Actually, I'm not entirely sure that it has cooling, but the button switches from red (heated) to blue (not heated). They recline really far back but still allow ample space for others to pass by without you needing to shift your position very much. I was disappointed that the concessions menu is not shown on their website. They give a brief description of the type of things that they offer, but not the full menu or pricing. At the concession stand, you can order and receive certain items immediately (such as candy, popcorn, hot dogs, classic nachos and drinks) but other items (like pizza and the ultimate nachos) will be delivered to your seats. There is also a full bar with an option to order a drink for now and one for later that will be delivered to your seat at a later time. That's pretty cool. In the lobby area, there is a player piano, photo booth and claw machine that dispenses rubber ducks (like the ones that Jeep drivers exchange). The drink area is where you will find condiments, napkins and straws. They have sodas and slushies. They also have lap trays that you can place into the cup holders of your seats for your food orders. They sit kind of high, but it's better than not having any type of tray or table. The cuddle seats are cute little love seats with an ottoman, but they are positioned on the first row (being the least desirable seats in the theater). I tested one out and you would basically need to lay down the entire time in order to see the screen. I didn't reserve those on either visit, but if you bring a blanket and your boo, that could be nice. The hot dog that I ordered was spicy. I wasn't expecting that, but maybe I should've known based on the name listed on the menu. I just wasn't "in the know". The popcorn is freshly popped. We weren't huge fans of the pizza though. It could benefit from being baked a bit longer. Surround sound is good. Lighting/contrast was good. In my opinion, it was a little warm in the theater, which drew my attention to two tiny ceiling fans located on either side of the theater. I'm not sure what their purpose is because they couldn't possibly be there to cool that huge theater. If you run hot, bring a personal fan!

It was a wood plank project in the shape of a tree with the phrase o' come let us adore him. Sheri the owner offered hot cocoa and wine. She led the instructions, gave stencils and all supplies, she also had already put the wood together and screwed it in. The second time I visited was a valentines theme. This one was a string art project. The board said love but the o in Love was actually a heart out of string art.. again Sheri was awesome and included all supplies and led each step of the way. Music plays everyone chats it is a very hipster vibe with colorful art all over the walls she has made.. it is all for sale on the walls as well. The most recent time I visited I had Sheri host my birthday party. I picked the art craft and went with the newly trendy "welcome sign" wood plank for the front porch. My friends fell in love with the little charismatic house and had the best girls night. This place is great and I always come out with the cutest crafts. It is reasonably priced and way more personal than the wine and canvas places.

The reason I give it 4/5 stars is because during weekends with increased crowds many theaters go uncleaned between showings which is not fair for the next person. We are not always sophisticated people, but we are excellent at pretending. We started at the bar, which looks the part completely. Elegant, well stocked, the kind of bar that makes you feel like you should be wearing something nicer than what you showed up in. I ordered an old fashioned, at which point the gentleman behind the bar admitted, with full transparency, that he was not actually the bartender and would need to Google how to make it. I genuinely appreciated the honesty. In a galaxy full of people who would have just guessed and handed me something terrible, this man chose truth. I thanked him, switched my order to whiskey and coke, and we moved on as allies. From there we headed to concessions and ordered the Take it to the Greek wrap, the La Bamba pizza, and fries with little bits of steak on top. The food was good. Not life altering, not the kind of meal that makes you grab someone's arm and say nothing, just nodding, but genuinely solid movie theater food that arrived at our seats without us having to do anything except recline and wait. The seats reclined. There were actual tables. This is civilized. We watched Disclosure Day, which if you have any interest in extraterrestrial or UFO subject matter is absolutely worth your time. Sitting in a reclining leather seat watching a film about potential contact with beings from other worlds felt appropriately cinematic, even if the leather on most seats has seen better days. Chipping and worn in spots, which is the one visible crack in an otherwise well maintained experience. The theater itself was clean, the concept is fantastic, and the overall vibe delivered exactly what a day date calls for. Four stars. The bar needs an actual bartender on deck and the seats could use some attention, but Living Room Theater is still one of the better ways to spend an afternoon in Indianapolis.
