! When we walked into the movie theater, we joined the huge, seemingly unmoving line for the concession stand. Although there were several employees present in the lobby, only one was serving customers at the concession stand, while everyone else just stood around. We waited in line for no less than 20 minutes before being served. In fact, since waiting in that line made us late for our showtime, I left and found our seats in the theater while my mom and sister waited even more. The concessions themselves left much to be desired. They were out of several candies, the popcorn was cold and slightly stale, and they only had Pepsi products (those who regularly read my reviews know that I am a Coke purist). Also, a 'small' popcorn was half the size as a 'small' popcorn at Emagine, but it cost almost the same amount! I understand that movie concessions are usually pricy, but the lackluster quality of the concessions at Regal made the outrageous price unjustifiable. Finally, what I found the most frustrating about Regal Indianapolis was that no employee checked our tickets or directed us to the correct viewing room. We easily could've walked into any movie without paying, which made me very upset considering I spent almost $50 on 3 matinee tickets. Regal Indianapolis was extremely disappointing, and I when I see Wicked Part 2 next year, you can bet I'll be going to Emagine.

It was a wood plank project in the shape of a tree with the phrase o' come let us adore him. Sheri the owner offered hot cocoa and wine. She led the instructions, gave stencils and all supplies, she also had already put the wood together and screwed it in. The second time I visited was a valentines theme. This one was a string art project. The board said love but the o in Love was actually a heart out of string art.. again Sheri was awesome and included all supplies and led each step of the way. Music plays everyone chats it is a very hipster vibe with colorful art all over the walls she has made.. it is all for sale on the walls as well. The most recent time I visited I had Sheri host my birthday party. I picked the art craft and went with the newly trendy "welcome sign" wood plank for the front porch. My friends fell in love with the little charismatic house and had the best girls night. This place is great and I always come out with the cutest crafts. It is reasonably priced and way more personal than the wine and canvas places.

The reason I give it 4/5 stars is because during weekends with increased crowds many theaters go uncleaned between showings which is not fair for the next person. I understand turn around is fast with the amount of showings for popular movies but I rather a worker say "excuse me" during the trailers to clean up popcorn in and surrounding my seat then have to sit around others peoples mess. My family and I caught a movie at AMC Castleton Square 14 in Indianapolis and walked out having had a perfectly acceptable time, which in the current theatrical landscape is not nothing. Let me start with the part that actually keeps me coming back to AMC properties in general: the Stubs Premier membership and investor connect perks are genuinely good. Free upgrades, discounts, priority lines, the kind of benefits that make you feel like the Republic is finally working in your favor for once. If you are an AMC investor or Stubs Premier member, this alone is reason enough to show up. I would watch movies here purely on the strength of those incentives, and I say that as someone who has experienced the reclining leather seats and full food service of Living Room Theater just across town. Now for the honest part of the review. The facilities are fine. Not bad, not remarkable, just a functional multiplex doing multiplex things. Do not walk in expecting the full food menu experience of a Flixbrewhouse or the day date elegance of Living Room Theater. This is standard AMC, which means popcorn, candy, and a soda the size of a small fuel drum. Manage expectations accordingly and you won't be disappointed. Worth knowing before you go: there are armed security guards on site, and no weapons signage is posted clearly at the entrances. Leave the blasters at home. Due to past incidents in the area, AMC Castleton has also put strict policies in place regarding minors. Anyone under 17 must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian 21 or older for R-rated films, and starting at 6 PM anyone under 18 must have adult supervision to enter or remain in the theater at all. If you're bringing the young Padawans, plan accordingly and make sure your designated adult is actually 21 plus and not just claiming to be. Three stars. Solid enough for what it is, especially if the perks are working in your favor.

We are not always sophisticated people, but we are excellent at pretending. We started at the bar, which looks the part completely. Elegant, well stocked, the kind of bar that makes you feel like you should be wearing something nicer than what you showed up in. I ordered an old fashioned, at which point the gentleman behind the bar admitted, with full transparency, that he was not actually the bartender and would need to Google how to make it. I genuinely appreciated the honesty. In a galaxy full of people who would have just guessed and handed me something terrible, this man chose truth. I thanked him, switched my order to whiskey and coke, and we moved on as allies. From there we headed to concessions and ordered the Take it to the Greek wrap, the La Bamba pizza, and fries with little bits of steak on top. The food was good. Not life altering, not the kind of meal that makes you grab someone's arm and say nothing, just nodding, but genuinely solid movie theater food that arrived at our seats without us having to do anything except recline and wait. The seats reclined. There were actual tables. This is civilized. We watched Disclosure Day, which if you have any interest in extraterrestrial or UFO subject matter is absolutely worth your time. Sitting in a reclining leather seat watching a film about potential contact with beings from other worlds felt appropriately cinematic, even if the leather on most seats has seen better days. Chipping and worn in spots, which is the one visible crack in an otherwise well maintained experience. The theater itself was clean, the concept is fantastic, and the overall vibe delivered exactly what a day date calls for. Four stars. The bar needs an actual bartender on deck and the seats could use some attention, but Living Room Theater is still one of the better ways to spend an afternoon in Indianapolis.

We went on a Sunday and found street parking pretty easily, but then realized the theater validates parking for up to 3 hours. Such a nice perk -- wish I knew before circling around lol. We bought our tickets online ahead of time, and when we got there I ordered the garlic cheesy bread and a drink at the counter. Total was around $15. The seats were really comfy and spacious, which made the whole experience feel worth it. The food came out pretty fast. The garlic cheesy bread was probably like a 5/10 for me... not terrible, but I probably wouldn't order it again. Overall though, really nice theater and I'd definitely come back for another movie night.
