This has become our favorite movie theater as of late. We saw Obsession and The Odyssey here recently. The seats are comfortable with reclining, heating and cooling features. Actually, I'm not entirely sure that it has cooling, but the button switches from red (heated) to blue (not heated). They recline really far back but still allow ample space for others to pass by without you needing to shift your position very much. I was disappointed that the concessions menu is not shown on their website. They give a brief description of the type of things that they offer, but not the full menu or pricing. At the concession stand, you can order and receive certain items immediately (such as candy, popcorn, hot dogs, classic nachos and drinks) but other items (like pizza and the ultimate nachos) will be delivered to your seats. There is also a full bar with an option to order a drink for now and one for later that will be delivered to your seat at a later time. That's pretty cool. In the lobby area, there is a player piano, photo booth and claw machine that dispenses rubber ducks (like the ones that Jeep drivers exchange). The drink area is where you will find condiments, napkins and straws. They have sodas and slushies. They also have lap trays that you can place into the cup holders of your seats for your food orders. They sit kind of high, but it's better than not having any type of tray or table. The cuddle seats are cute little love seats with an ottoman, but they are positioned on the first row (being the least desirable seats in the theater). I tested one out and you would basically need to lay down the entire time in order to see the screen. I didn't reserve those on either visit, but if you bring a blanket and your boo, that could be nice. The hot dog that I ordered was spicy. I wasn't expecting that, but maybe I should've known based on the name listed on the menu. I just wasn't "in the know". The popcorn is freshly popped. We weren't huge fans of the pizza though. It could benefit from being baked a bit longer. Surround sound is good. Lighting/contrast was good. In my opinion, it was a little warm in the theater, which drew my attention to two tiny ceiling fans located on either side of the theater. I'm not sure what their purpose is because they couldn't possibly be there to cool that huge theater. If you run hot, bring a personal fan! read more

That being said the prepay option for purchasing the tickets went well. $5 movies offered on Tuesdays with $1 processing fee so $6 total. They offer a way to order food and have it brought to you. I really love this theater. It is always very clean. The floor is not sticky, there isn't spilled popcorn scattered around, and the restrooms are clean and well stocked. Concessions are more than just popcorn and candy. The food is really good, and there is a nice variety of. But the absolute best thing about Emagine is the comfortable seats. And they are HEATED. I have never seen heated seats in a movie theater before. I can't recommend Emagine highly enough. Just an excellent experience overall. read more

We went for the first time to this movie theater to see the movie sinners. We weren't sure what to expect. As far as the experience goes finally enough, we saw so many people coming in with blankets. We weren't sure what that was about, but we waited in line. OK when you first get in there, we've already bought our tickets online so we didn't need to go get tickets so we got in the concession line. You order all your concessions first some of them like cups for drinks and popcorn you can get right away. If you order anything else, that usually has a wait time and they will deliver it to your seat. You go further in line and then take care of your payment for your concessions. As always, concessions are expensive. We purchased a water, an icy, Bosco sticks with that icy and a medium popcorn and it was $32. Two of the drink stations were completely out of Coke and the ice teas were not very frozen, but we made do. Inside the theater it was clean. They have reclining seats and they are also heated, which was awesome. The main thing I noticed was the difference in sound quality and more of a cinematic picture. There was more depth to the picture quality. I think it was an overall good experience. The ticket prices were a little higher than normal so I think it depends on what the movie is whether I would go see it there again , but this one was a good choice to see in this way. The lobby area was spacious but we went straight to the movie since we were running late so my rating is strictly based on the actual theater room. It was clean and there were even "cuddle couches" in the front but very close to the screen. We got normal seating and the chairs were very comfortable and reclined all the way back and are heated! I used to go here all the time when I was in high school, back when it had a different name and before it was renovated. I still stop in a few times a year since my family lives nearby, but I now live on the west side, so it's no longer my go-to theater. They consistently are one of the cleanest movie theaters in Indy out of all the theaters I've been to. Their renovations are superb- the recliners are way more comfortable than the bucket seats from when I was a kid (and they are heated), the added bar is fun to be able to grab a beer or cocktail from before the start of the movie (although drinks can get pricey), and their popcorn is still delicious and doesn't have butter on it that leaves a chemical aftertaste. I definitely recommend coming here to see a movie if you've never been! Hamilton Town Center has so many fun things to do before or after your movie, so you could spend the whole day over in Noblesville. read more

Disappointed...I really wished our visited was better. I had been anticipating visiting this place for a long time, and I have to say I was disappointed. There has been so much talk about the cozy love seats and the recliners, but I just didn't have the experience I've been seeing across social platforms. It wasn't any different than what I've experienced elsewhere. Upon arrival, the lobby was dirty and the place must have been short staffed. We waited in line for a half hour to get snacks. We were early and almost missed the beginning of the movie. The loveseat couches are only available at the very front of the theater. Who wants to sit all the way up there?!! I thought they'd be available throughout the whole theater. But not so, so govern yourself accordingly. Again, it's no different than what I experienced at AMC theaters with reclining chairs, so not either the 40+ minute drive for me. Emagine is an amazing theatre. I see a lot of movies, and I visit movie theaters multiple times per month. I put this Emagine theater up there in the list of the top movie theaters around Indy. First, they have comfortable leather-ish seats that recline, with a button you can push to heat the seat, if you wish. The chairs are so comfortable that I actually fell asleep while watching Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (sorry, Spider-Man. It's not you, it's the comfy seats.). My kids thought I paid extra for us to sit in these fancy seats, but no. All of the theaters have these reclining seats. There are also "cuddle seats" that are basically love seats that fit two people. The seating game is ultra luxurious and worth visiting this theater to experience. This theater serves snacky food at their concession area like pizzas, quesadillas, chicken tenders, pretzel bites and hot dogs, and also your typical movie snacks like popcorn, candy and Icees. If you're ordering something that takes a while (like a pizza), you can order and pay at the concession stand, and they will deliver it to your seat in the theater. This theater has a full bar. You can pull up to it and enjoy a drink right there at the bar, or order to-go and enjoy while you watch your movie. They will even put a lid on your plastic cup full of adult beverage so you don't drop a single drip as you make your way back to your seat. Mostly, I think I was most impressed with two things: how clean this movie theater is, and how balanced the sound was during the previews and the feature film. Sometimes, the sound in a theater will be way too loud. But the sound here was perfect, especially during the previews. It was loud enough to hear, but not so loud that you couldn't comfortably talk to the people next to you. And the theater was exceptionally clean, not just our seats but everywhere we visited. I'm so happy to have visited this movie theater, because now I have another Hamilton County movie theater to add to my rotation. read more

I am a huge fan of Emagine, this is my go-to movie theater! I love everything from the "upscale" vibe of the lobby, with the grand piano and velvet ropes, to the viewing rooms with huge screens and updated surround-sound systems. I also appreciate how every bathroom is clean and organized. As a movie lover, I am a regular patron of Emagine, and I feel special when the employees remember me and treat me like a friend instead of just another customer. Lillian is especially great--she is so enthusiastic about her job and is always kind and welcoming to guests. Emagine often shows "Flashback Cinema" pictures, perfect for anyone craving the nostalgia of watching a childhood favorite on the big screen again. The upcoming films include "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" in January and "Titanic" in February. Emagine also offers Sensory Friendly screenings of several films, creating a more inclusive environment for moviegoers with sensory challenges. There are also several opportunities for discounted tickets and snacks like $5 ticket Tuesday and singing up for the membership program gets rewarded with free popcorn and special offers like free tickets on your birthday! Emagine has several great features that makes going to the movies a special event. The best and worst thing about the Emagine experience is the concessions. As for the pros, Emagine offers more than just popcorn and candy--they also serve whole pizzas, chicken strips, quesadillas, and more! Emagine also has multiple Coca-Cola Freestlye machines, with over 100 options for soft drinks. The Emagine E-Bars serve draft beer, wine, and specialty cocktails (including a "monthly specials" menu). Eating at Emagine is an experience in itself! However, the concessions stand lines are very complicated. For starters, I waited in a line for 10 minutes just to find a sign halfway through saying that if you were only purchasing drinks/candy, you had to proceed straight to the register. I believe it would be ten times more convenient for that sign to be placed at the beginning of the line so I didn't have to wait just to be escorted into another long line. Also, if you order popcorn or other food, you cannot pay at the counter, instead, you have to wait in another line to pay at the register, all while balancing your purchases. Finally, there are several cashier stations set up, but over the several times I visited Emagine in these past two months alone, I have only seen one cash register open. Overall, it is just an overly complicated and inconvenient way to order snacks. I love Emagine, but I just wish the concessions stands were easier for customers to navigate and staff members to manage. read more

We enjoy going to Emagine theaters, first of all they are only a mile away from our house. I love that they have real butter for the popcorn for an added fee of course. I don't know how anyone likes that oil flavored butter. Gross. We went this past Saturday night and the movie we were seeing was in a preview room with only about 16 seats. These rooms are upstairs and honestly I didn't even know they existed. It's usually freezing in this building so I dressed for it only to find it hot and humid, I did reach out to a staff member and a manager came and turned on the AC. Now here is why u deducted a star from them. If you are going to sell pizzas and smash boxes etc then you need to do like Flix brewhouse and have tables that pull up to the chairs. I didn't enjoy the smash box we got at all mostly due to nowhere to sit it but on the floor. The chicken quesadilla was good but very spicy. Chicken strips and cheese curds basic Sysco food. Wow! Thanks to our granddaughter wanting to see MEAN GIRLS for a second time, we had to experience a fantastic theater, EMAGINE. Beautiful theater lobby and the theaters are luxurious with the most comfortable & heated recliners. They offer a full bar with wines, beer and very well crafted cocktails. Besides the normal popcorn and candies, a wide variety of hot food is offered. One might expect a much higher price point with all this luxury, but it is completely in line with the mainstream theaters. read more

This is the best theater in town. The decor is impeccable, and the team at Emagine is friendly and genuinely cares about making your movie experience the best it can be! The food/concessions are great and the ability to order food and have it delivered to your seat is a cool part of the movie going experience! For $12, you can sign up for their VIP rewards, and you pay zero dollars for service fees to book online. You also get some cool free popcorn and ticket rewards. My only problem is the theater is located further from my house than I'd like. Check out Emagine for your next movie adventure, but be warned, it will spoil you and make other theaters seem less. read more
