I came to the movie theater to see "IF" as part of my Indy Flims buff Meetup group. It was a Monday evening and the theater was dead, so it was very nice to have the whole theater to ourselves. The staff were very professional and helpful when pointing us to the theater where our movie was showing. The AMC theater had a very nice ambiance which it always does, and the selection of refreshments was very nice. This must be a new movie theater because I had never heard of it before I came to see the movie. It is conveniently located next to Target in the Landmark Glendale Shopping center off of Keystone Ave. I was especially impressed with how clean the theater was and the bathrooms were clean and looked professional as well. In the past, I have been in movie theaters that were nasty and very dirty, so it was very refreshing to see a clean movie theater. All in all, this is a wonderful movie theater and the staff are friendly and professional, so I would highly recommend coming here for the movies. You will definitely get your money's worth!

    Entire theater to ourselves!

My teen daughters and I visited yesterday for a matinee showing of Spiderman: No Way Home. We had the entire theater to ourselves! It was nice. I felt like we were the only patrons but they were staffed appropriately and the facility was clean. I didn't give a 5 star review simply because the theater is a bit older and we didn't sample the concession stand offerings, but everyone was nice and professional and we enjoyed ourselves!

This theater is no our usual go to but after shopping at target we decided to catch an early movie. They offer a special before 6pm all tickets are 8 dollars. This theater is a no frills theater that's for sure. I remember coming here as a kid and I don't believe it's ever been updated. It needs a refresh terribly. Concessions is serving the basics due to Covid a lot of items aren't available. One thing that was frustrating is they aren't offering refills. Not on large drinks which is so bizarre to me. I know for longer movies it's easy to fly through a large drink and I don't think spending another six dollars is fair. The seats were terrible. We didn't see one seat that wasn't visibly stained. I tried to not think about it because you just never know but we were grossed out for sure. The seats are so worn down and uncomfortable. Hence the need for them to desperately update. I would just avoid this one and go to a nicer theater in the area.

I enjoy coming to this theater. It's not far from my house, the staff is always nice. I went to go see the little mermaid, and there was an Aaliyah because it was in the afternoon, which was good in the lobby, seem like it was clean and then when we got into the theater, it was clean. We didn't get anything from the concession because we had just ate prior but it seems like they had a good selection of snacks. I've been to this theater quite a bit and I have no complaints except for their bathrooms can use a little TLC.

Dirty!!!! Gross, dirty!!! I did not even want to sit in the seats and we thought about just asking for a refund and leaving but we stayed and stuck to the floor. The employees were super nice and friendly.

This theatre is very average, it was nothing special but I saw a new movie for an affordable price, so no complaints there. The seats are the older version, meaning they don't recline and you can't reserve ahead of time. If it's a new movie at a popular time, I'd recommend coming early to make sure you can get a desirable seat. All of the theaters are tiny, again compared to the newer spots in town. That being said, it was clean and fairly comfortable. We went to a Saturday 2:30 showing, where adult tickets are discounted to $7 each for an early weekend deal. Free refills are available on large bags of popcorn. A large popcorn and drink costed $14 which seems comparable to the way movie snacks are priced. I would come back solely based on convenience and weekend value, but I was not impressed

I went to Broad Ripple High School in the early 2000s when Glendale Mall was still an enclosed mall. Besides some very minor cosmetic tweaks, this theater is still pretty much frozen in time. Because of that, ticket prices are quite a bit lower than several, more modern theaters on the north-side. No leather/recliner seats here. If a theater is full, you're packed in like sardines but that isn't likely. There is bicycle parking, but it is a very sad bicycle rack that isn't bolted to the ground and could easily be moved. To their credit, the concession stand has expanded a bit beyond your standard nachos, popcorn, candy and soda. There are some type of ready-made donuts and coffee as well. While the theater is dated, the price reflects it. $6.50 before 6pm I believe is pretty much a steal nowadays. Come here for the non-3d/IMAX flicks and you'll be quite pleased. Or take your kids or nephews here to tell them what the movie-theater experience was like 15 years ago.

Convenient location to my apartment and it's fairly empty but the seats are gross. Most of the seats seem to have something on them. I don't want to be distracted from watching a movie worrying about what I'm sitting on, disgusting. Luckily it was empty so we made sure to find 2 clean seats next to each other. The seating situation was a huge turnoff and I doubt I'll go back. They really need to renovate the theatre.

This is one of two landmark locations in Indianapolis which I love, since this theater chain tends to show films that tend not to get a ton of screen time. Glendale 12 is over by the target and Macy's. Very clean location, you never have to wait very long in a line to get into see a movie. I'd call this place traditional, stadium seats, smaller screens it's very quiet compared to others, but that's not a bad thing! I keep coming back just for a change of pace and they have different movie screening times, I will say this if you have movie pass, the card doesn't work so it's all done via e-ticketing. I went a saw Sicario and essentially had the place to myself which was great. Comfy seats, good food and drink options you can't go wrong! Another plus of this theater is that it has those uncommon movies but then they also show the big block buster hits so it's the best of both worlds!

They actually had crafts as we waited for the movie to start!

While I enjoy the convenience of streaming…read moremovies at home, I do miss the simplicity of yesteryear when going to the movies was an event: Looking in the newspaper or calling the automated phone number to find showtimes, the smell of fresh popcorn greeting you as you enter the theater, or creating your own "double feature" by jumping theaters when the attendant wasn't looking. Every time I go to the movies, and I mean every-single-time, I think of one person... my Grandmother. She is the one who passed down her love of movies to me. She lived in St. Augustine, Florida, and I would only see her once a year, or so. But when we visited, Grandmother had a list of movies we would go watch. I still remember watching Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom with my Grandmother by my side. I am sure Dr. Jones was not her first choice, yet she loved going to the theater and spending time with her grandson. AMC makes me excited to go to the movies. During covid, I was scared movie theaters would literally go out of business, and we would lose an important part of our cultural history (I am not exaggerating!). I now love passing on my love for theaters to my son. We get a Coke ICEE and a large popcorn (both are refillable at AMC. Yes, refillable ICEE! What?!) and sit back to enjoy the show. AMC makes going to the movies an enjoyable occasion. Clean theaters, helpful staff and those amazing reclining chairs set the stage (pun intended!) for a great experience. If you plan on going to AMC regularly, make sure and download their mobile app. From the app, I can look up showtimes and theaters. I can also order tickets and concessions, as well. Once you arrive at the theater, you simply scan the barcode on your phone, pick up your snacks that are are already waiting for you at the concession stand, and then go find your seats in time for the previews to start. No fuss. No hassle. No need to get there early to find the best seat. AMC delivers the nostalgia I love about going to the theater as well as offering modern conveniences like their mobile app, choosing your reclining seat ahead of time, and pre-ordering your snacks so they are ready to go at showtime. If you haven't been to an actual movie in a while, go order a bucket of popcorn and grab a Coke ICEE and watch an upcoming attraction. As for me, I will continue to honor the legacy of my Grandmother by visiting my local AMC as often as I can.

We arrived and parked in the garage located next to the theater. When we checked in at the box office, we were told to request parking ticket validation upstairs. They provide 3-hour parking validation. I was under the belief that we could order refreshments from our seats, but the usher at the theater door advised that we should order at the counter and food (with the exception of beverages, popcorn and candies) would be brought out to our seats. This was disappointing because the line was quite long. We stood in the queue and once we reached the counter, we were assisted by what I believe was the food service manager. He spoke with a sense of ownership over the issue that was their beer refrigeration line. All of their beer is on tap, and none was available because of this issue. The gentleman was short with us. He talks fast and asked what we'd like and before we could even get the words out of our mouths, he demanded that we produce our seat tickets. I was pulling them out of my pocket when he said something to the effect of "we can't deliver it to your seats if we don't know where you're seated". This is true, but once I gave him the tickets, he held onto them until the end of our transaction. If he didn't need them right away, then why cut us off like that? My husband tipped on the receipt, but I felt that the service was subpar. I hope the tips are given to the food runners. When we found our seats, there was a huge spill in front of one of them. The employees have to come into the theater and remove dishes, cups, etc. after each show, so that spill should have been addressed. I found an employee who was running food orders and asked him for a towel. He graciously assisted us in cleaning up the spill. We both ordered The Fast Times pizzas. They were small, personal sized pies. They were cheesy, with a generous amount of pepperoni, but the crust wasn't fully cooked. I barely ate half of mine before I began feeling sick. I had to excuse myself to restroom shortly thereafter when I became ill. My husband's stomach is stronger than mine, or perhaps his was fully cooked. The seats were comfortable and I don't think you can pick a "bad one", but the food and the service could use improvement.

My family has been dying to see Wicked, but since just about every showing of Wicked at Emagine was completely sold out for this entire weekend, we had to try Regal Indianapolis instead. Let me just say, I regret not waiting for the crowds to die down at Emagine, even if it meant I couldn't see the movie this weekend. My negative experience started before I even entered the theater. The theater's parking lot was packed, so I had to park in the very back of the lot. It was extremely challenging for me to park correctly because the paint lines had completely worn off and I couldn't determine where the actual parking spaces were supposed to be. Not only is that inconvenient, it's dangerous! When we walked into the movie theater, we joined the huge, seemingly unmoving line for the concession stand. Although there were several employees present in the lobby, only one was serving customers at the concession stand, while everyone else just stood around. We waited in line for no less than 20 minutes before being served. In fact, since waiting in that line made us late for our showtime, I left and found our seats in the theater while my mom and sister waited even more. The concessions themselves left much to be desired. They were out of several candies, the popcorn was cold and slightly stale, and they only had Pepsi products (those who regularly read my reviews know that I am a Coke purist). Also, a 'small' popcorn was half the size as a 'small' popcorn at Emagine, but it cost almost the same amount! I understand that movie concessions are usually pricy, but the lackluster quality of the concessions at Regal made the outrageous price unjustifiable. Finally, what I found the most frustrating about Regal Indianapolis was that no employee checked our tickets or directed us to the correct viewing room. We easily could've walked into any movie without paying, which made me very upset considering I spent almost $50 on 3 matinee tickets. Regal Indianapolis was extremely disappointing, and I when I see Wicked Part 2 next year, you can bet I'll be going to Emagine.
