Updating my review after several years. The seats aren't as comfortable as some of the other Hamilton County theaters. Flix is due for an update. Our group of four ordered appetizers, alcoholic beverages, and a variety of entrées. One of the appetizers was the hummus platter, and the naan was ice cold. The server told us that the oven wasn't working. That would have been nice to know at the time we ordered, not after. She took the naan back to the kitchen, microwaved it, and brought it back. My burger was missing some of the items I had ordered, and the tater tots were missing the ranch I ordered. With the exception of the food it was still a decent experience.

Love this place! So glad I got to witness the wicked double feature here. The steak avocado wrap is one of my favorite things to get. Also the cheese curds and loaded fries. Service is always great, you can choose to order through your server or on the app. Food/Drinks never take too long to come. Definitely my favorite place to see a movie!

Located in Carmel. It features large theaters and a wide selection of craft beers to choose from. The seats are leather but they do not recline. They have pull out tables to enjoy food and beverages. The seats are old but reasonably comfortable. The theater overall is out dated and not very inviting. The food is terrible. There are a bunch of kids in the back making this stuff. It's a decent place to enjoy a craft beer and a movie. Outside of that not all that great.

This is a nice location. There's plenty of parking and when you walk in, it's a big open space lined with beer silo tank "thingys". Once you purchase tickets and go to your theater, you can order off the menu by scanning the code or pushing the button at your seat. It is recommended to arrive early so you can have your food/drinks ordered before the movie starts. I had the popcorn, loaded fries with pulled pork and the Luna Rosa beer. The popcorn was evenly buttered and the fries were crispy but could have been seasoned more but overall everything was good. The tables in front of you do pull forward which was convenient. The staff was great and they did a good job explaining everything

Flixs honestly does a pretty fair job of giving you a good movie/dining experience. The food is always pretty yummy, and they have a good selection of drinks. I especially loved that this time they had some movie-themed drinks. The negative is, as you would expect in a movie/dinner environment, that everything is always a little sticky, and not quite clean. I also really miss the reclining chairs (I know, I'm spoiled) that other movie theaters have. However, flex is always consistent, and I'll definitely be back.

I've been here 3 times with the family and they have all been great experiences. The food is solid, the beer is excellent and the seats are supper comfortable....add it all up and it's a great experience for the family or adulting!!

came here for the harry potter fanfest . we were given a souvenir cup . and there was butter beer (alcoholic and non alcoholic) and a featured pizza . can't wait for more of these themed nights/movies . i liked they have the option to order from the app and you don't have to keep bugging your server . i was however annoyed that i ordered a non alcoholic butter beer , and 3 mins later my friend did but was told they don't have it . overall a good time . will be back in the future

Love the concept of this place! The service was great and they are very conscientious not to disturb others in the theatre when taking orders. They did a great job refilling my drink throughout the movie (something I hate doing at other theaters and missing the movie). Table tops pull out and push in when not needed. No reclining chairs. Food was nothing to come back solely for. I'd give my sandwich a 3/5.

I am only giving 2 stars because the 2 staff members working concessions were nice, otherwise this would be 1 star. Everything else was downhill from there. After we got drinks and a popcorn, we walked away to go get straws and I tripped on a huge cord they have on the floor for their refrigerated drink coolers. Only part of the cord is covered up and I tripped over the exposed area closest to the registers. Once we got to our theater we immediately noticed that it had not been cleaned prior to our movie because there was an empty water bottle in a cup holder a row ahead of us, as well as popcorn all over the floor. We hadn't been sitting in our seats very long at all before my husband's arm rest just fell off of his chair. We had the 2 end seats, so his left armrest had no cup holder and was very wobbly and then it just completely fell off. It looked like it just gets set down in there, but it was just annoying and janky, so we moved down a seat since only 2 other people were in the theater with us. To top it all off, a speaker to our right kept making a buzzing noise when it was a louder scene, so more than one repair needs to be done to theater 13. Overall, the theater just had a very old, run-down vibe and was not clean. We will not be returning to this location again.

Every time I go to the movies, and I mean every-single-time, I think of one person... my Grandmother. She is the one who passed down her love of movies to me. She lived in St. Augustine, Florida, and I would only see her once a year, or so. But when we visited, Grandmother had a list of movies we would go watch. I still remember watching Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom with my Grandmother by my side. I am sure Dr. Jones was not her first choice, yet she loved going to the theater and spending time with her grandson. AMC makes me excited to go to the movies. During covid, I was scared movie theaters would literally go out of business, and we would lose an important part of our cultural history (I am not exaggerating!). I now love passing on my love for theaters to my son. We get a Coke ICEE and a large popcorn (both are refillable at AMC. Yes, refillable ICEE! What?!) and sit back to enjoy the show. AMC makes going to the movies an enjoyable occasion. Clean theaters, helpful staff and those amazing reclining chairs set the stage (pun intended!) for a great experience. If you plan on going to AMC regularly, make sure and download their mobile app. From the app, I can look up showtimes and theaters. I can also order tickets and concessions, as well. Once you arrive at the theater, you simply scan the barcode on your phone, pick up your snacks that are are already waiting for you at the concession stand, and then go find your seats in time for the previews to start. No fuss. No hassle. No need to get there early to find the best seat. AMC delivers the nostalgia I love about going to the theater as well as offering modern conveniences like their mobile app, choosing your reclining seat ahead of time, and pre-ordering your snacks so they are ready to go at showtime. If you haven't been to an actual movie in a while, go order a bucket of popcorn and grab a Coke ICEE and watch an upcoming attraction. As for me, I will continue to honor the legacy of my Grandmother by visiting my local AMC as often as I can.

My family has been dying to see Wicked, but since just about every showing of Wicked at Emagine was completely sold out for this entire weekend, we had to try Regal Indianapolis instead. Let me just say, I regret not waiting for the crowds to die down at Emagine, even if it meant I couldn't see the movie this weekend. My negative experience started before I even entered the theater. The theater's parking lot was packed, so I had to park in the very back of the lot. It was extremely challenging for me to park correctly because the paint lines had completely worn off and I couldn't determine where the actual parking spaces were supposed to be. Not only is that inconvenient, it's dangerous! When we walked into the movie theater, we joined the huge, seemingly unmoving line for the concession stand. Although there were several employees present in the lobby, only one was serving customers at the concession stand, while everyone else just stood around. We waited in line for no less than 20 minutes before being served. In fact, since waiting in that line made us late for our showtime, I left and found our seats in the theater while my mom and sister waited even more. The concessions themselves left much to be desired. They were out of several candies, the popcorn was cold and slightly stale, and they only had Pepsi products (those who regularly read my reviews know that I am a Coke purist). Also, a 'small' popcorn was half the size as a 'small' popcorn at Emagine, but it cost almost the same amount! I understand that movie concessions are usually pricy, but the lackluster quality of the concessions at Regal made the outrageous price unjustifiable. Finally, what I found the most frustrating about Regal Indianapolis was that no employee checked our tickets or directed us to the correct viewing room. We easily could've walked into any movie without paying, which made me very upset considering I spent almost $50 on 3 matinee tickets. Regal Indianapolis was extremely disappointing, and I when I see Wicked Part 2 next year, you can bet I'll be going to Emagine.
